Soley for the purpose of trying to harvest even more of your private information. Then give this BS about how some scores may vary from one agency to another. Sorry for the screaming!

They are a money-making racket you can never get in contact with them on the phone I would a strongly advised people to give them a total miss they want your money

Wish I could give them a minus zero. Their a dead beat credit company. Quick to slap something on ur Credit Report but forever getting it off! Best Buy put the wrong info on my statement. I contacted Experian. They left it up for over thirty days n I showed them proof. They get away w/too much. Who's really in charge? Their quick to take ten points off for something n give u two points back. What's really going on? Who's really in charge n watching them?

I signed up for the 30 day free trial a few days ago.
When I sign in there isn't any of my information it says no information try again later.
I tried to cancel but it won't let me do that.

Unable to help with My late husband’s Experian credit report
I thought wrongly that Experian help people to save money, access credit and protect their identities.
Asked them to help when I asked them to help me identify the banks/building societies and other financial institutions that my late husband had an account with.
Since Al his information was online we are unable access these records.
The response we received was
We can absolutely do this BUT you should approach the financial institutions and they should provide these details.
We don’t know which financial institutions my late husband was dealing with, that is why we asked Experian for their help.
So unfortunately they are not very helpful to people to save money, access credit and protect their identities
Impossible for me to cancel my account…
Impossible for me to cancel my account with them! They locked my account, but kept charging me 14.99 per month, and would not let me cancel it! It's almost impossible to get through to a person, and when I did, they wouldn't authenticate me! Outrageous! I had to go to my credit card company to block their monthly attempts to take money from me.
Do not ever do business with them if you can avoid it.
A despicable company with no regards to…
A despicable company with no regards to the information they hold and give to third party suppliers. They off er a free service on order to gain a client base to sell and promote other products. Beware they propogate incorrect and potential financially harmful personal information. This is a broken business model with a growing campaign to expose their 'sheltered' practice. Watch out!
Clueless company
Absolutely useless this company would you pay £14.99 to these people who don't have a clue about credit never missed a payment with any of my creditors and then they say I've had 5 letters from debt collectors which I haven't as my accounts are upto date this has had a massive effect on my health total rubbish
I called to have my "lock" removed for…
I called to have my "lock" removed for Duke energy (to have my service turned on). The man on the phone at experian asked me several personal questions then needed me to take a photo front & back of my driver's license then a picture of myself. I was in a store at the time but provided him everything he needed. Then he proceeded to say I was not verifiable & needed to ask more questions. Needless to say, after the questions he still told me I was unverifiable. At that point I needed to mail a cover letter, name, address, phone and a brief summary as to why I called & then the concerns of having 4 new major credit cards on my account in which I did NOT know anything about. Now I have to wait 4-6 to have a reply from them. Now how do I get my F###### power turned on people.
Experian is unfair and the do it purposely
This is the worst company every. Had filed bankruptcy do to medical. I am disabled.
I seen all the red marks on my credit report which of course I was never late on anything. I just seen writing on wall. I spent 2 years correcting the mistakes. Once I got it done and released my lawyer. 2 years to the month Experian put it on back on my credit with the closed accounts 2 years old. This drop my credit 20 points. Now I can not go back and correct because they say I already disputed that already. I will be filing a complaint with the FTC, BBB and CFPB. This company needs to be replaced!!!!!!!!!!!!

This experience is all about building up your credit profile, which I've been working on for about three (3) years. Well on the 12th on February 2021, my FICO score finally made a Good rating at Experian, I was quite proud of my accomplishment. On the 19th of February I received an alert that my one credit card had decreased significantly to 0.0% and that my FICO score had decreased by 8 points, I could not understand how this could have happened; seeing that all my accounts were on time, credit usage below 5%, no collections and all credit cards with a zero (0) balance. I finally have a Good credit score with Experian and better scores with TransUnion and Equifax in the 700 range. How could I lose 8 points after gaining 5 points on 02/12/21 and gaining 32 points on 01/30/21, this has besides myself, after all my report is positive at this point, how in "Hell" could I lose 8 points when nothing has come in to Experian as negative or no recent inquiries! This is exactly why I "do not pay for an Experian membership", it's all about the money.

