Clinique blijft in gebreke en pakt fout niet op
Op 20/6 heb ik een bestelling gedaan van meer dan 85 euro, vooruitbetaald via iDEAL.
Vanaf het moment van verzenden op 24/06 was duidelijk dat er iets mis was gegaan: het verzendlabel was (door Clinique)niet goed aangemaakt met een ongeldige track and trace code. Mijn pakket is daardoor vermoedelijk nooit verzonden, al bleven de kalntendienstmedewerkers in eerste instantie steeds beweren dat het (inmiddels 2 weken) nog onderweg was. Volgens de technische afdeling van UPS kan een pakket zonder geldige code het proces niet in en is het niet traceerbaar, zonder een juiste code kunnen zij er niets mee. Een track en trace code bevat meer cijfers en ook enkele letters dan de onbruikbare code die om onduidelijke redenen aan mijn pakket is toegekend. Klikken op de code geeft vanaf het begin alleen maar foutmeldingen. Van UPS heb ik (itt eerdere bestellingen) over deze bestelling ook nooit mails ontvangen.
Zo’n 7 keer gechat met steeds een andere klantenservicemedewerker, die het zouden doorzetten naar het ‘juiste team’ en dan zou ik snel iets horen. Inmiddels bijna 3 weken verder en geen reactie en bij opnieuw contact onzinnige antwoorden en adviezen of zoals vandaag ook na een uur wachten helemaal geen reactie.
Ben jaren trouwe klant geweest, maar dit is ver onder de maat!
De klantenservice is een aanfluiting.
Klachtenprocedure is onvindbaar, of moet via diezelfde klantenservice waar je het eerste half uur sowieso tot niemand doordringt. En vandaag uiteindelijk pas na ruim een uur.
CLinique blijkt niet aangesloten bij een branche-organisatie of bij een webkeurmerk.
Mijn eis is heel eenvoudig dat mijn pakket opnieuw wordt verzonden zoals overeengekomen en waarvoor door mij is betaald, de fout ligt overduidelijk bij CLinique zelf en zij zijn volgens het consumentenrecht Verplicht hun fout zo snel mogelijk recht te zetten .

Het merk is wel goed, geen bestelling meer via de site.

Je trouve que c'est honteux pour une marque comme clinique et je tiens à signaler cette arnaque car 90 euros de commande ça n'est pas rien !

Bij de bestelling komt niet het gratis cadeau te voorschijn.
Volgens de klantenservice was er een probleem met de website en moest het een paar uur later nog maar eens proberen.
Heb net voor middernacht de bestelling gedaan om niet de korting mis te lopen maar nog steeds geen cadeau.
Heb de dag erna weer een zelfde email gehad met deze aanbieding en heb om te kijken of het inmiddels wel werkte weer een bestelling ingevoerd. Nog steeds geen cadeau.
De volgende dag weer dezelfde email.
Marketing truuk?
Heb weer contact opgenomen met de klantenservice. Ze chatte nu, als het er niet bij staat is het op. Op de eerste ochtend al? Waarom gaven de eerdere 2 klantenservice medewerkers dan andere antwoorden? Tevreden over de producten maar zeer ontevreden over de klantenservice (met name over Diana).

When my purchase arrived it did NOT include the bonus gift products. When I called to complain about a week later and spoke to a representative he told me they ran out. Interesting that I received an email today only a few days after my complaint where they are still offering the Clinque bonus. I will no longer purchase their products.

Ordered a loose powder on the Canadian website. UPS delivered it to the wrong door, my package was missing and they closed my claim stating there was proof of delivery. The proof was a photo of a door that was not my door number. What the hell.
I contacted customer service and vkumar2 promptly resent my order to fix the matter. I received the loose powder just in time as I was running out of my old one. In love with the Blended Face Powder! 💕

Krijg maar geen geld terug
Eerst een bestelling geplaats maar later geleverd, terwijl ik op vakantie was. Niet kunnen ophalen en teruggestuurd. Nu al vier keer contact gehad met de klantenservice maar nog geen geld terug.
Pakket nog een keer besteld, nu opeens miste de mascara, na weer contact met de klantenservice gehoord dat deze uitverkocht was maar ik heb er dus wel voor betaald.. En nu na nog 3 keer contact te hebben gehad van beide bestellingen nog steeds geen geld terug!

Stay away from ordering from this website. They do not stand behind their products. Their "free" gifts and "points" are a joke because if you order 6 items and need to return one, they want all the "gifts" back. They will not do an exchange, only returns and re-orders. When I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them, they finally agreed to send me new products, then they asked for so much personal information that I chose to forego receiving the products. They seem to be all about collecting as much personal information as possible and STILL do not stand behind their products, which are not nearly as good as they used to be.

