Great shopping experience at Southport store
My sister was looking to replace an uncomfortable mattress she had bought elsewhere. She was able to look around and try several beds and mattresses before Emma the lovely assistant found us and stepped in to listen to what she was looking for then used the sleep machine results to offer suggestions as to what may be a good fit. We went and had a break then returned to retry a couple of the mattresses and finally decided on a divan base and eve mattress. Emma was knowledgeable, helpful and patient during the whole shopping experience, we asked a lot of questions. I’m looking forwards to the bed arriving and being used, fingers crossed!

Great shopping experience
I went into the store to browse for a new bed and I already knew which bed I wanted however I did not go in to purchase it right then and there. A gentleman called Glenn came to help me with any questions I had about the bed. He was very knowledgeable, listened to my needs and was not pushy when I said I didn’t want any extra stuff just the bed, mattress and the frame. There was also a massive sale going on, so I decided to buy the bed that day. Glenn made my shopping experience very pleasant, nothing worse than a pushy sales person trying to convince you that you need everything they have on offer. This was the Bensons Bed in Southport. I would 100% recommend them!

The service in the store was good
The service in the store was good, but I cannot say the same for the delivery service: the new mattress was delivered on time and it was placed on my bed, as per the terms of the £50 delivery service. However, after several sleepless nights as the mattress was extremely hard, unlike the one I tried in the store, I discovered by chance that the label stating the firmness was upside down, so the mattress waa placed the wrong way up. I almost spent a lot of money on a mattress topper, but it was sheer luck that I discovered the truth. A very poor but expensive delivery service which would put me off using this store again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us Linda. I’m really sorry to hear about your experience and the inconvenience this has caused. While I’m pleased the service in our store met your expectations, it’s clear that our delivery service fell short, and I understand how frustrating the situation must have been — especially after several uncomfortable nights and almost purchasing a mattress topper unnecessarily.
I will ensure this is fedback.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and I’m very sorry that your experience has left you feeling hesitant about using us in the future. We appreciate your honesty and hope we can restore your confidence in us,

Good experience
Ian, the manager at southport was informative and helpful and not "pushy" which was appreciated. He seemed genuinley to want the best bed (mattrass) for me.
The delivery process went like clockwork and the two guys were quick and efficient.
OverallI couldn't criticise any aspect of Benson's service, hence the 5*
