The most unexpected retreat experience! Difficult to describe as DATU is like no other. You will not find a kinder and more caring team. The food is off the charts delicious. The therapists, simply world class. I just wish you ran year round…

I honestly cannot think of much to improve, it was all perfect. I’m in awe of the dedication from ALL staff/therapists, how positive and non-judgemental we were received with open arms. It became an environment where we could all be really honest without fearing the reactions from other people. It’s the safest I’ve felt in a very very long time. Thank you so much for embracing me in every aspect.

I give Datu 5 stars because they gave me a wonderful week in the true Ayurvedic spirit. It was authentic, professional. Everything was thought out down to the smallest detail, so that as a guest you didn't have to deal with it yourself. Nature was healing in itself and you leave with inner joy and a feeling that you just have to go back 🙏🏼

I had no idea what to expect, but Datu Wellness was the best wellness getaway I've ever had. I consider myself lucky to have experienced such a soothing and healing retreat in the most gorgeous scenery of the world in Tuscany. If only I could keep it going every day here in New York City.

Thank you for the wonderful experience. I loved every little detail. You improved so much since October where I already had an amazing time based on the treatments, now it got even better regarding on the room style, garden, pool area, kitchen and details mentioned to you before. Personaly I love the given outfits, not having to think about what to wear and the watch to unwind even more from daily life.

DATU is the best creation and atmosphere.
I loved SO MUCH the acupuncture & Chinese medicine treatment. It is like magic. Laticastelli becomes like a magnet while DATU is there. The team is so complete and made of great professionals and experts that is hard to find elsewhere. The main concept is incredibly innovative and takes a positive distance from so many other retreats that you can find. You just get back in control of your mind and soul and body after only a few days with them. Thank you.

I just finished a week of wellness retreat with Datu.
First of all I really wish to congratulate with all the staff, the doctors that followed my from the first day with personalized treatments. My neck was hurting since a long time and last week I really reborn.

It was a new Experience for me. At the beginning I thought was hard to be used with body cleaning healthy food, no phone and just relaxe my mind and body, but then the second day everything was quite clear... this gave me my life again.

I highly reccomand Datu Wellness to all of you. Follow their suggestions and just trust. You will feel and see the difference in your life.

Here's why I would never recommend this retreat
* Unreliable Dietary Accommodation: They cannot be trusted to cater to allergies.
* Dismissive and Unaccountable: Their communication tactics lack empathy and attempt to avoid responsibility. Downplaying the severity and attempting to shift blame is unacceptable.

Off to a rocky start: I booked using a discount code promising a free airport transfer. However, Datu initially tried to charge €75 for a shared transfer. It took a lot of convincing for them to honour our agreed-upon terms.

Severe Dietary Needs Ignored: I booked the retreat with Datu Wellness with the express understanding they could cater to my gluten allergy (Celiac Disease). Despite clear communication beforehand, I was accidentally served dishes and drinks containing gluten on at least three separate occasions! This resulted in stomach pain at the retreat and a decrease in coordination which is still ongoing a month later.

Unprofessional Response: The retreat center's response was appalling. Initially, they acknowledged the mistake. However, their later responses downplayed the severity and contradicted themselves regarding gluten content, specifically by making inaccurate claims about oats (Even the chef confirmed that the oat milk served wasn't a gluten-free variety). Furthermore, the retreat center resorted to unprofessional tactics by mentioning a personal matter I had previously shared in confidence. This was irrelevant to the gluten exposure and only served to deflect responsibility. They offered no meaningful resolution beyond empty sympathies.

Prioritize Your Health: This is a blatant disregard for the health and safety of guests with Celiac Disease. If you have severe dietary restrictions, avoid Datu at all costs! Their inability to guarantee a safe gluten-free environment is concerning. Please prioritize your health and choose a retreat center that takes dietary restrictions seriously!

Positive Staff: It's important to note that the retreat center staff coming in from India were fantastic. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and competent apart from the kitchen debacle. Unfortunately, the owner's response to the situation was entirely dissimilar.
