Great Customer Service!!!
I was shopping for some shoes for my daughter for Christmas, this was the only place online that I could find them. Ordered and had them shipped in time for Christmas, but the delivery somehow got rejected and sent back to the warehouse.
I called customer service and the woman I reached put me on hold, went to the warehouse, found the returned box, reshipped it two-day air (no charge to me) so it would be there in time. They made it on time and they were a hit.

I had an amazing experience my first time shopping at Boot Barn. The staff were friendly and offered advice on fit.
I purchased Ariat jeans. I’m a size 2/4 and a 26R in the Perfect Rise Boot fit. Try them on. The perfect rise are an ideal fit. They make your butt look amazing while keeping everything else in place. They fit just right even after I washed and dried them.
Given a chance, they'll fix it.
I had an issue with their gift card provider, Buyatab. After nearly 10 calls and two emails in a 24 hour period to Buyatab, with no answer or reply, i reached out to Boot Barn customer service. This was their reply. I'll never do business with them again.

Since both posting this review and responding to said email, Boot Barn responded in less than 24 hours. From what I gather, the person responding was just as amazed as I was at how Haley had replied to me. I was assured that the issue was to be sent up the chain, although I'm sure the final result will never be relayed outside the office.
I was offered a hefty percent off any order and, after having relayed my order number and that I turned down the added 10% military discount, they applied that, as well.
For what it's worth, I got the careless employee of the day, Boot Barn realized it, and made it right. Therefore, I'm revising my review to 5 stars, since it's simply not fair to chop down the tree from one bad apple.
Racist in stores and overall greedy company
I’ve spent thousands at boot barn but I have had three times where I’ve been followed in the same store I’ve spent most of those and I swear theyre being racist they don’t seem
To keep such a close eye on anyone else. I was straight up accused of stealing once. That’s in store.
Online points are missing and the site constantly glitches when I have a point balance and the balance will go away before the deadline it tells you
I contacted them once they “gave my points back” as a one time courtesy it litwrally did not show up at all I never got them back
I don’t have anything good to say and quality is continuing down with more polyester than leather or cotton available and prices through the roof

Terrible Management Yuba City
Management of Yuba City location blames all their failures on the seasonal employees and partners for not making sales goals. All they are capable of is barking orders at employees. There's no positive coaching, no motivation or inspiration to perform. Had I known what a disorganized mess this business was, I would have never accepted the position. There's absolutely no joy or sense of fun working at this location. For management there, all there is is more negative pressure to sell. They claim the little training on there products and services are helpful but they put you in zones to work where you have not been trained and then criticize and threaten to send you home for not selling more products. Would I recommend this as a good place to work? No.

Ordered a T-Shirt online on the 12th of November 2025 to be delivered to Australia. They estimated delivery by the 19th of November 2025. Money debited to my credit card immediately but no T-shirt. I have followed up with customer service 4 times since the 20th of November but not one reply. It states on their website that they aim to get back with a response with 24 hours. This company deserves a kick in the ass - this is totally unacceptable - at least respond to follow up emails about where the product is as I have not tracking number. Disgraceful.
No tracking information
No tracking information, order not ready on time and I can’t get any information on the location. I cannot cancel the order as they cannot find the boots! About to submit a fraud claim with my CC company. 2025 and there is no detailed tracking information available for my order. Subpar performance! Update: 12/2 still no word on package location. How do I change from 1 star to ZERO. I have already purchased a pair of boots from Cavenders which is where I will purchase all boots and FR clothing in future.
Poor customer service.
I went into the store to purchase some clothing.
Upon entering I was not greeted by anyone. I walked around and was never asked if I needed assistance. The employees looked at us but we were never acknowledged by anyone. There were at least 4-5 employees in the middle of the store standing in a circle talking, one had a name tag that said manager. The store was not busy at all, maybe 4-5 customers in the store. Very poor customer service.

The "Boot Barn" garnishes you in 25.00 coupons that you have to wait a month to use. Boot Barn, at this rate, it looks like you'll be packin. You cant treat us Connecticut folk unjustly. I have THREE useless 25.00 dollar coupons. You have ONE LESS customer!!!!

I think the store is well stocked and the employees do ask if you need help. My issue is when you order something and it arrives at the store, there is no follow through. No one calls and says your item has arrived. When we went to the store just to see if the boots had arrived, there were probably 30 other orders sitting there. Surly instead of talking amongst themselves about non work issues, these employees can make a phone call. These boots were needed for an occasion and it is a good thing we checked.
Faulty goods. Boot Barn won’t refund return delivery fee even though their fault
Ordered online for delivery internationally and received faulty goods. Returned by mail and Bootbarn charged me for the return cost $50! And refuse to refund the return shipping even though they admitted the goods were faulty and was their fault. Shame on you Bootbarn! Seems illegal practice for a large business
Bad customer service won't be back
First timer, went to Boot Barn in Natick MA and spent a total of 191.94. I live over an hour away and when I got home the Tough Cover for boot tips that I got for my boots that I purchased was hard as a rock the apoxi was old and dried out. I called the boot barn and explained how I live a distance away and if I could handle the return by mail and/or if they could send me a replacement. It was only 17.00 but the point is the person I spoke to was extremely rude and said that they would call me back and never did about how to handle this transaction. Needless to say I won't be back I usually spend about 500.00 per year on work boots so they lost a customer !!

Alicia from MIchigan at the Indianapolis Castleton store was very very personable and helpful. I bought a hat that day because whe was so helpful.
On the other hand, there were 2 other ladies working there who I had asked some questions about hats that could not have cared less about whether they helped me or sold me a hat. Talk about bad attitudes. They should be replaced. And your hat steamer needs replaced. Broken. I have hats I bought from this store that need reshaping but no one there has a clue about when you are getting a new hat person and new steamer. Unfogivable for a western store.

The boots were crap after 4 months
The boots were crap after 4 months. Both pairs. So stop clai.ing they last 1 year if theyre used heavy. 2-4 if you dont .i doubt that

I wouldn't give any stars at all. I ordered some lovely boots and was very excited to receive them. They were delivered in good time, but were the wrong boots, different to the ones I ordered - wrong named boot, wrong colour, wrong size, wrong toe shape. They were a pair of clearance boots. I emailed customer services several times. No response. The website site claims response to email within 24 hours! I returned the boots requesting a refund and advising I should not have to pay the return shipping as it was not my fault they sent the wrong boots!! Fortunately, I have received confirmation of refund but they have deducted the expensive shipping costs!! Unbelievably terrible customer service. So disappointing!!

Ordered boots online because the store didn’t carry narrow men’s boots. I ordered 11B boots, they arrived in a box marked 11B but the boots were actually 11D, too wide for me.
I took the boots into the local store and was told that Boot Barn never sells narrow boots. The store manager didn’t know what narrow means in a boot, she kept asking me if I needed a wide boot. Now why would Boot Barn offer B sizes on line and go to the trouble of printing B size boxes? Makes no sense at all. Better yet why would you be expected to pay $300 for boots that don’t fit?
