I lost the charger for the battery. I ordered a new one. I repeatedmy asked for the right charger to be sent to me. They sent me one for an old model. Now I have a lazer cap that will not start. Boo!
I was really disappointed with the customer service I received, and my purchasing experience was poor. I already had the Capillus Ultra and liked it. The Capillus Pro was beyond my budget but I saw the trade in offer of $300 for the Capillus Ultra and decided I could afford that.
After I sent in my cap (which was in perfect working condition), I received a credit of only $200, which was my first disappointment. Then when I tried to apply it to my purchase, it didn't work. Customer service couldn't get it to work either, and said maybe the credit only worked on full priced items. That was not stated at the time of trade-in, plus 90% of the items on the website are always "on sale". This felt like a scam to me, as now I had an unusable credit and I couldn't get my original cap back either. The rep said she would get back to me within 24 hours with a solution but I never heard back. I wasn't able to reach her again and ended up texting with customer service reps on 2 separate occasions; both times they said they would get back to me and never did.
I cannot recommend this company to others :(

As I want to go with illumiflow because it had a lesser price tag, I couldn’t make the commitment of such an expensive purchase if I couldn’t actually talk to someone on the phone. I called capillus before purchasing and they answered allllllll of my questions. Truthfully and professionally. That’s something I need to feel confident in my purchase.

Once again Isis was able to solve my problem right away. My complaint is not with her but that it took a week and 3 emails before I received a response.

I am leaving this review because Capillus has refused to refund an expensive returned item, even though USPS confirms the package was delivered to the return address and accepted there. I followed the company’s return instructions, but customer service continues to say the item was never received and that it is in the post office's hands, and nothing can be done. USPS will not help me because they have proof of delivery. This dispute has been ongoing since November and remains unresolved.

The Capillus Red Therapy hat has helped my hair retention in the past so I have high hopes for the help that the new cap may give. I had to work a bit to get a human response to my questions, like searching for the numbers, scheduling and waiting for a reply. Eventually Isis contacted me and was very helpful.
Upon receipt of the devise, I had to use a QR code to get the manual. I prefer a paper manual and have requested that and will wait. Consequently, without a manual, I wondered if there were some new instructions about use. I was surprised that no paper manual or any paperwork accompanied the device. In addition, the instructions of how to reply to the warranty registration did not work. I called and learned that I need to go to the Capillus website to finish it so I will do that. I feel that the company is depending too much on assuming all customers are highly tech savvy. I feel the company could be more customer friendly by being more accessible with human response and with paperwork.
