Horrible customer experience. They won’t let you return anything. I would never deal with this company. Don’t buy anything from them. They’ll just rip you off.

Bought 2 sets of soft shield dog boots. Correct size for both. Boots wouldn't stay in place with both fasteners done up correctly. Top fastener very tight on tendons. Both sets slipped out of position within minutes of walking, impeding gait and endangering tendons. Tried to return to company, they refused. Return policy is basically, unused, unopened with tags attached. They offered credit but we refused a there are no products that we have confidence in to purchase. PayPal denied claim. Out 171.00 for useless product.

One of the worst products I’ve ever purchased. No idea how these suspenders would fit any dog. The design is terrible. Return policy is awful. Check your local market place and you’ll see it is filled with people trying to pawn these off on someone else. Do not buy!

I spent 75.00 on a pair of soft shield booties for my 15lb. Dog. After 3 weeks the Velcro was not sticking anymore and they would come off. I tried to go back to Chico pet shop to try to return them but they told me they have a no return policy. They told me to contact Canada Pooch.
After so many emails back and forth they kept giving me the run around. I sent pictures and the receipt and told them I wanted my money back as the booties are of very poor quality. They respond every time with how they are busy and will get back to me then they sent an email on how to care for them then again asking for videos. Every excuse not to have to issue a refund. Three months later still no conclusion. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I will never buy any product from Canada Pooch. Even the pet shop manager told me they have alot of complaints about their products. I had to go out to buy another pair which are less expensive and work so much better. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY they are false advertisers stating they have quality products when in fact their products are cheaply made and fall apart easily.

My friends have Canada Pooch suspender boots for their two dogs and I wanted to try them on mine. I got just one pair for one of my dogs to try it out. I thought I was doing something wrong at first, but I couldn’t get them to fit properly. After a few attempts, it became apparent that they installed the sole of the rear boots on the top of the feet, not the bottom. I twisted the back boots around, hoping they would stay put, and within a few steps they spun around again. I sent Canada Pooch photos and explained what was happening and I made sure they knew that I had access to other suspender boots from their company, and my friends confirmed theirs are built differently. Nope. They still think I’m an idiot who doesn’t know how to use their boots. I was a loyal customer for many years, buying several pairs for my dogs, and I would have continued to buy their products. But when you can’t get simple support for their mistake, I’m not giving them my money. I’ll sooner support another brand that stands behind their products.

Avoir su, je n’aurais pas acheté leur produit "en ligne"...j'aurais dû me rendre chez un commerçant de mon quartier. Non seulement j'aurais acheté "local" mais en plus, j'aurais eu beaucoup plus de facilité a effectuer un échange.
Je leur ai acheté 2 ensembles de bottes suspendues d’une valeur de 70$ chacune et, elles sont malheureusement trop grandes et ce, même si j'avais bien prise les mesures de mon chien 😳😳😳Leur charte de mesure n’est pas bonne je vous assure !
Je souhaitais un échange mais maintenant, en constatant leur service après vente de mauvaise foi, je désirerais beaucoup plus un remboursement complet !!

Horrible company. Ordered before: harness puffer and suspender boots. Love both. So, I ordered Snow Suit. Despite following the sizing chart and going down in size from her harness puffer, the snow suit was still 3"-4" too long. The legs were also ridiculously long and the snaps which were to help with length were impossible to close once the suit was on the dog. In addition, the velcro closure runs about 8" from the beginning of the neck area to all the way under the belly area. It is extremely difficult to close in one smooth piece. Last, the buckles at the neck and under the belly are so stiff and tight that closing them are incredibly hard and unbuckling is near impossible. I immediately tried calling, texting and emailing and finally got a return call when I threatened to leave a bad review. They said I could exchange for something else ... I didn't want my money back .. and said they would begin the process of emailing me a return/exchange link. After several hours I got an email that said I couldn't return it because she had been outside with it on (for less than 3 minutes just standing on porch). I will never buy from this company again.

The Canada Pooch Soft Shield Boots are not worth buying. I bought a set of these 2 years in a row & was hoping for a better outcome this year. The velcro is of really poor quality. After about 3 weeks the velcro starts to lose its hold & the boots come off easily. The stitching on the straps also has fallen apart. At this point 3 months in, I am about to go and sew new velcro on, with the hope that they will get us through the winter. The style works well for my Standard Poodle but they are useless if they keep falling off. My pooch is smart enough that when they come off he picks them up & brings them to me. I purchased another brand of boots that were much cheaper & the velcro is great. Too bad Canada Pooch cannot sell a better quality product for the money. Do not buy.

