Buying the bed was pretty simple process in store with delivery date confirmed within 24/48 hrs of purchase. About 3 weeks after this confirmation received notification that delivery was going to be delayed by a further 2 weeks (appreciate Christmas period may have impacted this slightly)

Being kept informed of delivery, tracking availability on the day and call from delivery team an hour before drop was really great. The two dropping the bed off were superb and really helpful.

Upon building the bed we noticed there was an issue and a couple of parts were faulty - contacted Customer Services (easy enough and a really great advisor) and replacement parts have been ordered, but here’s the kicker - I have to wait somewhere between 7-14 days for these to arrive so have a half built bed….

I get it, issues happen but being left in the lurch isn’t so great….lets see what happens next as this is the key part, there’s an issue how good are the team at Bensons in resolving and preventing a nightmare……

Customer service is second to none. One of the good guys 😀
Everytime we’ve been in store the staff are excellent, Alex looked after us this time and was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

Very efficient service. Staff not pushy at all. Delivery date was also good, not weeks away. Hopefully the mattress is as comfy ax it was in the shop..
Also a good variety of prices for those with different budgets.

Everything from the purchase in store to delivery and Installation was perfect. All the staff were professional and helpful. Lee and Jay the delivery boys were amazing. They respected my home like it was their own.

My order was delivered to the wrong address. I waited for two hours and checked the delivery status, only to find that it was marked as “delivered.” I contacted customer service, who confirmed that it had indeed been delivered to the wrong address. The mattress was eventually retrieved and delivered to me late in the day.

My entire day was wasted waiting for this delivery, and the mattress arrived dirty. It has now been booked for cleaning by the Emiera team. Overall, this was far from a good experience.

I have had several other issues with Benson and would probably not buy from them again.

I'll leave the old review up but it turns out the customer service rep overestimated his cars ability to carry the two Simba Lux matteresses, He's arranged their move today, still one star off for lack of communication.

It was made known I absolutely cannot accept a week day delivery, the agent offered to have it delivered to the store, and bring it to me on saturday the 13th of december, I waited in all day, no sign, I lack the means to move the two materesses I have been waiting for, I am thoroughly dissatisfied.
No phonecall or email explaining why no delivery, nothing, I do not spend two and a half thousand pounds to get nothing, I do NOT.

The staff in the shop were great and I am happy with the product. I really think the arrangements for delivery are too rigid. There is very little opportunity to choose a time which suits your circumstances. My partner is home every day from 2.30 so you would think it would be easy. When they contact you they want an immediate answer before you can discuss whether the day is good or not. They make no allowance for people out at work who can't take time off at will. It needs to be more flexible for the customer . Wouldn't it be better to have an agreed date and time rather than failed delivery attempts and emails that create stress for customers and only provide very limited options. I would think twice before making any further purchases.

All promises made in the showroom were met, delivery was on time and professional communication was regular and accurate

I recently purchased a new bed from Bensons for Beds in Nottingham, and I have to say that the service I received from Prakash Vaghela was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I walked into the store, Prakash made the entire experience effortless, enjoyable, and genuinely informative.

He took the time to explain all the different bed and mattress options in clear, friendly detail, helping me understand what would work best for my comfort and lifestyle. His knowledge was incredible—not just about mattresses, but also about pillows, frames, and even the side cabinets that would complement my room. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured; instead, Prakash made sure I had all the information I needed to make the right decisions for myself.

Thanks to his patience, expertise, and genuine care, I walked out confidently knowing I’d chosen the perfect bed, mattress, pillows, and cabinets. It was honestly one of the best buying experiences I’ve ever had.

If you’re looking for exceptional service and someone who truly knows their stuff, I can’t recommend Prakash Vaghela highly enough. He’s a credit to Bensons for Beds and a pleasure to deal with.

Worst Experience – Damaged Delivery, No Support, Weeks Long Delay & No Wardrobe in the End and not deserve a single star.
We ordered a wardrobe well in advance (18/10/2025) for our new home, trusting Benson for Beds because of their reputation. Instead, we received one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever had.
On 14/11/2025, the wardrobe arrived damaged, mouldy, and completely unusable. We rejected it straight away. What followed was a chain of poor service and lack of accountability.
Customer services told us:
    •    Replacement would take 4–8 weeks
    •    Refund decisions take 10 days
    •    “Nothing can be done until next Wednesday” because it was a Friday
They then told us to visit the Nottingham store. I went the same day around 6:30pm. The store staff were not apologetic, not empathetic, and told us:
    •    “I didn’t deliver it so I can’t do anything.”
    •    The manager was “out of the country”
    •    And to come back “tomorrow” anyway
No one atleast apologized for sending a product with moulds, even if it is a serious health risk for my wife.
We wasted an entire day calling customer services and visiting the store, being passed around with no one taking responsibility.
It took sending an email to the CEO before anyone finally contacted us — and even after that, they still did not actively follow up or provide a proper solution and we have to chase them every day. We were told they were still waiting for a reply from their supplier for almost a week, leaving us with no wardrobe and no timeline.
Eventually, we had no choice but to request a refund.
We received the refund, but no compensation at all, despite everything we went through.
We ended up:
    •    Without a wardrobe for our new home
    •    With wasted time and stress
    •    With no accountability from any department for sending a product with moulds and damaged
    •    And with extremely poor communication throughout
For a large, “reputable” company, this level of service is shocking.
Even small local merchants provide better service than this.
We will not be purchasing anything further from Benson for Beds and don’t recommend for anyone.

From showroom to bed assembly, good service and reasonable prices.

The bed was delivered Monday November 24th to my sister who has learning difficulties.
Both delivery men were absolutely brilliant with my sister.

I made a purchase not anticipating this, because the case was so convincing and am very happy with the product.. tailored the advice carefully to the client and listened very carefully to my needs. Good assessment tools. Could carefully gauge the mattress to customer needs.

Delivered on time. Very pleasant lads that installed the tv and bed frame.

Great communication from the start. Very helpful in store as well as the delivery men.
