BEWARE - be very, very sure of your order
BEWARE - they say the give you 30 minutes to cancel, but I don't think it's true. Then when the order has not even shipped yet, they make it impossible to cancel or even make a modest price adjustment. I used to like Clinique, but remembering this experience will now make me growl every time I see the product or pass their counters. They just lost a life long customer.

Deplorable customer service
Attempted to cancel the order within the first 30 minutes which an according to their confirmation email is an option.After 4 attempts contacting customer service and over 2 hours trying to resolve the issue, the order has not been cancelled more than 48 hours later. I attempt to send email and get an auto response. Absolutely deplorable customer service. Shame on you Clinique. You used to be a brand that could be trusted, not anymore. If I could give a zero rating, I would.

product burned my face and they refuse to refund......
bought 2 neck and face creams, used one and face peeled significantly, contacted Clinique they asked for photos, provided, they apologised, I asked to return to 2 jars (£75 each) they ignored the email, chased again and they asked for batch numbers, Asked to raise a complaint twice they ignored. Spent over £300 last month and they just keep ignoring me. They refuse to raise a formal complaint or allow me to return the 2 jars (one unopened and 1 used 3 times so basically full). NO option but to contact the financial ombudsman for a refund. My advice is to use an organisation who cares about their products and clients such as Medik8

Ordered products. Recieved notification from bank that credit card was charged. Recieved no email. If my phone had not saved the account information for the site, I would of thought I used a false site. Neither the chat or phone rep could find a record for my order. (They were polite and tried to help.)
I have a pending charge on my credit card. I will make another call to my bank to cancel charge. Horrible onsite ordering system.

They steal your loyalty points.
Every year they steal your hard-earned loyalty points on the anniversary of signing up. So, say you join on Jan 1st and then on December 29th the same year you spend £200, all the points you earn for that purchase will be deleted on Jan 1st. It's a complete scam. Why not just say that all points must be spent within 12 months of being awarded?

Twice EVRI delivery has left my Clinique order at the wrong address. Clinique customer service helpline was extremely helpful and immediately re-sent my order with no qualms or issues. Cannot fault the service...and the products. 10 out of 10.

The website is impossible to navigate. Although I have signed in the site isn’t recognising that I have therefore won’t let me view or use my tier 2 points. Customer service ‘chat’ is useless. I have spent huge amounts of money with Clinique. I will be researching other products if things don’t improve very quickly

I have used clinique aromatics for many years love it. Bought 100ml from the Perfume shop £97.00 like water almost no smell although usually very heavy perfume,retuned and was given replacment (assured it was not fake) same,rang Clinique they said number on box was one of theirs but that could be faked as well? They promoted a free gift set and did not deliver.
Clinique advertised on their webpage an offer of spend $90 get a free gift. After I placed the order and received the order confirmation I saw the free gift pack was not included. When I chatted with them online - they said sorry, that offer finished the day before. I said that I purchased the products I did to get the offer (one more than I needed) and they said sorry it was for a previous day. WT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I asked for a refund and to cancel my order. He said they could not, I had to wait to receive my order then I needed to pay to send it back to them to get it cancelled. Seriously!!!! Any other business would have honoured it - fraudulent activity I say, with false advertising

Placed my usual order from Clinique on 20 august 23 , never had a problem before with delivery but this time never received it , normally takes 2 to 3 days. Have tried to contact Clinique 3 times and each time have been told by a chatbot to wait so many more working days. I know I am being fobbed off and their customer service is absolutely disgusting. It’s frustrating enough to lose 26 pound but not even to get a decent response is just not on. Love the moisturiser but as a matter of principle will not use it ever again even from another site as I feel Clinique do not deserve any loyalty.

Good product, worst customer service
Worst customer service ever. All I wanted was for my parcels to not require a signature on delivery since I live in a rural location and have a parcel box, but I got a lot of "we don't do that" and basic computer says no rubbish. They've lost a customer since other companies will deliver their products straight to the parcel box.

