This rating is for Bensons’ delivery service and communication, not the transport team, who were absolutely 5-star.

Our experience was awful from start to finish. We had arranged delivery for Wednesday between 7am and 9am and even received a confirmation call the evening before. However, at 8am on the day of delivery, we received a phone call informing us that our bed would not be delivered because it had not been loaded onto the van. We were then asked if that was okay, despite the fact that we had already booked a day off work specifically for the delivery.

We were subsequently told that the bed would be the first delivery the following day. Once again, after spending the morning chasing updates and taking another day off work, the bed still did not arrive.

The only reason this situation was eventually resolved was thanks to the transport team. Geoff was incredibly helpful and arranged an emergency delivery, getting the bed to us within two hours. James and Jayden, who delivered and assembled the bed, were fantastic—friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. They put the bed together without any issues and were a credit to the company.

The transport team deserves 5 stars for their efforts in rescuing what had become a very frustrating situation. Unfortunately, the overall experience with Bensons’ delivery scheduling, communication, and organisation was extremely poor, resulting in two wasted days off work and a great deal of unnecessary stress. Without the intervention of Geoff, James, and Jayden, we would likely have been waiting over a week for delivery and left without a bed to sleep on.

Excellent customer care & support at the shop. Delivery came within 2 hour window, as previously informed.

On the hottest day …30 degrees plus. Andy and Sean arrived on time at midday. They unloaded the extremely heavy matress and carried it some distance to a first floor flat. They unpacked and installed it without any problem and were extremely pleasant. I cannot thank them enough.

Sam was very helpful, told him exactly what we needed. He gave us information on the different types of mattresses and let us try them. I would definitely recommend your company.

Delivery was good but did not receive all of my order 6days later still have not

The whole process was very straightforward. In store, there was plenty to see and try out. The staff were helpful and informative. The delivery process was prompt, efficient and I was kept informed at all stages.

The company has made a bed that is so comfortable and only regret I did'nt have it sooner. Staff were O.K my initial visit was rather longer than I expected, the assistant kept disappearing, I was'nt quite sure I was making the correct decision but thankfully I most certainly did. Delivery was O.K they did just what they had to. I would recommend Bensons for beds.

The sales assistant Lianne was fabulous, from start to finish, no pushy sales just great advice. The discount was great and the bed I chose is great really comfy!!

The customer service was good and helpful

The process, from choosing the right mattress, to purchase and delivery was seamless. The salesman (forgot his name) went to great lengths to ensure we got the right mattress for us and didn't push for us to buy a more expensive option either. The delivery guys made what was a rather tight manoeuvre upstairs look like a walk in the park, with no 'scrapes' or damage. Would definitely recommend Benson's.

First of all I cannot thank Mo and Adam enough for their friendly professional customer service. They really are the best of the best in their knowledge and experience of purchasing a new bed and mattress. We had to exchange our mattress as it wasn’t for us and they made the whole experience a breeze. Thanks guys for helping us out, would buy from Benson for Beds again.

We bought two mattresses from Bensons for Beds in Stockport. We are very pleased with both. We were served in store by Mohammad Adia, who was really helpful in explaining the various nuances of each mattress. He was very well versed with the products and displayed an extensive knowledge on the build of the products. We would highly recommend visiting the branch in Stockport
