How far should I place the speaker down the canal? I’m honestly not knowing if I’m feeling the difference or is it the issue I’ve mentioned.

Perfect Phonak set up at Southend hearingcare!
I had very expensive, top of the range hearing aids for seven months during which I had seen 2 other audiologists regarding the hearing aids performance and I was still not satisfied with the performance of the hearing aids. I arranged an appointment at the Southend-on-sea branch of boots as I was planning to visit Southend for a day out so I thought a third audiologist maybe able to help.
Gwen at Boots Hearingcare was superb! A friendly discussion regarding my previous issues (Gwen had read my previous history before the appointment started) led into a detailed explanation of how the hearing aids had been set up and what changes could be made to enhance their performance. Gwen knew every detail of Phonak’s software and showed me which modes my hearing aids had been operating in over the previous seven months, whilst being professional , helpful and demonstrating great knowledge.
Finally, after 7 months, I have a pair of hearing aids that live up to the hype and the price. I can honestly say that the hearing aids have been transformed and the one hour 45 minute drive to Southend was well me truly worth it, all thanks to Gwen!

Hearing Test
Audiologist was extremely polite and very competent, listening to my concerns and answering questions thoroughly. When she was unsure of an answer sought advice from a colleague and provided a satisfactory response. I was totally reassured throughout the experience.

Better hearing.
The operator explained the aid very well. I really have felt the benefit. Just a word of caution. My first email followed the payment of my deposit so before I received my hearing aid.
