Difficult experience
I was in Innsbruck in Sept. 2024, and needed to store my small suitcase. Citylocker was very difficult to access, and it did not work me. No customer service available

The location of these lockers is outside the two rail stations Gare du Nord and Gare L’est. Even though not inside the train stations they are well located between both stations, easy to find. I only walked to from Gare du Nord, I had no stairs to manage.
One issue to be aware of is when you book on line you are allocated a locker with no information about which of the 3 levels it is on. Configuration is that there are 3 rows of lockers, the top row is about 1.5m high. You are not given an opportunity to ask for a locker at a specific level. When you arrive at the lockers there is no one on site to assist you, the whole site is self service. I am very petite, (about 1.5 m) I had one large and heavy case, and my allocated locker, (ironically number 13), was on the highest row. I called the emergency contact number provided and it requires you to leave a message in an emergency?! I did this and I did eventually get a WhatsApp message asking what the issue was. By then risking my own safety and leaving myself feeling quite unwell I had indeed managed to get the case into the locker (yes I am pretty stubborn).
I am not saying this service is poor, simply that it is a bit flawed. I’m sure it could be sorted by letting customers know at the booking stage which lockers are available, at what height they are, and letting the customer choose their locker, (and reading other comments possibly their pin also?). Then a customer could make an informed choice as to whether the locker is suitable for them.
This is NOT a secure facility. I ditched my booking after realising the locker codes are all identical except for the last number that corresponds with the locker as numbered. This means that anyone with the number of the door code can access your locker. Having realised this and subsequently researched other reviews that confirmed people's lockers were in use by others or had been evidently opened, I figured it would be safer to go elsewhere (having already paid). Wasted money. No means of cancelling. NOT peace of mind.
Update: City Locker has refunded with no quibble.
Perfectly placed between Nord and Est in Paris. Everything went according to plan. We could spend a few hours in paris without our heavy bags
„Our locker was open when we arrived. There was a sign that said: „don’t use it if the locker is already open.“ So we were insecure if we should use it and wanted to contact the number of city locker Paris. but when we called, it said that this number doesn’t exist. In the end we did not use it as went to the hotel as this whole company seemed a bit shady to us. It was also weird that only our locker was open. A real bummer as we lost time and money.“
I wrote this review on the official „verified reviews“ page and it got rejected for being inappropriate. I do not see why. Hence, another reason why I would not use the service anymore.
We booked a slot recently, while we didn't get a code and were waiting for about 15min in front of the room, our order got cancelled. Despite the high price, the money is still not refunded.
They let you book slots, hoping that someone might remove their luggage in time - while you wait in the cold just to realize that you have basically been scammed.
Besides, the 1.5k€ insurance is also pretty much a scam since any item that could have a potential value is added to a huge list of "prohibited items" in their terms of service - including the describtion "Goods".
So you better don't believe that your stuff is safe in any way further than the bit of physical barrier behind which it is stored.
Don't fall for this scam.
I went to the Gare du Nord / Gare de l'Est location, which is a nice short walk away from both stations (although from experience it's a quicker walk to Nord than Est). I paid €15 for 1 day, which is above what I wanted to, but the location and ease of use made up for it. You get given a unique code to open the door & locker which feels very secure. Just remember to type the leading and closing #s! The locker keypad struggles to keep up if you type fast, but it's not the end of the world.
Overall, 4.5/5!
