Ordered an iphone 11 with a website promised delivery date of 4/11/21. No sign of the order, however the website suddenly changed to show the iphone 11 is not in stock plus the delivery date has changed to 16/11/21.

Contacted Customer Service for a firm delivery date. They ask me lots of security questions but have not as yet answered my question on delivery. Have now cancelled the order.

Absolute sick to death of these clowns phoning me up every week trying to flog me another phone that I do not want or do not need, if I did need a new one this is the last place I would go anyway as about 12 years ago they sold my details to a third party without my permission, I was having these calls within 24hrs of purchasing my phone before I even had a chance to give out the number, they knew where I lived, my name, all details that could have only come from one company, I cannot believe that they are still operating today, avoid at absolute all costs, an absolute scam of a company.

I have tried purchasing an iPhone contract on Vodafone over 24 months. The cost is £29 plus £43/month.

At no point was I able to see the break down of the £43 between the phone and network cost. At no point was I able to see which Vodafone network I was on, eg basic, lite etc.

I went online to chat to an agent who gave me an 0800 number to call. The 0800 number provided had 2 options. 1 for those who have made a purchase and the other for insurance services.

I eventually got through to someone via option 1 and spoke to someone quite quickly. Unfortunately the agent had no knowledge of what a break down for mobile device/network costs was. I asked what amount of the £43 would have the retail index + 3.9 April applied to and got told that got told they won’t know until the index is announced. I made it clear that I didn’t expect her to know what the index price increase would be but how much of the £43 it would be applied to. She had no idea what I meant.

I briefly asked about which of the Vodafone tariffs I would be on but quickly realised that they had no idea about this either, suggesting that it would be Vodafone.

Getting nowhere I thanked her for her time and waited to be connected to the customer satisfaction survey. There was a long pause until she came back on the line and got told, very sheepishly, about the survey. I thanked her for letting me know and waited to be connected. The line then went dead.

While almost every retailer is out of the iPhone 13 mobiles Carphone warehouse are among the few who have stock. Despite this and having no phone at the moment I cannot bring myself to entrust them with my money. I would dread to think what the after sales experience would be if I was to ever need them.

Well pleased with this company, I've used them 3 times in the last 6 years and the service has been second to none

Utter SHAMBLES passed from pillar to post ,phone calls, website unable to complete task,messaged to ring number that is disconnected , finally web chat that informed me they are Currys and just go to shop😤😡I only want to upgrade

Good on you for giving jobs to poor people in call centers in India.
Do it for customer support, not sales.
The more they call, the less I want to buy from you.

Terrible experience with Carphone Warehouse. Ordered 3 iPhone 12s for me and my daughters. Had an email saying they would be delivered on Tuesday, they never turned up. Phoned Carphone Warehouse, they said there had been a delay, but clearly they forgot to communicate this to us. Waited another week and no sign of the phones. After much hassle we eventually decided to cancel the order, as obviously no iPhone 12s were available. Reordered three iPhone 13s, had to do the order by phone as their website wasn’t working. The three iPhone 13s arrived on time, but had to wait more than 3 weeks and phone 3 times to get a refund for the original order. Sent the old iPhone XR’s to Carphone Warehouse for a trade in. They had offered £120 for them as they were in great order. When they received them, surprise surprise they were only worth £60 because they allegedly found “screen burn in”, which we were totally unaware of. In summary although we have always used Carphone Warehouse for new phones, we never will again, the whole process was fraught with issues and problems and it was far more difficult than it should have been.

Awful experience with carphone warehouse. It is a shame as I have always had contracts with them with no issue.
I took out a pay monthly sim with them this year. When my phone broke and I got a new contract they charged me £200 for leaving an 18 month contract, even though I didn't agree to an 18 month contract.

they offered me £80 trade in for my nearly brand new apple iPhone 8 plus i already had a lot better offer of £140 pounds from curry it has the box and is in perfect working order they said i had to post it to them first this was a trade in for an apple iphone 13 my advice is to avoid them at all cost there are far better company's than them they must think im made my grandson took and old phone that had been used a lot and traded it in with tesco and they gave £90 trade in for a brand new apple iphone 13 and was over the moon if i could i would give the nought stars

I don’t even want to give a star the next person to call me from your 💩 company will not like the reaction they get honestly sick of the cold calls asking if I want a deal then when I decline I get abuse and hung up on absolute joke of a company!

So this is my 2nd review of the same on going transaction. I recently traded in my galaxy s9 with literally no damage, in a case with gorilla class, screen down to a minimum and they still said it had screen burn. They replied they had technology that would reveal screen burn invisible to the naked eye....Well screen burn isn't meant to be invisible to the naked eye.

