Compré un pase para la convención del 12-13/sept 2026 y luego unos extras de un actor. Unos meses después nos informaron que este actor cancelaba su presencia en la convención y que devolverían el dinero de los extras con fecha 29 de junio, si no era así, que les mandásemos un email. Después de varios emails, dicen que tienen problemas con el proveedor y que esperan solucionarlo, y que tengamos paciencia. Nada formales. Nos son fiables. Aun no he recibido el dinero.

My daughter paid for a stand and they have moved the location last minute which is too far away ...
They are ignoring any messages and will not refund for this event .
Please steer clear of this company they are also not refunding guests for photo ops ..Legal action will be taken ...

This company is zeros stars. Absolute shambles with refunding customers for a guest who cancelled their appearance at a convention they run. Customers were told on 20th May the guest had cancelled and took over 5 weeks to email me that my refund had been 'processed'. Two weeks later and still no money has been deposited. To make matters worse, they are deleting facebook comments from customers querying their refund after almost 2 months the guest cancelled

Comic con connections, previously Basingstoke comic con, is a joke towards helping the people attending their event. Their communication with attendees is appalling, and they’re extremely unprofessional when it comes to discussing important issues with people. It isn’t surprising that it has had to rebrand, as I’ve noticed they’ve always been like this, terrible communication, unprepared planning, and extremely unprofessional when it comes down to helping others.

Of course, I haven’t yet been able to attend the event as Sebastian Stan cancelled, although I now realise I wouldn’t have wanted to. Only four months before the event intends to take place and they’ve already switched venues as the one they’d told people for the past year hadn’t even been booked! Their communication leading up to the cancellation of the guest was disgusting, they spoke unprofessionally, and made it clear that not even them themselves knew what was happening with the guest of their OWN event!

Finally, I do believe that this business and event is one large scam, as currently we’ve waited around a month or longer for refunds on Sebastian Stan and we’ve been left with nothing but ignorance. The comic con is ignoring all emails now, in hopes to tire us out so we no longer fight to have our own money back! We desperately need certain information from them so we can take it up with the bank about getting our money back, and still they won’t read the emails, they leave Instagram messages ignored on purpose, and they’re deleting others comments under their Facebook posts and blocking them! Unfortunately, soon most will take legal action. We don’t know if we will ever receive their money back from them, but I wanted everyone to read this to be warned, DO NOT TRUST THEM! They’re unreliable, unprofessional and a complete joke.

They don’t even deserve the one star for how shocking their communication has been. Right from the start they have been unprofessional and provided terrible customer service. I purchased the VIP ticket for Sebastian Stan despite my initial suspicions due to never hearing of this comic con. For months we heard nothing regarding updates, no other guests had been announced, even Sebastian Stan wasn’t officially announced which leads me to believe they never booked him in the first place. They were unprofessional in their responses, engaging in gossip about his personal life, all without providing any actual update or even evidence to support that he was still attending. Fast forward to May and here comes the cancellation post, which again, seemed very unprofessional. I’ve been awaiting my refund ever since, it’s been two weeks without any update. They’ve been blocking anyone that brings it up or asks for the ARN to be able to contact their banks. Well, today, I contacted mine and they informed me that there is no refund being processed. They have blatantly lied about sending out refunds and I am now having to raise a dispute against them. They need shutting down and investigating because who knows how many people they have scammed, should drop the ‘comic’ from their name and change it to con connections.

Terrible organisation and communication skills, plus delaying the announcement of important changes to lineups and even as far as changing the venue!

If you are due a refund, you will find it easier to go the chargeback route. KTEG LTD, who are behind the con, have had two other failed events much like this one, including outright lies about guests cancelling and delaying refunds.

You can find all of this through their main means of communication, which is sadly Facebook. You will also find them blocking customers and deleting comments.

Do not give this company a penny. Do not believe a word they say. Agents do not book. Vendors do not book.

The worst communication from an event I’ve ever known!!

Trading at Basingstoke last year and they put the traders in a small room separate from the con with no signage or anything to say where we were … then the organiser hand wrote the smallest sign and blue tacked it up 🙈 VERY unprofessional … I didn’t have a good time.

The emails came around after the event saying they’d learned a lesson and listened to feedback from traders and public and had changed the location room of traders for the 2026 event and were could get a discount for rebooking. Foolishly, I thought hey, why not 🤷🏼‍♀️ they’ve obviously listened which is good.

