Honestly I wonder why flight centre takes a long time to refund monies ..it's been 6 weeks waiting for my refund .Will love to travel during the holidays but I cannot cause I paid a lot of money trying to travel with my kids but were denied a board by emirates agents

Supplier refunds are done in bulk and are processed to Flight Centre on a weekly basis. The same has been set out in our terms and conditions. Debited R36 000 for nothing
We bought a ticket online for R36000. The money left our account, but we were informed the ticket wasn’t available by the time the payment was made?! We were told the payment would be reversed that day only to be told the next day when we phoned to query why we hadn’t been refunded that it could take 3-5 working days. We have paid for something Flight Centre didn’t sell, after advertising it and now they can’t make an immediate payment back! The customer doesn’t get 3-5 days to pay! They are a company , we are the customers. Unacceptable, if not illegal?
We have been refunded since posting this, thank you trustpilot.com

Booking is easy but refunding of a deceased passangers ticket is another story. Flight centre did not submit all the documents that I forwarded and not it is my responsibilaty to proof everything! Of course!

Over the last 2 months
Over the last 2 months, I’ve sent 2 queries to get a quote for 2 trips for 4-6 people each trip, with all information outlined about the trips and what we require.
I’ve called more than 5 times, the second time, someone finally answered but then hung up on me as I mentioned when we booked to go to America, we didn’t pay via humm so I was confused about the payment options - we paid through an interest free payment plan that was setup directly from Flight Centre and we were just paying the trip off direct to flight centre until 2 months before we left and I was enquiring about this but wanted to book these flights.
Three more times I tried, no answer.
I walked in to a branch and was told I have to make a booking to be helped in a branch.
I call that branch and the phone isn’t answered, 4 times. I go online and try to book in to that branch but there is no way I can book in to visit a branch via the online services?
I have vouchers I need to use at flight centre. Honestly feel hopeless, can’t get anywhere.

I purchased my flights online
I purchased my flights online, however when I went into the Somerset Mall branch, the Flight Centre branch were quite rude, when i asked for information regarding the VISA requirements.
The call centre was also not helpful.
This made it seem that FLIGHT CENTRE were NOT a one stop shop for travelling abroad.