Well I had a reply on here saying if I wasn't happy just reply to the email and they will send it back. Which I did as soon as I received the email, well that was a week ago, I have received no correspondence, so right now they have had my property for a week while refusing to acknowledge my request. I have replied to the email twice now, still nothing. Now of someone has your property and isn't remotely making an effort to contact you or return in the normal day to day world it reminds me a little of THEFT.

AVOID THIS COMPANY, ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTISTS.

I've had a terrible experience with carphone warehouse.
I purchased a phone online starting up a contract. As soon as the phone arrived it was not working correctly. I spent a long time on the phone and online trying to find out how to get it fixed. I was advised to go to my nearest store.
On arrival to the store I was then told they couldn't replace the phone in store so I needed to again ring up the terrible customer service phone line. After 3 phone calls explaining everything again to 4 different people they advised I would have to send my phone back and then I would receive a replacement up to 5 days later. In this period I have no phone to use.

After a cold call today trying to sell me a phone which I declined . Foreign sounding lady just hung up total lack of customer service I wonder what it would be like if you did buy a phone AVOID THIS RUDE COMPANY THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHERS OUT THERE

After ordering a carphone warehouse SIM card I found I got no reception where I lived and promptly canceled the contract, after a couple of months I received a letter of late payment I rang the number on the letter to find out why? I had an irate asian woman shouting at me saying I should not be on this line (it was the number at the top of the letter) no manner of reasoning would calm this woman she eventually hung up on me. I tried to use the online customer service chat with no success I then called in at my local curry pc world as they have carphone warehouse staff their, one of their staff rang the number at the top of the letter and got the same woman who told her she was lying and that she was not a member of staff and hung up she then contacted her boss who eventually got the sim canceled. three months later a missed payment appeared on my credit score that I am struggling to have removed. Ba****rds!!!

The worst customer services ever I seen particularly Swindon branch . No answering the phone. They don't provide the customer enough information about the product and the delivery. They not welcoming the customer. Very very bad branch.

They are lying thieving unprofessional scammers. They tricked my partner into a non agreed bill with Vodafone when he's with O2 and won't cancel this for him. They just want to take his money instead of correct the scam They made

Absolutely appalling service beyond belief. This is the FIRST and LAST time i'll ever use Carphone Warehouse.

I've ordered an IPhone 12 sim free (£800), the money was accepted and received, the order was processed and due to be delivered. 2 Days after the expected delivery date i had not heard anything so i contacted them via online chat, to be told my order has been cancelled and i need to contact them to find out why... So i then email them with all my information, to then receive an email explaining they need my billing address to be able to help with my query (although my address was clearly stated), i then hadn't heard back so i decided to call them. I spoke to a very blunt member of staff (Ulanda) who wouldn't say anything more than "sorry you've failed an internal security check" and apparently no supervisors are available to help. I tried to get clarity as to what's happened as this is the first time using their service all i've done is gone onto their website, paid in full for a product, received confirmation that the order has been processed await for a dispatch notice, then not heard anything.. once again all she could tell me was i've failed an internal security check... 0 Customer Service, not even the slightest bit of understanding as to where i was coming from. I can not believe a company as big as this is able to exist, how and why would you completely refuse right of service to a first time customer who's paid in full via card...Utterly Shocking will i even get a refund??.

The Mallow car phone warehouse employees either need to replaced or trained in customer service and getting up off there asses and attempt to look out the back of the store room for the phone instead of sitting down and looking like they don’t care .

I will never return and I hope care phone warehouse owners and mangers look at this because it’s a down right disgrace to have that going on in a small town ,two female staff especially have no manners or any understanding of the business and of customer interaction

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I recently paid for a nice new iPhone 12. On the website the information said collection available within 24hrs. My phone had broken so it was important to me to get the phone ASAP. As soon as I'd paid the information change. It was now 48hrs. I waited longer than the 48hrs before going to attempt to collect my phone. I was left waiting outside for over 20 minutes while they tried to find my order. It wasn't available at that time. So I purchased the exact same product from argos. It was available to collect immediately. So I collected.
I phoned carphone warehouse the following day to cancel the order. I was told 3-5 days for the refund. A week later still no funds in my account.
I then phoned again and was told it had been escalated with the banking team and would definitely be in my account. Now another 6 days have gone by and I'm still no further forward with my refund. The money goes into their account immediately. It should be the same when issuing a refund. I've been waiting for over 2 weeks now for £866. PLEASE AVOID CARPHONE WAREHOUSE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHOCKING.

We can attempt further on a card refund if you wish however, you would
need to contact our Customer Service Team and the number provided
recently. When speaking to the team please advise them that there is a
voucher for refund on your account and that you have been advised to
contact in order to have this transfer to your bank.

If you do not wish to do this we would have no alternative than to issue
a cheque to your home address, if you are unhappy with these two
solutions we can issue with the letter a final response you to take
further with 1/3 party you’re choosing.