Dog wore booties twice in our snow covered yard and 2 of them already have tears. Customer service took over two weeks to answer. Tried to give me a 20% off coupon and blame me for the failure. Total bs. Will stick to cheap ones that last 3 years instead of this crap

I bought suspender boots for my dog through their Canada Pooch direct website. Bad idea. The company has been very difficult to communicate with. The print out sizing chart was not helpful. Trying to get in touch with customer service via phone or/and email - difficult/long wait times. Features on the web site did not work - chat and returns. Return process - cumbersome, unrealistic. I now have to donate 2 pairs of suspender boots (over $150 worth) to the Humane Society… which I am please to do, as MY dog can’t wear them.

The product may be fine, but dealing with the company website/customer service was painful and lead to poor outcomes. I recommend buying these from a brick and mortar store or from Chewy! Their sales process, customer service and/or returns dept. are MUCH better

Their sizing chart is completely off, and returns are difficult with restocking and shipping fees, plus taxes total rip-off. I will never buy from this vendor again!

I have been trying for over 2 weeks now to figure out how to return these suspender boots that did not properly fit my dog despite the measurements I took. If you go online, the live chat doesn't work, and after leaving multiple phone messages, I finally got one call back but I missed the call so now I am back to square one. Plus, I tried to return online but they ask for an order number without telling you where you would find this to order number on the product or packaging. There are multiple numbers in different places on the packaging. I am absolutely astounded by their lack of customer service and their deplorable lack of help at every step. Is this how they get their products sold? You order something that doesn't work and then you can't return it nor get a refund because there is no way of doing it. Wtf!! Canada Pooch is making this experience so frustrating that I'll never want to buy from them again. Do you actually want customer retention or not??

Customer service is poor. Suspender Boots (pink)doesnt stay in place and rotates. Despite my husband's complaints, they say it's because we're using the wrong size or it's not tight enough. My 64-pound shepherd-husky mix fits size 3, but the back paws are defective. Other colors may have the same issue, but the pink one definitely does.

I don't recommend purchasing from this company. I had quality issues with the suspender dog boots within one month of purchase and after reaching out, was told that it was due to improper care of product. They also hadn't asked for further details regarding my complaint. Very disappointed and won't purchase from them again.

Went by their sizing guide strictly and even sized up the product was much too small and tight. Only used once with loss of fur and skin abrasion but when customer service contacted nothing they could do not even a discounted larger size. I see now why customer service never gets above two stars and would never buy again

Horrible quality and horrible shipping.
Why does it take like a whole month for the damn boots to come in?? Within 3 days of wearing the suspender boots, the velcro has fallen apart. They wanted me to submit a ticket for it, which took about 2 weeks for them to get back to me, then offered to replace the item or give me a gift card. I also bought a slush suit, for which the sizing is rather off. Had to exchange for a bigger size, but they made me pay for shipping. The item was literally returned within 2 days and then ONCE AGAIN, it took them about 2-3 weeks to even begin shipping the replacement.
I just ordered the rain boots and it's been weeks with nothing in hand. It's been in "pre-shipment, awaiting item" since 1/24/26, but it was ordered about 2 weeks ago, of course. What is up with this company?!? I will not be buying from them again.

Compagnie charge me 2 time for my item.

Purchased Canada Pooch softshield boots from Ren's. They said to return them if they didn't fit. Unfortunately, after a block, a tiny tear appeared in the bottom of one. Perhaps it had already been there. Who knows. Ren's gave me the runaround and told me to call Canada Pooch. I have renewed faith in customer service as they sent a new boot off and I had it in my post box within less than two days. Bravo.

This is a company that offers no warranty on their product. The Velcro straps didn’t last 3 outings before starting to fall apart and the boots started tearing apart at the stitching between the top and bottom parts. They blame the customer for the failure of their low quality product. I will never buy another Canada Pooch product, garbage made in China.

Beware the online sizing tool.

I would like to rate this more highly because really the puffer is very well made. However, sizing is problematic. We had a size 16 - too small. Then a 20, again using the website measurements - too big. Surely size 18 would be the goldilocks size. Nope.

I think it's like how clothes are made for plus-sized individuals. They think that everything is in proportion, that if the person weighs 200 pounds, their arms are likely 2 yards long. But they are not.

We have a mixed breed dog that has is rather broad chest, but long, narrow neck (Mookie is adorable and looks like a largish rat terrier). If the finance people had sprung for 2x the length of velcro, the size 18 would have fit perfectly. Instead, I can put three fingers or more between the neckline even having shortened the front of the coat a bit.

I'm not going to bother sending it back because it's winter and Mookie needs a coat, but I am disappointed because, really, it's quite well-made. Just not for any dog that does not have a linebacker's neck