No seal, no box on birthday gifts
Clinique is a great product, and I've been using it for many years in a different country. I've recently come to Canada for a year and placed an order for some products on clinique.ca. As a delightful surprise, I received a birthday gift along with my order. However, I noticed that the product arrived without a box (which I assume is to prevent resale), and it also lacked a seal. The Moisture Surge Overnight Mask is truly remarkable, considering it can be used for up to 24 months after opening. I'm concerned about the absence of a seal; does this mean the product might have been open for 25 months? Can I still count on its quality being guaranteed?
Ideally, clinique.ca should include a note informing customers that all birthday gift products will be both unsealed and unboxed. This transparency would greatly help customers understand the packaging process."

I tried to order the clinique body smoother and its not available . I bought the body wash and perfume and the scent has changed alot . Same package but a different smell . Why would you change this scent when its a top seller. My friends and I are very disappointed as we have used this for years . Please bring the old scent back !!!! I want an answer why this has happened and if you have plans to return this item back to the original scent . So upset that I cant buy it anymore .

Horrible experience ever.
On July 12th, I bought two items on their online Facebook website. Got the confirmation code and everything on the receipt, so everything's fine. At first, I thought those items have very reasonable prices and then I came to realize that a week later I received a notice from my bank that it took out another purchase, even though I have already paid in the first place so I don't understand. Why should I have to pay twice for the same items when I have paid it once? I've already cancelled my order and got my refund back right away because I was upset with my purchase experience. Don't trust anything you buy on social media platforms like Facebook, for example. They're trying to scam you and take money out of your bank thinking you wouldn't even notice. Clinique, why don't you fix the problem before other people fall into your trap? Or better yet, just shut down your website page.

Well, I wish I'd have read these reviews before placing my online order! I have tried the "live" chat many times over the last week and it's never available during the times it's meant to be. So I moved over to sending them a whatsapp on Friday. Got automated message saying whatsapp was closed and to message back when they are open. I messaged on Saturday during the "open" hours only to receive the same automated message saying they were closed and to message again when they are open. I messaged on Sunday during the "open" hours and yes, you guessed it, received an automated message saying they were closed and to message again when they were open. I've given up. This will be my first and last purchase from Clinique.

Al 6 jaar jaar klant van Clinique en altijd de bestellingen in orde ontvangen, tot dit jaar. In maart was een bestelling bij hun niet doorgekomen (had geen bevestigingsemail ontvangen) hoewel mijn geld was afgeschreven. Toen vrij snel opgelost. In juni 2023 heb ik weer een bestelling geplaats en geen bevestigingsemail ontvangen. Ik ben inmiddels een maand bezig om een reactie van hun te krijgen (1 keer kreeg ik de reacties dat al hun systemen plat lagen en de medewerker niks kon checken). Vandaag krijg ik eindelijk een reactie, dat volgens hun systeem mijn bestelling is geleverd. Alsof ik contact met hun had opgenomen als ik mijn bestelling had ontvangen. Ik hoop dat ik de bestelling of mijn geld nog krijg. Ben zeer teleurgesteld. Een nieuwe bestelling zal ik niet snel weer plaatsen.

Don’t ever purchase from them online. I have spent over £200 on the order has not been delivered to me in over a week. I’ve just contacted customer service nothing but not even as complimentary pay for speedy delivery now going to go on holiday with the packages arriving lost on the way And appalling customer service and a appalling delivery service.
What a joke is Clinique have said get in touch with them so that I can you help me. With my unfortunate experience. I did contact customer service to which I did absolutely nothing. As I said in my first review I did not even offer to upgrade my postage and packing to next day delivery, which Would have sorted the problem

I’ve given 1 star because if there’d been a facility to give zero stars I would have! Placed an order on 14th July and still waiting for it!!! Went into the company online sales page to join the webchat (which turns out to be an autobot) does not get
you any further regarding deliveries and when you ring customer service they just reference you back to the webchat on their site, so all in all nobody wants to help at all in reality
So all in all, even if you want to speak with someone to complain to, in essence you simply cannot
I thought I’d experienced the worst customer service last November with Jo Malone, however, Clinique have by far surpassed them on that score!!!!!
DO NOT BUY ONLINE!!!! You don’t stand a chance
I know the autobot will give an auto reply to this but, it’s the days of hassle thereafter too
