Nasty little company claiming to be a …
Nasty little company claiming to be a social enterprise but operating with huge corporate greed. Since they took over they have scrapped the discount for disabled swimmers, hiked general prices and removed the direct phone line so you cant ring to complain - in anticipation of a huge rise in complaints no doubt! User numbers for the swimming pool have declined since taking over so expect they will throw the towel in, in a year or two, again due to gross mismanagement.

Thanks for your review.
We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with our management of The Sovereign Centre.
We still do offer discounts for concessionary members and free resident memberships which provide discounted rates to residents of the area.
As a Charitable Social Enterprise, we are a non-profit so, I am sorry if you feel that there is 'Corporate Greed'.
We do not feel that this is accurate and we want to support our members in Eastbourne by providing the best possible service and facilities and this takes investment, so whilst some offers that were previously available are not anymore, there are other options which may even be Better than was previously offered.
None of our centres, UK-wide, take calls. This is so our staff in centre, can support our customers face-to-face, without having to run off to answer the phone in the middle of the interaction.
By having our UK call centres taking customer queries by phone, email, chat and via contact-us page, this frees up our centre staff to provide the best customer service in person!
Again, we are sorry you are not a fan but hope we can change you mind in the future!

Accidentally purchased a Better health…
Accidentally purchased a Better health Junior inclusive gym membership. Payed £20.91 but realised it was wrong so requested to cancel membership as i cant use it since i dont have proof of eligibility. Since my next payment was due in less than 20 days i still have to pay the additional £16 a month even tho i cant even use the membership. Highly disappointed . Please fix this system its unfair.

We understand how frustrating it must be to accidentally purchase a membership that you're not eligible to use. Our goal is to make our membership options as clear and accessible as possible, and we're sorry if this wasn't the case for you.
Regarding your cancellation, our policies are in place to ensure fairness for all members, however you would still be able to utilise the membership until this expires.

Sebastian enjoy his swimming lessons
Sebastian seems to enjoy having his swimming lessons. I'm really pleased because his fear of learning to swimming was helped by the teachers who were nice and patient with him.Many thanks xx

Helpful staff and pleasant atmosphere
Great reception staff and Babba was very thorough with his gym induction
Good value for money
The only downfall is the changing rooms do need a good clean as lots of hair in the water gulleys when I last went swimming
