Update - Unfortunately after ordering I realised the product was going to be too large!! Stupid me!! My own fault. I only read the length and not the other dimensions. Childrensalon were excellent. I sincerely apologised and they are sorting the issue out for me. You can trust this company. Don’t hesitate to buy from them.
Absolutely shocking experience….
I spent over £300 on a parcel that I never received, and Childrensalon has refused to take responsibility.
The parcel was allegedly delivered to someone called “Nicolas” — a person I have never heard of and who nobody in my building has been able to identify. I made enquiries with neighbours, and nobody has come forward as the recipient.
The so-called proof of delivery is nothing more than a photograph of a hand holding a parcel. There is no door number, no flat number, no building number, no entrance, and no identifying feature whatsoever that proves the parcel was delivered to my address.
What makes this even more frustrating is that this was not my first order with Childrensalon. They already had my correct delivery address and all my details saved on my account from previous successful orders. There was no new or incorrect address provided by me, so it is difficult to understand how they can simply rely on GPS data and claim the parcel was correctly delivered when there is no evidence that it reached me.
Despite this, Childrensalon considers the delivery successful and has refused both a refund and a replacement. Their only justification is GPS data showing that the driver was somewhere near the building. GPS does not prove that a £300 parcel was delivered to the correct person.
I am particularly disappointed by the complete lack of customer care. Rather than helping a returning customer who never received an expensive order, they immediately focused on avoiding responsibility.
If you are ordering low-value items, perhaps you are willing to take the risk. However, I would strongly advise against purchasing expensive items from this company. If your parcel goes missing, you may be left with no parcel, no refund, no replacement, and no meaningful support.
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

Beautiful products and a seamless returns process
I wanted to leave a positive review because, after placing my order, I came across some negative reviews about the returns process which made me quite anxious.
I purchased suits for my page boys from Childrensalon and, because I wasn’t sure on sizing, I ordered a few different options. Shortly after posting my returns back, I started worrying that I might have issues getting a refund, despite having carefully packed everything up and returned it in perfect condition.
I’m pleased to say my concerns were completely unfounded. The entire returns process was seamless and my refund was processed very quickly.
From start to finish, my experience with Childrensalon has been wonderful. The packaging was beautiful, the selection of products is absolutely stunning, and delivery was incredibly fast. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again.
I can’t wait to see my little boy and nephew looking amazing in their outfits on my wedding day. Thank you for such a fantastic shopping experience.

high prices for low service and quality

Had an issue with a return was lost by royal mail, contacted childrensalon after 2 month of the return expecting them to say its to late, but they super friedly service were so polite and sorted it out!! top customer service!
Excellent service and items
Excellent service and items. Ordered on Sunday, arrived on Monday! Very impressed. Lovely packaging and a little bag of Haribo underneath for my son. I will definitely shop again.
Never was such low service
I was buying in CS over 13 years. And every year it was getting worse and worse. My last experience was terrific. I made order from 3 March and it was for special event. I got my order only by 20 March with 2 weeks delay!! Of course it came too late for the event.
I needed many times continuously to contact customer service, they promised to write back but never did, they talked to me irrelevant and not interested, when I was asking why they didn’t know what was with my parcel ( they did not know exactly missing documents for custom ) and I was claiming why they didn’t have custom lawyer to deal with docs, the customer service did not accept any fault and was telling me repeatedly “how many EU clients they have”, probably I needed to understand that they don’t care if they lose one.
My pack came with 2 weeks delay and during all this time Childrensalon completely did not monitor situation , they never knew anything exactly , naming randomly every time different documents missing. They even wanted that online buyer like me would give to online shop Power of Attorney to act on custom (?!). When I already got my pack they finally wrote to me but telling that pack is still on custom and that custom needs my ID ( so it proves they are incompetent and did not monitor the situation with problematic delivery . )
They even did not try/offer me in such situation to call parcel back and resend it again with all needed documents. No, they prefer to budget on lawyers, budget few dollars to re-send pack which they don’t know how to move from custom..
And it’s not first time when THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOM NEEDS.
Prices are higher than by original brands, plus you pay 20% tax for EU orders and after all this you get irrelevant ignoring attitude, when the stuff points you that they don’t value you coz they have “lots of clients”

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RETAILER
I purchased clothing from this retailer for my children. They have refused to process my refund even after I sent their items back in the condition I got them in. They do not respond to emails. Their packaging is poor or non existent . Their delivery partner left my package outside and it was damaged. They refused to take responsibility or follow consumer law. Their reply below is nothing short of lies and deception in order to not refund. There is nothing luxury about them. Poor customer services and slow processing of orders, returns and refunds. STAY AWAY from them they will do whatever they can to not refund you. Their children’s clothes are unhygienic there are so many other places that provide better protection and good customer services. These people only make excuses for their incompetence

Return RB881595 Childrensalon have taken my money and I’ve received no goods, refund or any further communication to the information I’ve given you.
I returned the above order on the 8th November asking for the items to be exchanged for a different size in the hope I would give them to my daughter (who is expecting) for Christmas.
I used your returns label and provided tracking details that the parcel was on the way to you. I provided the confirmation via the Royal Mail app. My understanding is this has not been received by you.
I have had several contact exchanges with your company and my most recent is with Charlotte at Customer Care.
She received all the information saying you would investigate this.
You have cancelled my request for an exchange order and have provided me with no satisfactory outcome to receiving an exchange or refund.
In addition, regardless of further communication to you by myself I have requested Charlotte to advise me what is happening and I have received no further communication.
My bank has advised me that using a prepaid returns label provided by you. You the retailer are responsible for the package under the consumer rights act and I should have received an exchange or refund.
The response to my return request has been unsatisfactory and does not meet the standards required under the Consumer Rights Act. I am asking for the return of the money I have paid you within the next 48hrs.

Disappointing durability for children’s UGG boots
I am a long-term customer of both Childrensalon and UGG, and unfortunately this experience was very disappointing.
I purchased a pair of UGG boots for my 4-year-old daughter. She has worn UGG boots every winter since she started walking (sometimes one or two pairs per season), and we have never experienced this issue before.
After extremely limited use — essentially one normal day out (tube travel, theatre visit, light rain) — the boots showed significant fraying at the front and looked heavily worn, as if they had been used for years. This is not consistent with what I would consider reasonable durability for children’s winter boots at this price point.
I contacted Childrensalon and provided photos. The response was polite but dismissive, stating that this was “normal wear” and not a manufacturing fault. A 20% refund was offered as a goodwill gesture, which I accepted, but the boots are now not in a condition to be worn again.
What is most disappointing is being repeatedly told that this level of deterioration is normal, despite many years of personal experience suggesting otherwise. This has made me reconsider both the product quality and future purchases.
Update:
For clarity, this pair was worn once only. Previous UGG boots worn daily for school, parks, travel and even snow remained in excellent condition and were passed on in great shape.
This level of deterioration after a single use is not consistent with normal wear and supports my concerns about declining quality.

I even had sweet treats in my first order! The customer service though is highly commendable. Everytime I engage with Childrensalon, I am reminded why I return. They have a great range of products, ideal for those special occassions; their loyalty programme offers genuinely good discounts, and their service (returns, exchanges etc) is simple and efficient. What an amazing shop
What an amazing shop. I got a christening outfit delivered to Ireland within 2 days. The outfit didn’t fit and the amazing team sent me some alternatives with sizing. They really went above and beyond. I will definitely buy from Children salon again and would recommend it to anyone!