Now I find out a couple of months before the event (via a social media post) that they’ve moved the venue now to Winchester. Again, very foolishly, I’ve booked a non refundable hotel in Newbury 😭 (lesson learned) I’ve contacted the organiser several times to ask to cancel my table and for a full refund and they haven’t responded once. He said some sob story about taking pain killers on social media affecting his head space (which I absolutely understand more than most) but if that’s your state of mind you shouldn’t be running an event!!

I’d like a refund for my traders table asap.

This comic con’s communication is absolutely appalling. I bought tickets in January for an accessible entry ticket and some tickets for Sebastian Stan. ( He obviously cancelled due to him
and Annabelle Wallis expecting their child together. To make it clear I don’t blame him and I’m wishing them the best with their family.)

They took all tickets for any guest off there in March without saying anything. Multiple people had to email them for them to decide that they should make a post about in social media. They claimed it was some type of payment issue but I’d assume most of us believed they’d cancelled the whole event.

Sebastian Stan’s tickets didn’t go back on because there were doubts that he’d still be attending. This was all towards the end of April when they’d give us this update after guests being down for a month. They claimed they didn’t get an update back from Sebastian Stan’s agent until the end of May. This was quite a while after he’d publicly announced her pregnancy of their child together and with the lies they’ve told in the past I’m not convinced this was the first time they’d heard anything. They also said that because of the Sebastian Stan situation they weren’t announcing any new guests but they apparently had multiple contracts ready to go so they’d have a reason to drag this all out too.

We were told that we’d get refunds within 10 - 15 business days of this email which is pretty ridiculous to have such a long time scale and then not communicate any further. We were told we’d get an email but found in the comments they said some of us would get an email because when purchased we didn’t give the comic con permission to email us. They made one reply in the comments stating this and didn’t think to make post for everyone to see because they clearly knew some of us wouldn’t be informed.

After that, we just had to wait during this time no new guests were announced. It seems weird as the person running the social media won’t also be issuing every single refund. It’s also June 21 and the comic con is supposed to be in September. I know you’re not supposed to buy tickets just for guest but there’s a lot that do so you’d think they’d have announced these supposed 8 contracts by now. Anyway, there was still no refund on the 21st of June with no more contact from the comic con. I reached out again a for like 5th time through the contact form and their email. Then finally, 10 minutes after my email and form, they send me an email confirming my refund which they clearly saw these emails this time as I’m also being refund for my entry ticket which weren’t going to do.

So, no refund yet but I have confirmation email of one which is a start. I shouldn’t have to contact that many times in order to get a refund from them though. Them not posting anything or reply to emails during this time when those tickets cost £175 each is ridiculous. Obviously, most of us are gonna be worried that’s a lot of money especially when you’ve bought multiple tickets.

Back to the entry tickets, they had refused to refund entry tickets and made that clear in a reply on one of the earlier posts. However, in my email I made it clear I wanted a refund due to them deciding a little under 3 months until their comic con they’d change the venue. They made no post and no email about this they just changed it on their website to 30miles away from the original venue.

There were suspicions that they’d never confirmed the original venue as that website had another event scheduled on the date this one was. This change in venue seems to confirm that which makes sense why the comic con never replied ti the comments calling this out. If this is true why on Earth would you be selling tickets without confirming the venue first?

The final thing is the accessibility ticket I had. You’re supposed to fill out a form before attending the event but you don’t receive a form after buying the ticket. I reached out to the accessibility email in January after purchasing and they told me the form would be with me in a few weeks. I reached in March as I still hadn’t been given a form. No response so I reached out again in April. It’s now June and I’m getting that ticket refunded due to the venue moving so it’s irrelevant but I never received an email back. It says on their website that you need to fill out a form if you an accessibility ticket to enter the event so wouldn’t have gained me entry. This email I was contacting was the one on their website designated to accessibility questions but they never responded to such an important issue.

Attending the 2 day event on 13th-14th September 2025, stand located in the marquee. The show was badly organised, no real signage, and although many staff no one knew anything. A tiny A board was situated on the path with writing say stalls and arrow but so small nobody could see it and for some reason covered the A board in tin foil?
Day two was a total wash out, the ground marquee was located on no provision had been made for rain. It became a soggy slippery mess which was dangerous to walk on. Electrics located directly behind my stand was not the outdoor type and sitting in a puddle of mud. The marquee leaked and my stock as well as others got ruined. The marquee by about 1pm became so slippery and wet it was no longer safe to access. There was no provison to make the ground safe implemented. The organisers told us we could leave early because maybe 50 people attended the show all day but wouldn't open the gates to load up meaning a lot of my stock got wet.
I tried contacting on social media but mine like others have been deleted which I think is very sad, because every business should accept the good with the bad and know what went wrong. All in all a shocking experience and will never attend another of their events.
