Bought on line and delivered to France
We live in France but wanted to buy an 'Irish' cardigan for our son's birthday. Carroll's came to mind as we shopped in the Belfast store when we lived there. I went online and was delighted to be able to order an Aran cardigan for him. It arrived within a week, well packaged, no import tax to pay, and exactly as described. Great service...we will be shopping online with Carroll's again. Thank you!

This is not my first purchase from Carroll’s and, as always, everything was perfect. The package arrived intact and well packed. I highly recommend this store to anyone who loves Ireland and its culture, especially its food specialties — but not only.

Rip-off for tourists & locals
I bought a tweed hat for a friend in the O'Connell Bridge store about 4 weeks ago. The tills were acting up so wasn't issued with a receipt.
His head is bigger and returned the hat to exchange it for the exact same item in a larger size.
I was referred to the totally unhelpful Maura who explained that I couldn't get a refund without a receipt. I explained that I wasn't issued with a receipt, and didn't want a refund - just to change the size.
She delayed me about 40 minutes while she said she was looking through the transactions for my hat (seriously?).
In the end she wouldn't exchange the item.
We used buy gifts here regularly for family and friends. NEVER AGAIN!
