A Good Leisure Centre
Overall I enjoy visiting this centre and particularly the swimming pool.
In comparison with other centres it is great value and at times when it is quiet it feels like my own private pool but better because there are lifeguards!
This centre does get a little busy at peak times particularly with children's swimming clubs but I do feel that the centre tries to accommodate everyone equally and listens to feedback.

The gym has a variety of equipment and is clean.
The studio room for classes is not very big but is sufficient for the numbers allowed in each class. The class instructors are knowledgeable and run excellent classes.
The aqua aerobics classes held in the swimming pool area is well managed with excellent instructors.
My only comment relates to the showers within the swimming area which needs to be improved. On a number of occasions the water from the showers are either too hot or too cold. The area is small and insufficient when a large number of people leave the pool after classes or a school group of children .

Great value gym
Great value gym. They have stepped up at Chingford as much cleaner, all gym equipment in good working order (unlike Nuffield) and some new classes . Great experience and helpful staff. Thank you!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
I give 3 stars because the pool at Better Chingford is quite cold for the children.
Also, which I find very shocking , the staff is walking on their trainers in the pool environment. Please, enforce your staff to wear dedicated flip-flops for hygiene and safety reasons!!!

Staff are excellent and friendly.
The receptionist was excellent by patiently walking me through booking a swimming lesson on your app. The website was difficult to use.
The swimming teacher, Patti was also excellent and made the most of every minute.
You need to remove your shoes before entering the changing room so it's a good idea to bring a pair of flip flops.

Cihan and Georgina have been absolutely amazing! Cihan is an incredible teacher who has not only helped our daughter improve her swimming skills but has also greatly boosted her confidence. His kindness and patience truly make a difference. Georgina is equally fantastic—such a compassionate and wonderful lady who always goes above and beyond for the children. We feel so lucky to have them both supporting our little ones. Highly recommend!

If i could I would of gave them no stars. My experience with their service has been beyond a joke I was mislead by the services online, after finding out that I had to pay extra to use their health suite i've asked for a refund was approved over a month ago and still have not recieved anything yet. When they went to upsale me they called me I payed extra to get all the services, then went to the gym to have the staff say that the suana not included with this membership this
happens all the time. Dont toich this company if you want good a good service your better off with nuffield at least they do what they say

First swimming lesson age 4. Teachers were welcoming and friendly and put children at their ease. Teacher in the water was engaging and encouraging but not pushy. Child loved their first lesson.

Memberships unclear, wrong one set up! Staff unable to help and unable to contact anyone. The bottom line is I've paid £80 for one swim!!!

However, depending on the membership type you have purchased will depend on whether we are able to make the changes on your behalf. If we are unable to assist you with the changes you would be able to request a refund so you can re-join again online for the correct membership type. If you require further assistance please let me know so I can look into this further on your behalf and let you know your options.
