Bidvest Bank Holding My Refund – No Action, No Accountability
This is completely unacceptable.
A refund of R292 was processed to my Bidvest Bank account on 2 July 2026 (Refund ID: TP-********************-p01, Authorization Code: 567723), and to date the funds are still not reflecting.
I have provided the bank with full proof of refund, including the authorization code, yet there has been no resolution and no meaningful feedback. I am repeatedly ignored or told the matter will be “traced” with no actual progress.
According to the merchant, the refund should have been processed within 5–14 business days, and even allowing for delays, this timeframe has already been exceeded.
This is now a case of unacceptable service, lack of urgency, and zero accountability when handling a customer’s money.
If this is not resolved immediately, I will escalate this matter to the Banking Ombudsman and relevant regulatory bodies.
I expect:
- Immediate location of my funds
- Clear and final feedback
- Urgent resolution without further delays
Bidvest Bank needs to take this matter seriously and resolve it NOW.
