I started wearing the helmet in 2022 after my hair was thinning after having COVID. I wore it daily every morning while drinking my coffee. It took many many months after my hair started growing back to see results. After a year or so, i would wear the helmet every other day for maintenance. As of 2026 I am thrilled with the results. It still is a part of my morning routine. My hair has new growth and is super healthy. My hair has grown longer than it has ever been in my life. I love this helmet as I've only had to replace the battery once. I believe it has over 1500 treatments thus far. Because of my positive experience 3 family members/friends have bought this helmet. I would highly recommend this Theradome Helmet to anyone!

There staff is amazing and the product is PRICELESS! I have been using only twice a week for 4 months. My hair stylist is speechless to say the least. Hair growing wonderfully. I plan on stepping up to 4 days per week and i will keep them updated on my results!

I bought the TheraDome LH40 in mid-November, and received it a few weeks later in early December. After less than 5 months, the charging port that I put my charging cable into fell out of the helmet and was somehow lost (it’s smaller than the end of a toothpick ). I took pictures of the helmet with a vacant hole where the charging port was located and informed the company that it was a defective port, asking them to either replace it or repair it since it was still less than a year old and under warranty. They refused to do that unless I purchased an additional warranty, which I was reluctant to do because they didn’t even honor the first warranty was supposedly still in place. It was only after I contacted my charge card to report this matter that they sent me an email letting me know that they were reconsidering their answer to me and would replace my LH 40 with another one if I would mail the defective one back to them which I did. That was last week, and I followed all of their directions for returning the defective helmet, and notified them of the tracking number. I am waiting for them to provide me with their course of action at the moment. They should have received everything by now, and I will update this review as I find out more about whether or not they intend to honor their warranty, and send me a working replacement.

I have seen improvements using Theradome. My hair has become thicker. Some of the hair I once found on the bathroom countertop was extremely thin. Since using this helmet I no longer find those tiny super thin hairs on the bathroom countertop.
I have found the helmet is a good fit and is lightweight.

I’ve been using Theradome for about 4 months now intermittently, trying to do it twice a week but accomplishing maybe weekly or less frequently. However I’ve noticed less shedding and some new growth of hair, which I’m really happy about! Hair seems to be thicker without shining areas of my scalp.
I recommend this tool to everyone as a combination of the methods to improve your appearance.

I have used the Theradome 138 times and it has already made a huge difference in my hair loss and my hair growth. I will keep using it because it definitely has made a huge difference in keeping my hair from falling out. Thank you,

Has been using Theradome for 4+ months. I have noticed improvement in hair quality. It feels more alive. However, in addition to Theradome I started using Hormone replacement therapy and hair vitamins. I think combining these is really helpful.
Customer service was great too when I needed to troubleshoot the helmet.

I am forever committed to My Theradome. After 4 months of twice weekly use, the 'shedding' I was experiencing after menopause has completely stopped !! AND I see visibly thicker hair at My scalp and crown !! Shedding has stopped !! Regrowth has begun !!

Great results! My hair loss is related to significant weight loss as well as menopause. My hair thinned dramatically and I became self conscious. This lead to lots of science based research, anecdotal research and sorting through a lot of snake oil. I had a family member recommend Theradome after her own positive results. So, armed with science and a trusted referral, I purchased the Theradome Pro model. And thank goodness I did! After consistent use, I soon noticed that the shedding decreased and finally returned to a normal amount. Now, a year in, I have so much new growth! It’s so easy to use and stick with especially with how quickly I saw results. I highly recommend Theradome!

I have been extremely satisfied with it. It has increased my hair growth and stopped my hair loss. I would recommend the product to others. This is a tremendous product.

I started using the Theradome Pro LH80 11/19/2024. I chose to use it every day instead of just twice a week. Theradome's trichologist indicated this was fine as long as I leave at least 12 hours between treatments. I have had amazing results that have exceeded my expectations of what is possible with regrowing lost hair. I experience typical male pattern baldness with early indications of receding hairline and later, thinning of the crown.

About 5 months into the treatment, I noticed that the crown had filled it quite a bit. But I also noticed that my hair had lightened dramatically from the dark brown (almost black) and gray to a much lighter dirty blond with a reddish tint and with much less gray. The lasers didn't bleach my hair, but they triggered my hair follicles to start producing a color close to what they used to produce when I was a child. Since then, my hair has normalized back to something in between that dirty blond color and the dark brown I used to have, albeit still with less gray.

I couldn't be happier with the results and will continue to use my helmet daily as long as I continue to see slow, but dramatic results over time. Once I get where I want to be, I'll MAYBE transition to a couple times a week. However, I enjoy using the helmet so much, I might just continue with daily use as the 680nm wavelength of the proprietary lasers they use is extremely good for the skin anyway.

