Poor experience - carpet fitting
Poor experience with this company. The fitters removed all our interior doors to fit carpets and did not re-hang them. They left the doors laying on the floor in the rooms, preventing us moving back into the rooms and scrabbling around on Google for a handyman to re-hang them. They claimed it was because they are "Not insured" to trim doors. This was AFTER this installation - at no point before were we prepared for any problems with the doors, despite an on-site survey/measure up and two lengthy consultations in the store where we were walked through (supposedly) every aspect of the installation. We paid a great sum of money for a complete turnkey installation - this is just not good enough. To make matters worse, the Manager didn't even show us the respect of apologising to us in person. In the end we were referred to the "small print" on the agreement we signed and told to go away. Disgraceful. Please avoid this unprofessional company and go to Carpetright instead, who *do* offer a complete service, including door re-trimming.
