From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Jonathan who I informed of my requirements. He explained every aspect of the bed I was after as well as showing me comparisons. He was friendly and very experienced with his knowledge and made my whole visit and purchase a pleasure and fun.
I happily await the arrival of my new bed!

Absolutely terrible customer service after-care I’ve purchased a bed back in 2019 a Sealy super king with a 10 year warranty. I have a massive issue with the hydraulics not working as they should and also would that is coming out at the back of the base near the headboard Inside the bed with staples showing Which is a danger Of anyone going in the bed. I’ve contacted Customer Services . They have sent a technician out from emira He was absolutely disgraceful. No manage to take his shoes off coming in the property. Did it even know that he was here to look at the divan part of the bed He brought in a bag to look at the mattress. Really poor poor after-care with you having a 10 year warranty and staples are getting invisible in the bed weakening where the headboard is because it’s a super king headboard they’ve said the wrong tests that this bed withholds For 10 years or more, it’s obviously not doing his job and they are not taking any liability for a manufacturing fault. The same pieces on the super king bed is also happening on my son‘s Sealy double bed which is exactly same bed with exactly the same problem but to the technician and to Customer Services this isn’t a manufacturing fault. I would encourage everybody who are buying from Bensons Be mindful. After my chat with Customer Services, I rang one of the Benson stores for some further help the managers and the staff All agreed after seeing pictures of my beds That this is definitely a manufacturing fault, but Customer Services have done their heels in really hard and I’m not budging to sort this issue out for me after having the bed for five years. The technician came into my house and said if it was less than five years, I would’ve put this through. I would’ve got this for you. That was a customer when I seen the report saying it was all accidental damage of the hydraulics not working of the wood piece is coming out the managing one of the stores have said Not one bed in the stores have got any wood pieces coming out of it and they are getting used every day the hydraulics the wood pieces everybody is jumping on these beds all day looking at them for display purposes but the staff said that one of their beds have got wood coming out like this but Customer Services don’t want to take the liability of this saying it manufacturer don’t buy from Benson‘s cause the after-care is absolutely disgraceful. They’re talking to you also disgustingly rude when I said I want to take this matter further and complain just a manager got on the phone number is a repeating what her colleague said didn’t take my issue further.

We liked a mattress and the advisor who helped us was very knowledgeable and showed us alternatives and other ideas. It was a very easy and enjoyable experience in store.

They had one of all the mattresses I wanted to try, available in the shop. And it's a nice shop, too.

Downsides - lots more paperwork than I expected (it feels like buying a car) and you have to wait weeks and weeks for the mattress to actually be delivered.

Great service

No one in the store to begin with and I was left to my own devices. The staff member did appear and apologise as someone had phoned in sick and he had to see to a delivery.

Horrible mattress! I spent 1500 to buy this mattress and after a week mattress started sinking in my back. My back is ruined. I called the company they sent someone to check but he claimed everything seems fine and they wont do anything about it. Please don't waste your hard earned money on this IGEL MATRESSES.

Made welcome by Becca and her manager at Altrincham store. Very helpful to find us the mattress and bed frame we were looking for.
We had looked online at what we wanted and it was a fairy simple process to complete our order.

I am asthmatic, so after reading some reviews about the mattress I wanted to buy, I visited my local store in Altrincham to decide if it was the right choice. I was told that reviews are mostly when people are not happy. As the mattress was on show in store and I was told that the "off gassing is just the fire retardant and all mattresses are sprayed with it"! I trusted the manager Chris who reassured me it was not an issue - even though I explained again I had Asthma. After 3 days of fully ventilating my spare room with open windows (even though it's so cold) - fans - the toxic smell is still so bad it has made me so wheezy and I can't risk sleeping on this mattress! I closed the windows overnight for 6 hours and the smell hit me again. I had to use 3 times my normal inhalor to stop the wheezing! I could have bought a similar mattress online, but I trusted the name of Benson! I am not willing to pay 10‰ of the price I paid when I clearly told more than 2 members of staff including the manager that I had health issues!!! Disgusted with the whole process!

Walked into store and we were met by Jonathon , who was absolutely amazing- I am very fussy with beds and he was very patient and have to say he knew the perfect mattress that suited me !!

From the moment we stepped into our local store, Jack the sales person, was welcoming, patient and happy to answer any questions. He was a professional & courteous, making it a pleasant and stress free experience. His accurate guidance, enabled me to buy with confidence, the best bed to serve our needs. Given the high level of service, we will no doubt return for future business.

We bought a bedroom from Benson for beds a year ago, a few days ago we started smelling mold in our bedroom after inspecting the walls, carpet, window, curtains, and everything else in the room and finding nothing we started inspecting the bed and side tables and LOOOK AT THE HORRORS WE FOUND !!!!! HORRIBLE WOOD WITH MOLD SPOREA AND MOLDY FABRIC. This is a horror show. We’re expecting a baby soon and now we have to throw away a bedroom we paid almost €2k on !!!!!! Do not buy from this shop. Its a health hazard !!!! There is literally no mold anywhere else in the room and we keep a very neat clean house! We vacuum the bed frame from dust every week!!!! laaaaaast thing we expected was that we were sleeping on a mold bomb!

Purchased a Tempur mattress today from Altrincham. Excellent service and knowledge. We had done some research and our assistant totally put our minds at rest and confirmed our choice. Would definitely recommend.
