What B 4 Bed won’t tell you and you pay for
I rarely leave reviews but I feel I have warn other not to fall into the expensive Benson For Beds mattress delivery trap. Did you know that most mattresses nowadays cannot be bent even by the smallest mount? Literally a couple of centimetres would compromise the integrity of any foam/gel/sprung mattress? No? Well nor did we. We ordered a super king gel mattress and were told to measure (which we did) and unfortunately assumed that there would be small amount of wiggle room, seeing as we had got a king sized mattress up there 10 years ago. But apparently not, We can only have an already rolled mattress for this bed in our house (which is not a small house by any means.) We were not told this at any point. So B 4 Beds then charge you a huge amount to take the mattress back. It has cost us approx £450, NOT to have a mattress delivered. The delivery drivers tell us that this happens every day, Bensons for Beds must be making a fortune out of it. In the meantime, we must start to save the money we lost and research other mattresses, obviously not from them! I hope other people can learn from this and pay the price (literally)

I’m very sorry to hear about the difficulty you’ve faced with your mattress delivery, and I completely understand why you felt the need to warn others—it’s incredibly frustrating to be left out of pocket and without the product you were expecting.
Mattress access issues can be complex especially for larger sizes and the iGel range as they cannot be bent or flexed without damaging their structure, and this is information our customers deserve to have upfront. I’m truly sorry that this wasn’t clearly explained to you at any stage in the process.
We will feed this back to ensure we make the necessary improvements.

After going to a few bed stores and being disappointed with the service.We arrived at Bensons and were greeted by Omar !!A breath of fresh air a lovely person !!We ended up buying a bed and mattress !Thankyou for you good customer service which made our decision so much easier .Highly recommend!!
