Placed an order on 4/11, Products not received, no response to my emails, Forget about phoning them as they do not answer. They are quick enough to take your money & then you are on your own !!. Im surprised their rating is as high as 1.7, this company is a joke. Do not risk losing your money buying from these people, check other reviews as this is what they do.

they do not take EU viewers / customers very seriously. Since jan 2025 all orders are labeled wrong with Duty Unpaid which means we have to pay customs clearance before we can receive our orders. Time in time again they promised and assure the problem is solved. So I ordered a few items during birthday week ... but the bills to pay customs clearance bills keep coming.
They are more focused on USA which I can understand but than do not sell to EU countries. Nor Sara nor Diane is capable of of taking care of this issue, no statement no explanation for EU fans, no solution nothing. The customer service is amazing, small team and they do what they can but solving the problem ; no they cannot . They refund orders they refund th customs clearance bills when I ask for but the problem should be solved in the first place : work together with a courier who is able to label and dispatch with DUTY paid on the parcels. But well I am going to save an awful lot of money especially from jan 1st 2026 with the new eu rules.... so I understand why they do not bother eu.
and now they say to USA they are not selling items which are not in stock... but they keep selling things which are not in stock for UK and Eu and rest of the world ? confusing mails.

Ordered gemini maxi at the point of ordering said 2^3 days saw no progress emailed about the order several times no response will. not ve using ever again lucky used PayPal so going to put in dispute qui k enough to take your money

I signed up for their emails which offered a 20% discount on my first order. I got a welcome email but no discount code 🤔. I've had emails saying I've left something in my basket (and that's exactly where it will stay until I get my code), I've had emails showing me other things. I've suddenly received emails into my spam folder from various scammers. All within 24hours. What I haven't had is an email with a discount code or a reply to my email asking where it is.
I'd give 0 stars if that were possible...

I would give zero if I could. I ordered an item 12 days ago and of course they took my money. I’ve heard not a word from them since. No delivery date - nothing !! I rang yesterday and was told they would let me know via email - no email !! I rang again today and girl was very rude and said as it was only day 7 of their 5 - 7 day time frame to get orders out and I was being picky !!!!! Excuse me, but if I’ve paid for something then I expect it pretty quick, and if CC can’t get it out quickly then the most honest and truthful thing to do is to tell people. They still can’t tell me when it’s coming and surprise-surprise I can’t cancel the order either as it is now in “picking”. No wonder Sara Davies is a multi millionaire. I’m shocked and angry and I will NEVER EVER buy any CC item again, either from them direct, or anywhere else either. I will also advise friends in our craft club not to buy their products either. The customer service is non existent and Sara Davies should be disgusted with herself.

I placed an order with a segment on hobbymaker, 7th Sept, ordering the 'epic' pen bundle. The crafters companion demonstrator did say the were moving warehouses and that's why they had such great deals. We know that it can take up to 10 days for delivery but after 15 working days I was getting concerned as it was to be a gift, I initially emailed hobbymaker, then emailed Crafters Companion on the 25th sept, they finally replied on 1st Oct, the apology was pointless has I still had not recieved my order, they stated the warehouse was Closed from 22nd Aug to 12th Sept. NO orders where being packed or shipped and that's why there are delays! I sent back a disapointed reply. I then recieved a 2nd reply, blaming Hobbmaker for not mentioning the delays.
Why didn't the demonstrator who works for Crafters companion be honest and say that the warehouse was closed and there would be delays in deliveries..
That is idiotic to close up totally, and not process and dispatch orders for such a time period, but still keep on selling large quantities of stock on hobbymaker, and the back log of orders gets bigger
It has now been 22 working days, with no parcel being delivered. Still waiting!

Sadly I can't review the product as it hasn't arrived. The book was out for delivery on 27th September and still hasn't arrived on 7th October! Customer service is very poor and keep fob me off. I had to remind them my sales contract is with them and not the courier but they are not interested. I will not purchase from them again until the customer service and delivery reviews improve.

Placed order on the 30th of July pre order.Had a email and tracking no on the 18th of August saying order on the way. It's now 25th of September have not received order Do they take orders and your money but do not have stock to fulfill them.

No one has turned to deliver the stair lift, a delivery time and date was given. Supposed to have installation tomorrow. Not very good customer service once the deposit is paid. Been waiting all day, no call to say they're not coming. Disappointed for my mum who needs the stair lift.

Beware - the £1 sale they have is a complete con. They know that people won't just buy an item for a £1 but will have a look around and buy other stuff at the same time, which is exactly what I did. It took 10 days for the package to arrive and lo and behold the £1 item wasn't in there. There was no explanation but the payment they took had included it. Having just called I have been told that they sold out because so many people were buying it. The system supposedly updates every couple of minutes re what people are ordering but the lady I spoke to said they have had other unhappy callers like me who have been told their item wasn't available even though their order was accepted. If they know the system can't cope with high volumes in a £1 sale then they shouldn't offer the goods in that way. To add insult to injury the lady I spoke to admitted I wasn't on the list to be given a refund (yes I know it was only a £1). That could be a nice little earner couldn't it if lots of people think oh well it was just £1 so I'll let it go. The lady I spoke to was very apologetic and is now refunding me the £1 and also the postage I paid for the order for which I am grateful. In my opinion Sarah Davies is spreading herself far too thinly in her seeming desperation to redeem her company. Customer service is clearly not on her agenda anymore as she takes over every available crafting arena in her quest. I shall be giving CC a miss in the future.

