Chris Lambert was very thorough and explained what he was doing and why. When he asked me to go outside and try the product I was amazed at the difference and improvement the aids gave compazred to my current items.

I had an email notification that my insurance for my hearing aids was due on Tuesday 21 July. I wanted to cancel it as they are already covered in my house insurance.
When I spoke to their adviser, I was told I couldn’t cancel without 4 months notice! Crazy!
I have t contact them I Apr/May to cancel!
WHAT A RIP OFF!
I will certainly not renew and will advise anyone NOT to use them!!!

The original appointment was just for 15 mins , when , after the test, the audiologist told me I had mild to moderate hearing loss.
The second appointment was longer and more thorough hearing tests. At each stage he explained what was going to happen next.
The third appointment was only a week later, and this was when the hearing aids were available and the fitting took place.
Although I was worried about which hearing aids I should go for, the experience was good , overall , and the audiologist was very calm and knowledgeable about the different types , and helpful.

Sent you an urgent email 3 days ago which you have ignored. I will shortly be returning the hearing aids and demanding my money be returned.
I've never experienced such a rubbish company where so much money is involved. You haven't even acknowledged my second payment.

Lijo Stephen was excellent. Dealt with wax problem and gave careful clear instructions on how to approach it in future. Gentle, uncritical manner.

Our experience was very positive. There was time and space for questions, the audiologist was clear, just the right blend of professionalism and friendliness. So far (as it’s early days) we are doing well with the changes. It’s my husband who has the hearing loss, and I am supporting him through the transition, listening and learning myself.

The technician explained the possible options very clearly and placed the order for the devices I chose.

The overall test was thorough and very well executed. Compared with other high street companies the boots hearing test is able to provide a good analysis of hearing capability and the specific hearing device required.
As a general comment I still consider hearing aids are over expensive and need to be reduced.

The Agent/Technician was friendly and helpful. His accent was strong and took me some time to attune my ear to it. I was allotted 45 minutes and he allowed me a further 15 minutes but his was still not enough time to process all that information.
I was left a booklet manual which has been useless to me. Afterwards I went on the App, at the Technician's advice, which has proved to be very confusing. I feel like I'm fumbling along not really knowing if the aids are working or not.
One aid fits really well and I can wear it for hours without even being aware of its presence. The other one is very uncomfortable and when it becomes painful I have to remove it.
Overall - I felt some pressure to buy the aids then and there, and would have liked a 'next day' session to fit and learn the aid's benefits. I have another appointment 3 weeks after the original session, (that is because of diary clashes) but it still feels like a long time to not know if I'm using them correctly or how the App works.

In December I went for a hearing test. I was advised to go for two phonak hearing aids. I have had them since then. The phonak app is hopeless. It drops out continually. I have had to reinstall it three times. I made an appointment to sort this out. The audiologist advised me of a new app done by boots. It doesn't work. After 7 attempts to install the rh hearing aid he gave up and said it might be better at home. It wasn't. I am back on the phonak app with all its problems. Very disappointed with the back up. How someone non technical is supposed to cope with this is beyond me. My advice is to go to an independent or elsewhere. Lastly on three visits the audiologists office had never been cleaned or hoovered.

The gentleman whom I saw to have my hearing checked was extremely helpful and explained everything very clearly, very professional with excellent communication skills.
