POSSIBLE SCAM

POSSIBLE SCAM - see Google reviews which have an opposite rating to here!!! This appears to be an active, registered UK company with a VERY convincing set up. Scary how much info they had.

They wrote a letter that was VERY official looking and told me about an account that I do have, and a very similar balance (a coincidence?) but after contacting my card issuers, they confirmed they had not sold on the debt. When I checked the number on the letter, it is listed as a SCAM

It’s a phishing scam claiming I owed the alliance and Leicester 11k I’ve never had a loan with them. I’ve never had a loan of 5 figures

Chasing a debt for someone who does not…

Chasing a debt for someone who does not live at our address. Nothing on their website to handle these 'not at address' issues which they must have all the time. Why don't they check with land registry or electoral register before spamming people with letters not addressed to us?
All you can do is call them, of which I have done numerous times - every single time you wait for 5 minutes on hold, then they cut you off saying "we're too busy".

People like myself with dementia need better help and understanding, it is a nasty illness. And more sympathy would be helpful rather than being told you gave to pay what is owed,

People that have vascular dementia like myself need a lot more understanding and help rather than being asked to set up payment plans when I like myself have no recollection of the money owed, I just cannot remember, it is not a case of ne not wanting to pay as the last thing I want is to get accused of not paying if I owe but I just cannot remember as it was a few years ago and I think more consideration would be nice. I have said I do not want a third party involved as I do try to ge independent I have been scammed twice now from other companies and I had to report to my Bank.
So more understanding about a person

Dreadful customer experience I recently received a call from this…

I recently received a call from this company. I had not heard of them before. I was told they had bought over my virgin money debt. This debt had been added to my das which I had paid off by then. They didn't believe me asked for proof. This has been sent 3 times by the company who managed my debt but they still maintain I owe money. They have now defaulted me on a debt I was already defaulted on which at the time I was paying to virgin in instalments. I am now told my second complaint will be not upheld as they claim it is right to default me as they don't have the documentation of the das. I have complained x2 but it takes 8 weeks to investigate which is far to long when they are in the wrong. All they have to do is speak to virgin. Terrible inefficient company who continues to pursue a debt which is paid off that has no thought to the person's credit score by adding untruthful information.