I had a problem with my Gemini ll. The plates and cutting die were jammed in the machine. I rang customer service , they arranged for the machine to be collected and returned on a date and time convenient for me. In around a couple of weeks my Gemini was returned fully repaired with my alphabet cutting die and full set of brand new plates included. Much to my delight,there was also a lovely pink case to hold the plates. The case alone costs £20, the set of plates are around £50 I was so excited to find these expensive items added to my machine. I am on a very tight budget and to buy my Gemini ll was large purchase for me. Thank you so much CC . From the moment I rang their customer service, I've had nothing but polite and courteous service . The lady at the other end of the phone was lovely ........I have no complaints there. I have purchased many other items from this company and never had a problem with anything. I would like to see the cutting plates modified in some kind of way. They warp so quickly.

Really disappointed with quality of light box and lengthy delivery. Sara promised that items bought on 16th June would arrive by 20th. Item finally arrived on 23rd and was faulty- doesn't light all the way across. Quite flimsy. Told I have to pay for return postage. Poor customer service and to add insult ti injury its cheaper on Amazon than buying direct. will not be buying from CC again.

Awful customer service. I order the Crafter's Companion Shimmer Spray and one arrived and did not spray.
They asked me to then get some more bottles to fill with water to try and clean the product. I could not believe that I purchase something brand new, receive it and then I am being asked to try and fix it my side.
I was expecting they would just send out a replacement!
It is like ordering a cardigan, it coming with a hole in and the company ask you to go get some thread and a needle and fix it!

Two or three years ago I purchased a downloadable paper pack - lovely Xmas papers. Totally forgot about them and when I remembered I couldn’t find any mention on my account or website.
I contacted customer services who told me that the website was being updated and that a new downloadable items section was being prepared by their programmers - she would let me know when ready and link me to my particular paper pad.
Unfortunately this wasn’t possible but Julia Rowlson took the time to email every page as jpegs - not a quick option.
I cannot tell you how pleased I was to get my Christmas design paper and how grateful I was to Julia for the extra effort she put in to doing this for me.
This level of customer service is not the ‘have a nice day’ kind but is exceptional, thoughtful and above and beyond today’s norm.

Appalling over 2 months ago I purchased brand new Gemini Junior. 1st go the plastic plates broke. I contacted Crafters Companion and was given a credit note to spend when replacements come in. Just hefn told can be quite a few months for them to come so I have a brand new machine that is useless because it cannot be used. Will certainly think again about buying anything else of crafters companion. What has happened to this company they are getting worse. I used to buy their products all the time.

Telephoned to see if “priority dispatch/delivery” was an option making it clear that certain items would only be ordered if they would arrive in next couple of days. I was told to go ahead - if it wasn’t dispatched Friday, it would be Monday. Well. No movement…

Really don’t understand the dispatch process where ever other supplier can offer expedited for a premium. Not like I was expecting it for free. But I also don’t expect an unknown delivery timescale for the volume of the order.

This is my second review on this company, and the products they sell on the Hobbymaker website specifically with Sarah Davis. She makes it sound as though you are getting an absolute bargain with all these packages of craft items that are unbelievably cheap. No surprise there then that the die folders are all very nice but you can’t get the inserts for them anymore anywhere. Absolutely bloody useless! Most of the other bits and pieces that arrived in my package are all cheap rubbish that I would not use to be honest. Hobby Maker channel themselves are pretty useless as they send emails telling you they look forward to receiving your new jewelry! Clearly they are part of the Gemporia group which is also useless. Avoid like the plague cos if it sounds too good to be true, it is!

I was tempted by the 20% off your first order offer so built up a healthy basket. This code did not work . I will not be using them. This is not an honest way to run a business. Plenty of other companies around.

Totally trusted, small warehouse in the north east, so sometimes slight delay to delivery but wonderful customer service and items.

The ' Birthday Event ' with free postage and all orders will be emalgamated, then sent on 28th October, was the speel, with free postage as the real ' bonus ' It's a disgrace that they weren't transparent , as they didn't actually have stock for so many items. I am convinced that's why they gave that date thinking everything will be in stock in 2 weeks. They ended up with egg on their face, extremely unhappy customers and many like myself requesting refunds after placing orders during the event, with no sign of items in stock. They should have stated preorders, as honesty is the best policy. I have spent so much money with this company as a new crafter, however I'll look elsewhere first In future for a company that's honest and can deliver what I order in a reasonable time. Very unhappy with how crafters companion, handled this situation.
