Never Again

Good evening,

I’m writing regarding an issue I had with a purchase from Boot Barn. I was invited to an event at Boot Barn in White Settlement, TX. Although I live in Dallas, my sisters live in Fort Worth so I thought it would be a great outing. There was a jacket I wanted but they didn’t have the size in the store. They told me I could order it online with them so I told them I would like to do that. What I thought would be a simple, quick, efficient process has turned out to be draining and frustrating. The lady that was helping me ran into difficulties, she was not knowledgeable and had to ask several coworkers how to get the order processed. After about 25-30 mins, there was still issues. She pressed submit and my card was charged. However, the handheld device read an error. The lady asked another coworker and also showed her where the charge came out of my bank. She took my name and number and said she would call a number later to get the actually order number then call me back. Well, that was Saturday. Here we are today, I called the Galleria location to see if my jacket had arrived….nothing. In fact, they couldn’t find the order. I called White Settlement, again no one was able to assist me and also could not find the order number. This took time and effort for something that I should not have been doing. I had to call customer service in which they gave me a refund but yet, I don’t have the jacket I wanted/ordered. I consider my time as important as anybody else’s so it’s very unprofessional for me to have to call around after being told I would get a call. Seems like everyone was so busy trying to rack up sales that they forgot to take care of the one that had left the store. I’m not satisfied at all. My sister went to the location near her house to see if they had it after hearing how upset and disappointed I was. She also had to pick up an online order so it happened to work out. She explained to the cashier what happened with the jacket. She then asked if she could try ordering it again and using the $25 off $75 couple she got from ordering boots. The cashier told her the coupon was not valid for online purchases. That’s pretty ridiculous considering if you had the merchandise in store I would be able to use it. Again, who’s fault is that? She then told the cashier not to worry about it bc after Saturday’s experience and this experience, she would be contacting corporate and leaving a review. The cashier Kat then called over someone name Rhonda who was able to use a WHIP code to get the jacket ordered and the $25 taken off. My jacket should be here in a few days then my sister will get it to me in Dallas. Who would have thought we would have such an experience with Boot Barn?! No jacket. No proof of purchase. No one with any empathy. No one with any clues to help. No solution besides a refund. What ever happened to great customer service?! My sister has after this first time experience with boot barn, it will also be her last. Time, convenience, gas and patience was all wasted in an effort to buy a jacket I liked. So much for this experience. She got the jacket ordered but I’m not even sure I will enjoy having it at this point. We’ve wasted so much of our time trying to rectify this that it has just left a sour taste in my month. I’m definitely an unsatisfied customer!!

I was shopping for a dress boots

I was shopping for a dress boots. I was greeted at the door, which was very nice. I proceeded to go over to my size boots tried on three different pairs ended up liking a brown pair with a nice heel that I could wear with dresses. Was taking them off to put on my regular shoes when the same salesman that greeted me at the door came over And asked if I found anything I liked and I said yeah. I jokingly said I love these. I wish they came in a distressed black. I said I like the distressed brown, but a distressed black would be fun. There was what he thought was a mark on the boot From taking it off. He accused me of making that mark I said they’re distressed. I thought that was part of the boot and it’s been there the whole time I didn’t make that when I took the boot off. He then accused me again and brought over the boot remover and said you need to use this when you take off the boots And I said well I didn’t make that mark he goes well. These shouldn’t be on the shelf. they’re damaged. Did you know I was going to buy those boots. Me thinking that was part of the distressed look that was already on the boot when I tried it on. He was so rude. He lost my sale. I proceeded to let some of the other employees know that I felt he was rude. One of the other employees said I was just gonna come apologize to you for how he acted and a third employee suggested. I write a Google review. This was at your new smoky point location in Washington. And I believe the road salesman’s name was Jim. Definitely older than the other sales people on the floor and he definitely had a chip on the shoulder.

I received EXCELLENT service from them and Shepplers
I had to change an order and return all in all they were amazing with me, I highly recommend this company

Absolute worst customer service

Absolute worst customer service! Store manager followed us around complaining that we were taking the boots off the shelf and he had to put them back. We weren't finished trying them on. He just kept putting them back. Then he hovered around too long and when we said we might have to come back with the right socks, he told us to buy socks there. We went to the counter and asked to order a new pair instead of the scuffed ones on the shelf, and use the 15% new customer coupon. He acted like he didn't know what we were talking about. He was rude, incompetent and treated us like we were dumb and kids (we are 63 and 27). Tried to order the boots online and the website wouldn't take more than one gift card. Then it declined a credit card several times when there was money in the account. Reading some of the other reviews, we should check our bank app to be sure we weren't charged several times. What a rip off. Absolute worst retail experience. Hope they go out of business in Hamilton, NJ.

