What a wonderful weekend we had with Caledonian Travel in Llandudno. The food, entertainment and hospitality were great.
We stayed at the Grand Hotel and whilst the room was basic, it was clean and comfortable which was adequate for the amazing price we paid!
Well done one again Caledonian Travel!!!

Brilliant service from from start to end

Had a fab 2 day trip to London and the Harry potter studios. We had a slight blip in that there was no tickets for the whole coach when we arrived to the studios. Our driver was fab and whilst it did take a little while, he did manage to sort them and ensured we still got our full 4 hours in there. I think there should definitely be charging ports on long journeys and the coach wifi didn't work however it was still a 5* trip. The hotel and food included was fab and I would definitely book again.

The driver Robbie was great and made the travel a great experience but the Georgian hollies hotel in Blackpool that we were at was a BIG let down the lift kept breaking down and the rooms were dirty but staff were great but food not to good

Everything was great with the coach travel food was good but the hotel room was a bit tatty

I wish there was an option to add a review without any stars, as that’s truly what this appalling company deserves .
We have used the company for many years, and have previously left very positive feedback. However, there appears to have been a significant a detrimental change to the management as our recent experience has been horrendous.
We had booked a couple of trips with them in September and October, and we contacted them to make them aware that my mother was on life support, and we were extremely worried about her. The company showed zero compassion and refused to move any of the planned holidays to future dates, which is something they have done previously.
They informed us that there were new terms and conditions and that they were unable to move the holiday because of this, which meant us losing a significant amount of money during an incredibly stressful time. They also intimated that the situation was our fault for not purchasing insurance with them! The very same insurance that wouldn’t have covered my mother’s health in the first place!
We were shown zero compassion and we have shared the experience with friends and family, and they have all agreed to never book any holidays with this company due to how we have been treated.
Caledonian could have moved at least one of the dates for us, but they chose greed over compassion and that’s not a company that we want to support anymore.

Another great holiday started with mark the driver interacting with everyone from picking us up not like normal when they don't speak until everyone has been picked up.hotel was good bedroom could do with upgrading but staff and food were spot on had a great holiday thanks to all.

We just returned from 5 day Scotland getaway, had a lovely time. Firstly the hotel , room was fine, we had 4 drinks vouchers each day which was very nice, I'm not keen on Carlsberg so paid £1 to upgrade to Poretti very nice. Food for the most part was good except sausages at breakfast, looked ok but tasted like freezer burn, nobody on our table had them again. Worst meal was vegetable curry really poor tasteless. Everything else was fine. Just a mention to all the staff worked very hard.
The excursions, day 1 Oban, was good, weather was excellent .
Day 2 optional, either free day in and around Arrochar or Glen's and
villages or Glasgow both £15 pp.
We opted for Glasgow, city tour on the bus, then dropped off at transport museum. It was very good not enough time to take it all in ,1 hour 30min. Could of spent 3 to 4 hours there.
Then into Glasgow for free time, unfortunately it wasn't for us didn't like the city at all. The bus comes out of the city it passess the transport museum maybe give people the option of not going in the city but having a decent amount of time at the museum thats my thought on the day.
Day 3,
Coach to Fort William, lovely journey stunning scenery on a lovely sunny day. Driving through Glencoe a couple of photo stops brilliant. We didn't have the train ticket for Mallaig but bought a single from the station with railcard £22 for 2 of us. Again stunning scenery, the coach picks up in Mallaig it's a long drive back, 3 hours but again stunning scenery. Our driver for 3 of the 5 days was Richard, very knowledgeable a credit to the company. It's a long time since we've done this sort of trip,will definitely do more, top tip sit back and relax because your on the bus an awfully long time.

Second visit in a month because we loved it first time. Everything was great except the driver. He was so grumpy he didn't even introduce himself or state what hotel we had stopped at (there were 3). Apart from that another great 4 day break to the new southland hotel which was fab as always.

We thought our driver today for the Pickering 1940 day was very good, very knollegable and friendly. Thank you Eric

Returned yesterday from Isle of Wight. Stayed at the Shanklin Beach hotel. Lovely area. The hotel was quite run down and out dated but our room, beds and bathroom were clean and housekeeping were in daily while we were out. The Caledonian drivers Big Dave, Little Dave and Dominic were fantastic. Very professional, polite and friendly. The tours they took us on were lovely and their knowledge of the island vast. Lots of sights to see and interesting landmarks and stories along the way. Could not fault the drivers at all. Would definitely travel with these guys again. Thank you Big Dave Little Dave and Dominic you made our holiday very enjoyable.

Booking process was easy. And the members of staff was lovely taken the booking.
