I purchased a set of L/R X active speakers online having waited for quite a long time for the orange colour to become available. They arrived beautifully packaged in less than 24 hours and they look amazing. Sadly I had to go away almost immediately so can’t report in depth on their performance but I am slowly switching from these days unreliable Sonos to Cambridge Audio and have not been disappointed yet.

The speakers arrived at the selected locker on time, and the packaging was in good condition.
The speakers are very well built, and setup was easy thanks to the instructions on the Cambridge website. I mainly use the speakers via Bluetooth, and so far I’m satisfied with the sound and dynamic range these small speakers can produce. It’s important to choose their placement carefully, as it greatly affects the sound response.

Had to cancel my order (due to my own circumstances). Customer support picked it up quickly, handled it adequately, and I got my refund within days. Hope to be a (real) customer again!

Excellent product. The notes, clarity, noise cancelling quality, everything is top notch. The only issue is when switching the connection from mobile to a laptop or vice-versa. The switch should be seamless but isn't. Audio starts lagging when you switch and then one needs to switch the headphones switch off and on again. Other than this I am really happy I bought the Melomania P100 SE.

Very quick Delivery

I am a certified Melomeniac at the age of 63. My first LP was a present of my father, when I was 12. It was the nothing else but Wish you were here: Pink Floyd, which had been released in Germany in Q4/1975. The reason why I mention this is, that a long with the LP I received a Sennheiser HD 414. It explains, why I am still listening to special music in special moments/ moods with a headphone, independent from my HiFi-Equipment.
That finally leads me to Cambridge Audio. A company I became aware of a few years ago, when I was seriously looking for a very good Streamer and bought the famous 851N, which still delivers an outstanding performance. Upon having made that very good decision, I started digging deeper into Cambridge Audio and was surprised by their product portfolio, their quality and innovative approach that meanwhile should be described being the unique soul of the company. There is a coherent strategy behind their new product introduction. I may say this, as I have bought 8 different units and recommended another 10+ to my musical friends. The last product I bought, was the A100, which is the best in-ear on the market. Even hard core Apple users are getting more & more surprised and decided to change.
Another criteria for this undervalued company is their Customer Support Organisation, that is a benchmark in the industry. As I work as the Head of Global SCM, I have implemented many Support Organisations around the globe. A function that is often totally underestimated. At Cambridge Audio you get what you need: listening to your problem, providing almost immediate service/ solutions/ alternatives. It is the direct interface to the customer and gives you the important feeling, that you are in good hands. I had contact to various contacts over the years, sometimes asking for an idea, rather than a raising a complaint, and always received a kind and thoughtful response. This is no longer a given these days.
My last sentence to come back to the A100: I have a Tidal FLAC Abo and use Tidal on all my devices. When I am travelling, I listen to my playlists sitting in a train, ANC ON and enjoy a sound quality that covers [20 - 13Khz]. It is more than 13Khz, but I am honest, when I tell you, that I can’t those frequencies anymore. The dynamic though, you get in high-end quality, is amazing. There is a warm distinct bass, which is imminent for me and my music, accompanied by a well spread frequency over the mids and the heights. It is a pleasure to listen, as if the band would play in front of you.
Chapeau Cambridge Audio for your continuous innovation and world class support. I still don’t understand, why your Marketing Communication is limited, or may I say focused by purpose. There are not many people in my network, that know the company. On the other side, their is nothing better, than having a clear firewall onto the mass media products, that overflow the younger generation with anything but HiFi. I think I just answered my question. 😂
Keep on doing a great job for the Melomeniacs; they love your products for sure. I recently bought my son an Evo One & a 🎧 P100 SE. It is his first HiFi experience and he and his girlfriend are just happy. He is 32 years old and I felt that obligation, to protect him and finally open him the only right path to enjoy listening to HiFi. 👏🏼

Actualy the ampa Cxa81 is good in sound, i brought it in the year of 2023, its in sounds very good . But its give me problem exacly on the third year, sound off itself and for a while it was hanged ..cannot use remote or the stanby power to off. Need directly of main supply than only off., i send it to the expertise to troublshoot than they say the motherboard. Neet to change, my question is why within so good and branded part can be spoil so easly.. is it any issues in quality assuarance..on that model. The part also not so cheapl itu , can i get any proper.. answer regarding of this...

Cambridge audio A100, I have bought these as a replacement. I have had the Cambridge audio Melomania and Sony mx4.

The crafting of these headphones is simply beautiful, great sound, with the introduction A/B amps these really impress. Fabulously wide ,rich full range sound stage, genuinely the best I have experienced from any headphone let alone buds.

They are super affordable no fuss controls the ANC is very good but suffer in windy situations, very comfortable, and the biggest thing for me was introducing LDAC.

Everyone should seriously give these a try no hype, hard sell they speak for themselves.
