A great place to source unusual ingredients
Ceylon Supermarket sell all kinds of unusual ingredients - I have bought fresh curry leaves from them several times, and they have always arrived quickly and (most importantly) they are fresh, plus (compared, say, to the tiny little bag one gets from the supermarket) the amounts are generous. I love using curry leaves in my curries and chutneys, so having fresh flavourful curry leaves is very important.

Authentic taste traditional sweets
I ordered the box of goodies/sweets for the Sri Lankan New Year. Each type was delicious - obviously home made and very authentic taste. All my family enjoyed them.
And the really speedy delivery, at no additional cost, was much appreciated.
Will definitely be ordering from here again.

All our items were delivered quickly…
All our items were delivered quickly and carefully packed. All the fresh and frozen stuff we ordered was still that way when it arrived. Great company and fantastic that we can get such a variety of fresh produce online.

The company service is good
The company service is good. The DPD service which was their partner, did a very poor service. My house is in a secured gate barrier. He didnot try to call me when the door is closed and didnot find way to reach out to me to deliver the parcel. He just took the photo of the closed door and mentioned that they missed their delivery. Very poor service done by DPd.

We recommend you to download the DPD App and provide your preferred delivery method including that you can share the secure gate entry code with the DPD driver securely.

potential food poisoning if consumed.
Cooked food that was supposed to arrive frozen was sent through Royal Mail. I would not recommend them. And have reported issues to the relevant authorities. If we had the food am sure we would have got food poisoning.

The Seller has gone against our accepted procedure for frozen food delivery. We intervened on your behalf and your order was fully refunded to you. As a retailer selling frozen & chilled food for over 15 years, we fully understand and follow industry standards when we sell & deliver perishable foods to our customers. We need our third-party sellers who sell similar products to follow the same highest standards when they sell similar products on our Marketplace.
