We booked a 3 hrs private boat trip on Lanzarote with Club Canary and were directed to join David and his F40 catamaran. It was just amazing! We had more than enough space for 6 people and David ensured that we had our own time and sailed the catamaran with an incredible confidence. There were Ice Cubes, enough room for our drinks, even a toilet and a JBL Box was on board for us to use. We enjoyed every precious minute!

Club Canary buggy tour - Gran Canaria
We booked the buggy tour at Gran Canaria. The meeting point was near Puerto Rico harbor. At first we couldn't find the meeting point because the adress we got as meeting point was a restaurant, not the boat stand on the other side of the road where we actually had to meet. (There were quite some stands for boat excursions so it was unclear where to go) When we called we did get proper directions.
The buggy itself, the explanation on how to drive was very clear. But the seatbelt on the passenger side was loose/didn't retract properly and you almost had to put your foot through the buggy to brake. We also couldn't size one pair of glasses because that part was broken.
The driving itself was way too slow. We were driving 20-30 km/h on some tourist roads in the mountains. We understand that you have to slow down for pedestrians, but the route we drove was more like a walking area. And at places where you could drive faster the tour guide kept going slow. Also our tour guide was very busy on her phone during driving, slows down to 20 km/h. Not beneficial for the experience. We had to make some space between us and the guide just to have some short distances to get the speed and thrill we were looking for.
Would definitely NOT recommend this tour unless you want a calm, casual driving experience.

First of all, we would like to clarify that Club Canary does not operate the buggy tour itself. We are a booking platform working with local partners across the Canary Islands, offering over 175 experiences.
Most of the points you mention relate directly to the buggy tour itself, such as the vehicle condition, route, and guide. These are managed by the local operator. We have already shared your review with our partner so they can look into it.
Our partner informed us that this feedback was not raised on the day. They also explained that a large part of the tour is focused on sightseeing, which means driving through areas where speed is limited, including public roads and pedestrian zones. For safety reasons, this is part of how the tour is designed. They also confirmed that the buggies are generally well maintained.
That said, we do not want to turn this into a discussion here, as it would not be helpful for future readers.
After your excursion date, you also receive an email where you can leave a review directly on the activity page. Feedback there is especially helpful for future customers considering this specific tour, as it allows a more detailed response from the operator.
We do appreciate your comment regarding the meeting point. This is information provided by our partner, but we will review it from our side as well to make it clearer.

Great experience
The reservation process went quite smoothly, they were super responsive to our issues (I was unable to complete the payment on the first try). The communication afterwards was exceptional, we received all information in due time, we had no delays in pickup/return, and our overall experience was a great one.

A beautiful island to visit.
The process of booking was excellent as was the pick up but then we were dropped off just a ten minute walk from the ferry port and had to wait with many other clients for an hour on the pavement for another bus to take us to the ferry, why????
The trip around the island was as good as before as was the lunch, however, the whistling display was contrived. On past visits the whistlers actually used the language to communicate to each other to find a hidden item.
The guide worked hard to give information in many languages but it was really difficult to understand her unusual voice when speaking in English.

To clarify, you booked the economic La Gomera tour from Tenerife, which is our large-group ferry-based excursion: https://clubcanary.com/tenerife/to-la-gomera/. With all due respect, this is one of several La Gomera options available within our wide selection of activities. This particular version is designed as a larger group, value-focused excursion. On the same page, we also clearly recommend the smaller La Gomera tour option for guests who prefer a faster-paced experience with reduced waiting time and a more flexible structure.
This tour operates with early harbour arrival to prevent missed ferry departures. With ferry-based excursions, once a sailing is missed, the entire day is compromised for dozens of guests. For this reason, buffer time is built into the schedule. In addition, harbour coordination sometimes requires early arrival for safety, traffic control, or group management reasons. If this had been clearly explained by the guide on the day, it may have felt more understandable. Guests are always welcome to ask the guide for clarification during the excursion, and they should provide an explanation on site.
The pickup service provided is a free optional service designed to help guests reach the harbour comfortably and on time. It is not a paid upgrade and is not considered part of the core excursion itself. Guests are also free to make their own way to the harbour if preferred.
Regarding the review placement: As previously explained, Trustpilot reflects the booking service provided by Club Canary as a platform. We offer over 150 different activities across all Canary Islands. Feedback relating to specific operational elements of one individual excursion, such as the whistling demonstration or guide style, is most helpful for future travellers when placed directly on the product page of that excursion.
We kindly suggested this to ensure clarity for future clients. However, we respect your decision not to adjust your review.
We understand that this particular experience did not meet your expectations compared to previous visits. That is unfortunate, and we have forwarded your feedback to the operating company for internal review.

