Great experience from start to finish
Ordered gates and told it was a five-week wait time and they arrived near enough to the day, five weeks later, great quality and well put together. I bought the hinges as well, and the quality and thickness of the metal was better than any I could source elsewhere. Gates have been up a few weeks now and very happy with them, the last gates I bought from Cannock Gates lasted 25 years hopefully these will as well

gate supplied mostly ok
gate supplied mostly ok, but some of tongue and groove slats were split at the ends. Managed to glue then together and so far it has been ok.

Happy Customer
I recently purchased a property and noticed that the tiered rear gates were made by Cannock Gates. After speaking with the previous owner, I learned that they had been installed around 30 years ago.
Impressed by their longevity, I searched for the company and ordered a similar set. The price was very reasonable, and about three weeks after placing my order I received a call from Cannock Gates with an estimated delivery date. The delivery driver was polite and handled the gates with great care.
I installed them this afternoon and I’m very happy with the build quality, especially for the price paid. I’d definitely recommend Cannock Gates to anyone looking for durable, well-made gates.

Website has no option to open account
Website has no option to open account. How can you make purchases without customer account.
I am sorry you feel this way. Customers account keeps records of all transactions and purchases were made. Why do we have to call in order to open an account to make a purchase..? Your website designed in a very strange manner. When I am adding product in the basket, I noticed it's adding two items instead of one. And other concerns I have, -will I receive confirmation email from you after I process my payment for the product? This is quite important type of document from the vendor confirming your purchase when you are buying online. This is a part of the soft agreement with the customer when you are selling your items online. Will you send me confirmation of my purchase when I hit the button to submit my payment? When you will send it?
And what fitting equipment is included in the package? Or there is any?
This information and details are important. I should not be call you to pay online and I have no guarantee that my purchase will safely delivered to my door. Or it will be? I should be don't have these questions when I am paying for the product online.

Please just call us if you are having such an issue on our web site (no other customers are complaining...) Sorry it is not up to your high standards but it works. All you need to do is put items in your cart and make the purchase. If there are 2 items added then you have added it twice, just delete one of the items. Yes we supply all the info you request, if not then it is just a phone call and we can give you all the advice you need. We sell over 20000 gates per year so yes there is a pretty good chance it will be delivered. Really no need to leave a poor review about this, that is just mean.
Sturdy, well built, fast delivery.
Found online after researching, read reviews and decided to place order. Upon ordering, the process asks you to provide your width measurements and voilà as easy as that you push the button and order is placed. Received confirmation email, update to say being built and to expect delivery 5-6 weeks.
Came about 3 weeks later, I don’t remember seeing an email they were on the way, but the driver did call the day before to say he would be delivering the following day and gave an expected eta. Again he called about 30mins away from arrival. Brought gates into the garden for me too.
I painted them with wood stain myself and fitted them, they are a perfect fit! Sturdy and well built.

Zero notice given for delivery , items missing
Had decent previous experience with this company but this time around the gate turned up damaged , missing fittings id paid extra for and they didn’t seem that bothered there was zero notice given for delivery . Awarded 2 stars as they were quick to refund parts missing but the damaged post was ignored . Probably won’t use again for next set I need

Hello Simon, We are sorry to hear about the unsatisfactory experience with your gate purchase. With regards the notice on delivery, we use external couriers who are supposed to send you a text the day before delivery and another on the day of delivery. Unfortunately we have no control over whether or not this is done. As for the damaged post and missing fittings, again this is due to the courier mis-handling the goods. There are no couriers out there that will take any sort of responsibility, they even have a standard policy that if delivering to a domestic address then we cannot even raise a claim on them for damages or missing goods. We do everything to try and give a 5 star service and do apologise if it seemed that we were not interested. If you need anything replaced, all you need to do is call and it will be resolved.

Wooden gothic side gate
Ordered the gothic wooden side gate it arrived quickly it did need painting with preservative before hanging it is well made heavy to lift on hinges but looks really smart would recommend