If I could I would rate minus 5, how can a so called specialist company that can have a major influence on your financial future always get your credit report so wrong.
It seems to me this is purposely done to try and get you to sign up to them for £14.99 a month subscription.
My credit history is brilliant so why my report states otherwise makes absolutely no sense when on the other major reference sites my credit history is brilliant.
Seems like a scam and urgently needs looking into, this has major implications on people's lives, sort it out experion
Better than the other two
I find Experian to be the easiest to navigate of any of the credit bureaus. There free service offers more than enough to figure out what's going on with your credit score and make steps to change it. Super easy to change any wrong details on your credit report as well like addresses you never lived at or phone numbers never had. All around Experian as a million times better than TransUnion or Equifax. TransUnion's website is the least user-friendly website I think that exists. They make it impossible to change any of your information easily and they also keep redirecting you to different websites where you have to keep making different accounts and you don't know what sites you have accounts on and what you don't have accounts on. They also never update you on any disputes until they mail you the results which could be anytime in the next few months after making the dispute. Experian much better.

The whole Credit Bureau system is itself a low scorer based on their own standards! Who rates the 3 bureaus, Experian, Equifax, and Transunion? Who grades these entities and ensures they themselves are operating at the same expectation levels they require us to meet throughout our lives? Who again by their own standards, would fail miserably! Special emphasis on Equifax, and their customer service alone, 80% of time is sub-par at best and their services, of which none of us request, where they attempt to score us on an unofficial, calculation of pluses and minuses that only they understand, If at all. Have you ever wondered why those great strides of multiple on time payments you make or that loan you paid off positives, very slowly effect your score upwards but forget by mistake one payment on an account on an otherwise 99% paid on time record, that same score immediately descends some 65 points!! That is not by accident. Nevertheless this service is forced upon all of us where we are graded upon this unverified, underperforming, excessively confusing and profit based service throughout our lives. Depending on that score, we are effected greatly in one way or another. This score, where all three bureaus collectively, make up a Fico score is severely flawed. Whereby their biased and negative driven business practice makes it a positive for their bottom line when they can inflict that negative reading based on there contradicting standards of score calculations made upon us every 30 days. This will eventually effect each and everyone of us at some point during our lifelong credit journey. They start to profit when you incur a negative to that ever important credit score. How? At times when at some point or another, we will suffer the consequences of a less then good credit score, whereby we may seek out one of many options that benefit the profit producing score keepers. Perhaps one of their credit consolidation or credit building profit inspired programs. This should be outlawed! If this must be a service put upon everyone of us regardless of whether we ask for it or not, it should at least be headed by non profit organizations. Who poses only a neutral interest in our position, in our lifelong credit journey. Otherwise, at its core, it is an unethical business working against all of us and at an egregious conflict of interest. This does not serve our best interest. A service, in which plays such a major part in the quality of our lives we live, through out our whole lifetime, that also profits on the demise of ones misfortunes and preys on their inability to keep and maintain a high credit score. It’s a service mandate that again, works against us in the worst way and at all costs, literally. This definitely needs reform as they are absolutely, in no position, to grade us given there own outrageous lack of plausible service standards within their own establishments.

Unable to register for experian complimentary identity plus subscription
A company sent me an email few weeks ago regarding an illegal unauthorised access to their network so they gave their customers an activation code for complimentary identity plus subscription. I've tried to register for experian complimentary identity plus subscription but unable to do. At the end of registration process there's an error message. I've spoken to experian few times in the last few days but they couldn't resolve this issue. I've realised that there are untrained people working at experian and they totally ignore you if they are unable to fix any issue. Not sure what to do now.

This company makes it very hard to complain about wrong information on their site. Once this is all over Virus .the Ombudsman should close this company for criminal behaviour and prosecute all their Senior management

So proud of the diabolical customer service they give their customers! I don't get it - they don't publish their phone number, when you find it their automated 'service' doesn't work, their 'save your credit report' doesn't work. They then lie to their customers blaming GDPR for refusing to help and email the credit reports out. Staggeringly unhelpful.