We understand that this situation was disappointing, and we sincerely regret that we were unable to provide the chairs.
However, for clarity, your booking was made after mid-January. For an event of this scale, this is considered late. Pre-sales for reserved Carnival seating began more than 8 months in advance, and most seats were allocated well before January.
Reserved seating for the Coso Apoteosis parade is strictly limited and controlled by the local authorities, not by Club Canary. Seats are allocated based on booking date. When final availability confirmed by the authorities is lower than overall demand, later bookings unfortunately cannot be fulfilled.
In such cases, we issue a full refund. Which we did.
The possibility of allocation changes is clearly explained on the booking page and in our Terms and Conditions prior to purchase.
We waited until final confirmation from the organizers before notifying affected guests, as we were still attempting to secure additional seats through cancellations and adjustments. Unfortunately, availability did not increase.
It is also important for readers to understand that Tenerife Carnival is a massive public festival enjoyed by tens of thousands of visitors, with or without reserved seating. The event itself was never cancelled.
We regret that you feel dissatisfied. However, when a full refund is issued immediately due to government-controlled capacity limitations, this does not reflect unreliability, but rather the reality of managing one of Europe’s largest public festivals.
We still hope you enjoyed Carnival and your time in Tenerife.

The good advise and perfect communication (in Dutch and English) was a welcoming experience!
We made a bus-tour on La Gomera. Including pickup and boattransfer from Tenerife. The trip itself was organized by the company Nere Izerdie, located on Tenerife. We were not happy with the tour itself and I mentioned that in a prior review, blaming Club Canary Tours falsly. My apologies for that!

Per quanto riguarda il rientro in autobus, confermiamo che il venerdì l’autobus parte alle 17:00 e arriva indicativamente verso le 18:30, come indicato anche sulla nostra pagina del servizio bus. Detto questo, comprendiamo perfettamente che eventuali ritardi possano essere fastidiosi e ci dispiace per l’inconveniente.
Ci teniamo anche a precisare che il servizio di trasferimento è offerto per rendere la prenotazione più semplice per chi desidera prenotare tutto in un’unica soluzione. Tuttavia, il servizio non è gestito direttamente da Club Canary. Inoltre, il traffico sull’isola può essere imprevedibile, soprattutto nelle ore di punta, e questo può purtroppo causare ritardi.

The whole trip was a complete mess
The whole trip was a complete mess. The tapas, bought at a cheap supermarket, were disgusting. Despite the clear sky, there was barely anything to see. We've been waiting for two days for the photo the guy who supposedly was a guide was supposed to send. I don't recommend it; there are much better tours.

It’s possible this review was meant for another company. On our website, you can compare a wide range of trips and choose exactly which experience you’d like to book. If you wish to leave a review, it should relate to our customer service or the activity you booked through us, not unrelated experiences.
If you did book through Club Canary, it would make much more sense to share your feedback directly on the activity page to help other tourists. We also noticed this same review was posted on our TripAdvisor page, which adds to the confusion.
Cool experience, lovely dolphins
When we arrived at Morro Jable harbour, we received a WhatsApp with the exact locatie, where our guide was waiting, very helpfull! We left on time and they had contact with other boats which had already spotted Dolphins, so he went straight there. It where big waves so on the way there he didn't go to fast to avoid becoming wet, but some waves hit our Boat and the group in front, us too, got pretty wet, what was very funny. Then when we arrived with the other boats there was a couple of 2 mature Dolphin with a young Dolphin, so cool to watch, they were swimming around the boats en we did see then many times. The trip was 1.5 hours official but the captain made it 2 full hours an back to the harbour with the waves behind us he did a demonstration of the speed of the Boat, very cool. We loved it!

Our experience on our private luxury motor yacht trip was nothing short of exceptional. Martin and his crew were amazing and so kind. They made us feel so at ease and were so welcoming. Great office sevice
We went to the office in person in Plaza de Douqe, and the young officer who advised us on which programme to choose was really helpful, polite, understanding and felxible. We were a lot, and wanted to pay separately, and he had no problem with it. We were also a bit overwhelming I think, and he was polite and pleasant to us during the whole time we spent in the office. He even sent a follow up email, and an offer we were undecided about, and didn't make a fuss about us rejecting the offer. Perfect service, great customer relations, I recommend Club Canary to everyone.
