City Gate Twickenham is my local VW service centre. I’ve been going here for over 10 years. Easy to book appointments. Always receive great service from the friendly team there. Tom looked after me this time, explained how long it would take for the MOT and how to pay online making it a smooth process. Would highly recommend this branch.

I must say, I am very impressed by the efficient and friendly customer service team during my recent service at Kia Citygate Slough.
The service team were particularly good at keeping me informed and even managed to claim some parts under warranty, which saved some money.
I was especially impressed as the vehicle is 5 years old and I wasn't expecting any goodwill.

12 months ago, Citygate Watford carried out the MOT on my car. Pass with zero advisories. In January, when I took my car there for service I was told one of my tyres was illegal due to tread depth. Going from no advisory to illegal in a couple of months and around 1,500 miles seemed odd. I had a independent check and found the tyre was perfectly fine.
A relative of mine had exactly the same experience there with a fleet VW incidentally.
I told the staff that the tyre is fine and they apologised and said the report was a mistake. Despite this, the manager instructed a young lady to phone me and claim that police would only measure the most worn part of the tyre. That's simply not true, tread is measured across the width of the tyre.
That tyre is still on the car and it has just passed the MOT with zero advisories.
Citygate were not truthful with me (or my relative).
I recommend you avoid Citygate Watford, but if you do go there and they claim you have an illegal tyre, do NOT authorise them to fit a new one - get an independent check.
