ChargedEV Anmeldelser

I chose this company based on positive reviews and because they were recommended by Tusker. The initial response was quick and helpful, which gave me confidence to proceed.

However, once the installation was completed, the experience changed completely. It has been extremely difficult to contact them—calls involve waiting 20–25 minutes just to get through, and follow-ups are inconsistent. I’ve been told multiple times that someone would contact me, but no one ever did.

The pricing is also on the higher side compared to local installers. What’s disappointing is that the work is subcontracted anyway, so you end up paying more for the same service. In my case, the subcontracted engineer didn’t seem to have a clear understanding of integrating solar PV with a Zappi charger, despite me explaining this requirement clearly during the pre-install survey.

Even after installation, the system was not properly integrated, and I was later told I would need to pay extra for an additional CT clamp to make it work. This should have been identified and included from the beginning.

After checking with local installers, I found quotes that were £250–£300 cheaper, and one even offered the newer Zappi GLO at a lower price than what I paid.

Overall, I feel frustrated with my decision to go with this company. Poor communication, higher costs, and unresolved issues have made this a disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company and have shared my experience with colleagues as well.

Ashley turned up on time was excellent and super friendly, her professionalism was outstanding and in tidying up after the job was complete.

Installation started on EVcharger on 26th March and only completed on 1st May. Communication from the office was poor and unsatisfactory. The only thing that was a saving was the positive attitude of Nick who finished the task.

Absolutely excellent service from start to finish. The installer was very professional, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced. He took the time to explain everything in simple terms, made sure the setup was neat and tidy, and answered all my questions without rushing.
He was also very friendly and approachable, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about doing a great job.
Highly recommend to anyone looking to install a home EV charger – top service all round.

Ashley arrived as expected and did an excellent job with the install of My Ohme Pro Home Charger, she explained everything and left everything really clean and tidy when she finished. Brilliant job, well done😊

Joshua Roe was extremely helpful with my query of getting my new EV charger added to my Hive account , he went above and beyond delivering excellent customer service

Russ Bowden was outstanding. Took time to throughly explain every step of the procedure and ensured I was ok with everything before leave site

I had real difficulties understanding how to set up my Zappi Charge, however Joshua was brilliant and so patient in supporting me to get the issues resolved. Would highly recommend

EV fitting went very smoothly and Ross Bowden (our fitter) was very helpful.
Would recommend.

I was walked through the stages, and the staff were all friendly. The installation, done by James S, went without a hitch.

David rang me the day before to arrange a time that was convenient for myself. He arrived exactly on time and carried out the work very professionally.
Highly recommended.

I had my new HyperVolt EV charger installed by Andy yesterday. This was to replace an existing/faulted Ohme unit. Andy kept me informed of expected arrival time in advance. He also ran through the planned works on arrival and discussed options for location and re-use of some existing cabling. All was well explained and was work was completed to a good standard.

Appointment cancelled twice last minute. Second time the arrival time. New dates where too far out considering it was Charged EV's issue.
During the video call the space required to fit the equipment in the house was not considered so we had to fit on a wall which is unsightly and the unit is black not white so very noticeable. No consideration during the video quote for Wifi connectivity as charging point was some way from the house.

Josh was very knowledgeable and helpful and helped get the charger exchanged and working

Lovely guy fitted our charger made no mess and it only took a couple of hours highly recommend

Rock was very neat and tidy and explained the process. Performed the job quickly and efficiently. Very pleased.

Absolutely amazing man, did all the work that was needed with positive behaviour and cleaned up after.

Quick replies and good call centre service.
The gentleman who installed it was friendly and efficient.
Only criticism was the all day window for installation.

Rock was quick efficient and very helpful.