Festa della mamma ,tanta pubblicità ma ingannevole, io ho ordinato subito all'inizio della promozione ,ma il kit regalo con le mini taglie non è arrivato, chiamando mi è stato detto che era finito. Quindi ti tentano a spendere di più ,ma sappiate che non arriva niente. A distanza di giorni vedo ancora la pubblicità....... quindi proprio pubblicità ingannevole.
Servizio clienti pessimo
Servizio clienti pessimo. Acquisto sul loro sito che si blocca subito dopo il pagamento. Non ricevo nè numero d'ordine e nè ovviamente mail di conferma.
Riesco dopo svariati tentativi, tramite chat, a spiegare la problematica e al 5° tentativo mi accordano il rimborso che però ancora non visualizzo sul mio conto.
Lì ricontatto e dopo aver rispiegato per l'ennesima volta tutta la storia mi indico che verrò ricontattata tramite mail. Azienda veramente caduta in basso.
Contradictory return policy and poor customer service
I want to share my recent experience with ordering from Clinique Canada’s online store, because the level of inconsistency and stalling from their customer service has been unacceptable.
I have been a long-time customer of Clinique products and usually purchased in-store, where I could test products before buying. Recently, after seeing frequent ads for their online shop, I decided to place an order through their Canadian website.
I purchased my usual products plus one additional item to try. The extra item was the cheapest product in the order (around $21), and I felt comfortable trying it because their website promotes returns.
After receiving the order, I tried the new item and found that it caused dryness and was not suitable for my skin. I contacted Clinique customer support to ask about the return process and specifically confirmed whether return shipping was free. Their online support agent clearly stated that return shipping was free of charge and that I did not need to return the promotional gifts.
I went to the post office with the original box, only to be told there was no return label and that I would need to pay for shipping myself.
Then I contacted customer support by phone. This time the agent said return shipping was not free. When I pointed out that their online support had already confirmed free return shipping, the agent claimed there was “no record” of that chat. Fortunately, I had screenshots of the conversation.
Once I mentioned screenshots, the story changed. The agent then said the case had to be “escalated” because the product caused dryness, and that a specialist team would contact me the same day. She gave me a case number, but only after I insisted that it be sent by email while I was still on the phone. I had to ask multiple times before the email was finally sent.
When I reviewed the email, I noticed that the return conditions had suddenly changed:
• the 30-day return period was now stated as starting from the purchase date instead of the delivery date,
• and the gifts we were previously told we could keep were now required to be returned.
No one ever contacted me that day as promised.
The following day I called again and was told once more that the “specialist team” needed to “investigate why the product caused dryness” before proceeding.
At this point, it feels like Clinique is deliberately making a simple $21 return as difficult and time-consuming as possible by:
• giving contradictory return information,
• denying prior chat conversations,
• changing return conditions after the fact,
• promising callbacks that never happen,
• and repeatedly escalating the issue without resolution.
This is not about the money anymore; it is about the principle.
A company of this size should be able to handle a straightforward return honestly and consistently. Instead, the experience has felt like a deliberate attempt to frustrate the customer until they give up.
I have screenshots of the original support chat confirming free return shipping, as well as the follow-up email where the terms were changed.
If this is how Clinique handles a basic online return, customers deserve to know before ordering.

I placed an order just yesterday with Clinique. The order has not been processed yet. Today I see where they have 25% off site wide. So I did an online chat to see if they would cancel my order and the I would reorder it with the 25% discount. Clinique would not honor my request. This is unacceptable to me. I am not a happy customer with Clinique right now.

Ho tentato di fare due acquisti, entrambe le transazioni autorizzate, peccato che quando devo essere reindirizzata al sito per avere conferma dell’ordine esce la schermata bianca e la scritta “page not found”. Nessuna risposta alle mail e la chat di assistenza sempre non disponibile.
Ho chiamato il servizio clienti per il primo ordine, facendo presente le problematiche e procederanno al rimborso, ho voluto fidarmi sbagliando dell’operatore ritentando un secondo acquisto ma ho sbagliato.
Se non riavrò entrambi i rimborsi procederò con una segnalazione e non acquisterò mai più da loro.

Terrible customer service and company
Terrible customer service and company! I’ve been a loyal customer for 30 years (the only products I use on my face and I purchase gifts for others in my life as well) and got ripped off for about $150 or more and they wouldn’t help me because it was past the 30 day. I emailed them two weeks after delivery (14 days) and received no response and then a week later (21 days) kept calling and their calling center was having issues because no calls were being picked up and I kept getting hung up on. So finally I got a hold of someone and they didn’t care or want to help so now I’m looking for a better company so if anyone has recommendations, please share!

peccato non aver controllato prima le recensioni prima di acquistare (cosa che faccio abitualmente quando compro su siti di e-commerce) ma trattandosi del sito ufficiale Clinique mai mi sarei aspettata un servizio così pessimo. Un ordine che visto doveva arrivare tramite Amazon lo trovo da ben 6gg fermo nei magazzini Clinique. Tramite chat con Clinique chiedo che fine abbia fatto mi rispondono che la spedizione è effettuata con DHL che invece dice che non gli sia stata ancora affidata. Chiamo telefonicamente e un addetta che risponde dalla Serbia un po seccata mi risponde che avrebbe chiesto all'ufficio spedizioni. Mi sorge il dubbio sulla serietà del sito e visto il servizio offerto mi viene pure il dubbio sulla qualità dei loro prodotti che si trovano comunque in vendita online a prezzi anche molto più competitivi.
