Phonak hearing aids, not worth the very high cost
I purchased a year or two apart, two sets of Phonak hearing aids. I thought I’d lost the first pair 😰.Cost me £3000 a set. The audiologist that sold them to me told me that they included lifetime care and servicing. I’ve also been told, now ,to expect the product lifetime to be 5years……. . I had no idea that at £3000 a pair that they would last a shorter time than my watch, Tv, radio, iPhone, IPads and the variety of gadgets around me.
The persons in the call centre try not to address the commitment originally made to me and repeatedly fob me off.This started when I tried to get them serviced and the Boots Ashford audiologist started to tell me about costs and life expectancy of, of the aids.
I have not been that happy with them and certainly most unhappy with Boots customer care.
With regards to the automated response, I’ve been in contact every day for a week so they actually do know how to contact me!

Didn't feel rushed at all. Lots of information given to help me choose the correct hearing aids and support once I'd chosen.
Friendly staff.
Just a shame management still haven't fixed the air con! How staff and customers are expected to cope in those conditions is beyond me.

Very poor aftersales
Very quick to sell their expensive hearing aids and set date for checking if they ok ok only for them to cancel appointment the same day by email.
Product battery lasts only 6/7 hrs so tried to return product only to find the person in the department not working today (Thursday) and other staff told me to come back tomorrow. I live 25 miles away. So no one working in boots could credit me. It seems that boots hearing is a completely separate company working part time. Very disappointed ☹️ ☹️ ☹️

Hearing blues disappear
From booking my first appointment to finally choosing my hearing aids the service has been quick ,efficient and expert. Everything about my hearing loss was explained very carefully and understandably.
Brenda the audiologist is a very polite Knowledgeable health care professional.
I felt at ease , all my questions were answers to my full satisfaction. Good customer service and looking forward to getting my new hearing aids in two weeks time.

Very supportive, knowledgeable and professional service! Brenda answered all the questions and as a good sales person sold the top hearing aid! Look forward to getting the hearing aid and having my hearing difficulties resolved.

Your audiologist Brenda Shrewsbury, she is absolutely brilliant. My ears were so waxed up but she managed to solve the problem and advise me on new hearing aids.
