Boots HearingCare and it’s strap line - Hear For Life is an absolute joke
After finally persuading our aging & vulnerable aunt into choosing Boots as a ‘private’ purchaser for hearing aids, it should be put on record that their ability to deliver a full & compelling ‘customers experience & service ’ is nothing more than shambolic.
Cancellation of ‘general’ service related appointments are just the norm and on more than one occasion, happy to take your hard earned money upfront, but the overall service level has never met our expectations.
I for one will never recommend Boots HearingCare to any family or friends, so please beware - what you expect is not always what you get !

Clear helpful advice
Hull Boots Audiology was GREAT!
Darren, my audiologist, was super helpful making sure I understood my options, and helped me make an informed decision on a valuable investment which I think will really improve my daily personal and professional life.
Honest, clear and reassuring
I had my hearing care appointment with Nicola, who was amazing. She was clear and honest throughout my appointment, and made me feel really at ease- learning you have hearing loss in your early twenties is life changing, and Nicola made me see the positives.
Good experience
I was pleased with the service I received from the guy from Hull who did my hearing test. He was not pushy and was patient through the whole appointment (approx 1 1/2 hours). He explained everything in an easy to understand way. He advised me of the different types of hearing aids that would be best for my hearing loss. There was no pressure to buy there and then. I did decide to order some at the time, he took moulds of my ears as I wanted the in ear type.

Appointment cancelled for the fourth time. I have been without aa aid for several weeks now. Deplorable service. Go elsewhere.

Melanie was very good patient & explained ea ch part of procedure also talked through each type of aid and their special function. Thorough hearing test carried out . Happy with service . I must admit I was rather shocked at prices of these aide .

Nicola, the audiologist was friendly, professional, and helpful. There was no pressure to rush into buying, and explained everything in detail. I would recommend using her services to anyone.
Pleasant experience of what could be a daunting one
Got seen to right on time. Pleasant room for test and audiologist explained everything from the off. Even the sound-proof room was pleasant and didn't feel closed in because of the windows at the side and in the door. When it came to choosing a hearing aid again everything was explained and I had only a few questions at the end because of this. Staff very pleasant
The care and support was excellent
The care and support was excellent. The final arrangements were perfect including discount on the final price and allowing to extend the use of the trial set. This whole experience has been life changing and I couldn’t have asked for better support. Many thanks to Nicola Hassall.