Because of the increased hair growth, about 8 months ago I switched from getting a haircut every 30 days to every two weeks, so I think that's a great indication of how well it's working!

I have 300+ treatments, hair loss has not progressed. Would recommend to anyone experiencing hair loss. I spoke a live agent who actually called me back ( when does that ever happen?)

The Theradome made my hair grow back thick again! I couldn't be happier. Customer service is responsive if you have questions. If you're on the fence, just try it!

Theradome and its distributor in the Netherlands did not reply to my complaint email, the contents of which are below.

I purchased a Theradome PRO in April 2025. 

Given Theradome's advice below on daily use, I used about 5x per week for about 5 months, with an interruption of about 3 weeks during the summer when on vacation.  I didn't see much difference with this treatment use.  

However, in the autumn, around Nov. 2025, I started losing a fair amount of hair.  This does happen during the autumn, but this time was very different.  The strands of hair that fell out were frizzled!  It's like they had been "fried."

Since then, the hair has not grown back, as it usually does once spring arrives.  I find myself with less hair than before starting Theradome.  Obviously, I am no longer using the helmet.

I asked Theradome to remove the below "advice" that it's fine and even good to use Theradome daily.  

I spent nearly EUR 1000 on a treatment that has left me puzzled and unhappy.  I also see (also below) that at least one FDA complaint from a Theradome user concerned significant hair loss.

Message to Theradome: Remove the below "advice" from your website:

Use Theradome Every Day
The Theradome PRO is FDA cleared to use twice a week and the Theradome EVO to use 4x a week. We recommend following this regimen. However, we have had patients that use Theradome every day with absolutely no side effects and excellent results.
If you decide to go beyond the recommended usage, please allow 12 hours of rest in between each treatment for your mitochondria's to rest. Our lasers activate the mitochondria in each hair cell. 20 minutes is enough for a 700% increase in ATP (fuel output of the each hair cell) production.

I used theradome evo laser hair growth device for 10 sessions for a total of 2.5 weeks.I stopped because i had headaches after using the device and my hair roots would sting in my scalp.Upon using the device i lost 50% of my hair and have bald lines where i parted my hair to receive treatment based on the device instructions.During the first week, i referred to the website, and it said it's part of the process of new hair pushing out the old hair, so i continued with the treatment.But i noticed that even new short hairs were still falling out.Eventually, due to the pain i stopped, but after waiting for a year the hair has not grown back, or if it has it is very thin and the bald lines are very visible.I got a scalp biopsy 3 months ago as well, and it did not indicate that the hair was going through telogen effluvium.It said it looked like androgenic alopecia, but concentrated at the theradome bald lines instead of the usual locations where androgenic alopecia occurs.I am now going to try prp to restore the hair that i lost using that device.It has been very depressing for me.(also, the dates i have indicated the problem occurred is approximate +/- 2 to 4 weeks.Although the durations i mentioned are exact.) fda safety report id # (b)(4).

Suffering from male pattern baldness, I'd been looking for various solutions that don't involve harsh compounds like finasterside and minoxidil (I can't do either.) I first tried a different helmet, the iRestore Pro, in 2022 and noticed my hair loss slowed substantially. But I later saw advertisements for Theradome, with their superior lasers, etc., and was intrigued enough to give the Pro model a try. I love it. I think it's far more effective and my hair loss has basically stopped at a standstill! And the helmet has a number of advantages over the iRestore (beyond just the superior results). There is no need to be tethered to the wall like with the iRestore (which requires an add-on purchase of a handheld battery that you awkwardly have to carry around if you want to be un-tethered), the Theradome lasers run cool compared to the iRestore, and overall it's just a great experience. Would highly recommend, and it has really given me hope for keeping my hair and for growing it anew!

I was told hair loss, hair shedding was just a part of growing older, how comforting. That’s when I did some research and found the Theradome HL80 Pro. I started with the recommended treatment of 2 times per week but being impatient after a month

My experience is that it took 9 months for my shedding to slow. At 11 months, the shedding is even less and I'm pretty sure that I'm seeing some new hair growth. I just had a check up with my dermatologist (she referred me to Theradome, I didn't like the possible pharmaceutical side-effects) and she said that my hair loss would have been "much worse" without my consistent use of your helmet. I've found it easy to use twice a week, 20 minutes.

I started using my Theradome red light helmet after losing half my hair after COVID. It was a very traumatic experience!! I tried so many things! Different shampoos, topical hair growth treatments, Nutrafol, etc. The one thing I stayed consistent with the my Theradome sessions. It has now been 3+ years and my hair has grown back mostly. I am a 62 yr old woman who focuses on my health and fitness. I will continue to stay consistent with my Theradome sessions as the more I read about red light therapy, the more I'm convinced of it's benefits on the hair and scalp. Also, the customer service is excellent!