Bad service

Bad service. This took place at the Ft Worth location. I hate to accuse people of the R-word but that's what it felt like. As if I wasn't welcome. I shopped there before and this is the first time I had this experience. I went in to buy pants and no one came to help. I rang the dressing-room bell twice and finally someone came and opened the door. I was hoping they would of stuck around to see if I needed help but they left. I finally went to pay and I was next in line and the girl just walked over to the other register and stude there with her friend I'm guessing. She then said "oh are y'all ready to check out". I laghed because we walked up while she was still there. Then she asked if anyone helped me shop and I said "not at all". Rather then saying something along the lines of - oh sorry about that, she just wrong me up and gave me my bill of sale. I got the feeling like only elderly white people came first. Hate to say it in this day in age, but I grew up in Palm Springs in the 80's and 90's so I'm good at recognizing the behavior.

Terrible experience for an international order

I made an order in November, the website asks you to enter your address and it automatically populates it for you. When I checked my confirmation they hadn’t logged my house number so I tried to contact them to have it added. I emailed twice and was ignored, I rang them and after spending 10 minutes with the operator asking me about what it’s like in England the call dropped and I couldn’t get back through (this call got me nowhere and cost a ton!),I emailed their international fulfillment partner and was ignored, I messaged them on Instagram and was ignored until I messaged multiple times, a few days later they said they couldn’t help me to add the house number to my address and so would cancel my order and I’d have to reorder. By this point it was the beginning of December. (To add, I still haven’t received any acknowledgment of these emails and calls)
I reordered, and when after 10 or so days my order hadn’t been dispatched I contacted them again on live chat on their website to be told my order would be dispatched when they had received all my items to one place to avoid further taxes, I accepted this and went about prepping for Christmas. Today I contacted them again to be told that my order was actually cancelled on the 12th December because my items were out of stock (they were in stock the whole 12 days until this point but because they hadn’t dispatched for weeks, they had gone out of stock from their Black Friday sale) and they had emailed me, I argued that I hadn’t received any emails or a refund and they admitted that they actually hadn’t emailed me to let me know or refunded me.
I asked for a refund and to have a confirmation of cancellation, the lady I was speaking to said they’d send it and didn’t sent anything.
I contacted them again to request confirmation of cancellation and a refund and it turns out once again they hadn’t requested the refund or confirmation of cancellation. It took me threatening to report a fraudulent transaction to my bank for them to finally send me an email to say they’d cancelled my order and would request a refund, so as of now my refund has only just been requested and will take 5-7 working days. A week before Christmas. Oh and the item I ordered has now gone out of stock absolutely everywhere because it’s right after Black Friday so I’ve had to change my gift plans and spend a fortune to get quick delivery (and spent a fortune in phone calls to speak to them!)

Always amazing service from the team at Boot Barn. Quick shipping and the one time an item wasn’t in stock, I got notified and refunded within 48 hours

Website is Terrible

The website is terrible. I had to try multiple different web browsers just to get checkout to work, only to have it charge two different debit card attempts and deliver me a "transaction declined" message each time (even though the charges went through). I called Customer Support, but they were not helpful; even the support person admitted their website was garbage more/less. I will not be attempting any additional purchases. Shop elsewhere, people.

Boot Barn professional customer service!

I am totally impressed with a young sales lady named Anna. She tried to help me find a boot that I liked, to no avail. Finally, as I started to leav, she ask if I wanted a boot like I was wearing. I said yes! She said she would order it for me and have it shipped to my house. She got the model number of my boots and ordered them. I received the boots 5 days later. Exactly what I wanted! A Perfect transaction. Anna saved me a bunch of time and frustration by thinking on her feet. Her desire to make me a satisfied Boot Barn client is strong and authentic. Thanks Ms. Anna. I’ll be back!

The jacket was perfect for my…

The jacket was perfect for my girlfriend. However the incentive of $25 on my next purchase had a much too short window to redeem. I went on vacation shortly after I received the coupon and did not return until the coupon had expired. The window for redemption is much too short and a bit misleading as an incentive.

Four Stars

I had a pretty good shopping experience because everyone was very helpful. I just feel like the store is too crowded with inventory and it's hard to look through the racks without becoming overwhelmed. The clothes are slammed tight against one another. I couldn't give five stars because of this and the fact that the women's restroom was filthy and broke down.
