If you think I am going to have the decency to answer either if your many many different numbers will I won't...
Calling from a local area code isn't going to work either!
Also calling outside "standard" so called working hours also won't work.
I did answer once months ago and was a stupid robot recorded voice.
If you were proactive you could easily send a letter with a PAYMEMT PLAN outlined and I happily agree but then again likely send to my DMP Company I use and you get around £2 !
Stop harassing "POOR" PEOPLE.
I'd be embarrassed to work for a company like yours!
And your so called 5 star reviews are likely totally untrue and totally made up.

Cabot has ignored my documented financial deficit since 2019. Despite being a vulnerable customer, I have been hounded by 'rotational dialling' from 11 different numbers. They claim their “cherry picked” 29 calls in 60 days isn’t 'excessive,' ignoring the multi-channel pressure of daily calls, texts and emails over several years. They have failed in their Consumer Duty to avoid foreseeable harm. I have now formally escalated this to the Financial Ombudsman Service. If you are being hounded, don't stay silent—complain

And still they harass! Have ignored requests for proof of the debt several times over now. Not providing this is breaking the law.

Now ask yourself, why would a legitimate company that is owed money go to all the effort of sending endless emails and letters begging for money when they could just fill out a form at a Court and force payment legally? Or send an email with the credit agreement?

Could it possibly be because they have no evidence that a debt exists and they are desperately praying on vulnerable people to believe their bull in order to get them off their backs?

Meanwhile, in the real world, my credit file is clear and the company they claim I owe money to is sending me texts everyday wanting me to spend the credit they have offered me.

Just doesn’t seem to compute with them and it’s not complicated.

No proof from them, no cash from me.

Remember folks, once a debt has been sold, paying means the money goes to the debt collector, not the company. CCJs stay on your credit report for 6 years, paid or unpaid. And debt collectors have to provide evidence, otherwise they are operating illegally.

No one likes debt and it’s always a worry when it come your way but the set up and payment plan offers were so easy and a massive relief

I want to give a good customer service experience about this company they resolve my issue quickly and quickly I'm happy for the service when I spoke to them over the phone they were very politely and they told me they will resolve my issue and everything so I want to give a excellent rating to this company thank you

No-one like to be in debt, but Cabot really made it easier to sort it out, patiently listening and understanding my situation and allowing me time to make amends.

I am an Equity Release advisor. I reached out to Libby at Cabot after months of no movement, Libby managed to resolve the issues for my client and the case can now proceed. Before I spoke to libby, it was like banging my head against a brick wall. My client is also very very grateful for all that she has done!! She is a credit to the team and the service she gave really stood out from anyone else I have tried to get an answer from. Be more like Libby

From day 1 of contact they set me a target I could afford.
I could of changed the monthly amount at any time if I couldn't keep up the amount. Very very understanding and helpful .

Trying to collect a balance that is made up of 60% interest and charges refusing to look in to the matter instead threatening court action….. bring it on you can explain to the judge….

I can't go further back then the date I put but when I had to set up payments it was straight forward, easy talking, easy mentality, easy going. I like I can make a payment anytime higher then an greed one and still stick to the greed payment schedule. The only thing I don't like is reviews every so often about personal circumstances..payments it's just a hassle I find... like if anything had changed I would of contacted them.

This company are trying to get an alleged debt from my wife from over 20 years ago, but not able to supply any agreement. They harass constantly with emails and letters to my old address. I will be reporting them and advise anyone else to.

Update - they have admitted wrong doing and wiped the debt!! Anyone else trying don’t give up and seek some financial advise. It’s worth it.

Thank you for being patient and keeping my accounts up to date

I have a payment plan in place which I have never missed a payment. Spoke to Caroline today who appeared not to accept that I’m not in a position to increase my payment plan. She wanted me to increase my plan by £11 but I felt under so much pressure that I did say I would increase it by £1. She was insisted that it should go up by £11, she did not appear to be happy with this and I stated that if she continued I would end the call and this is what I did.

Been paying back and almost 60% of debt. Every month get a payment. But they constantly bombard me with letters and calls. Borders on harrassment even when you’re paying.

They say it’s because they want to help. They offered me a one off payment at 30% of the debt. When I rang to try and sort out they said the date had expired and now it was 80%.
