I have already left a Google review, but am so outraged with their response to it, that I need to leave one here too.
Sadly, this company really let me down. They didn't ask me any questions about my move, just asked me to complete a video of what I was taking. Whilst I most certainly do own I left some things out, they didn't ask me the nature of my move or take into account any of the belongings I mentioned in the furniture. I thought that would have been self-explanatory. The information they did have about my move was information I volunteered, which they got wrong in their response anyway. They didn't ask if we were completing on our house that day and in their response said we were completing 4 days later. It was my ex who was completing on his flat 4 days later. He had to go and stay in a hotel. However, if they knew we were selling, and from my emails, they knew I hadn't found anywhere to rent and I would let them know the address once I did, or put it all into storage, why not ask me if we needed the whole day (of course at extra cost) so they didn't book another job in case it was a bigger move? If the volume calculator actually worked, or they'd taken into consideration that we were completing that day, none of this might have come up.
So all in all, I paid over £400 to be left with half of my things to still move, a very stressful situation with a couch they said they couldn't take, even though it was moved an hour later by my ex and his friend and a broken lamp. Apparently, it was all my fault because I didn't tell the correct info on the video and I didn't let them know about my upsets until it was too late. Never mind the fact I was still moving for two days and had a 4-year-old to take care of full time.
I had even mentioned I would be moving again in 6 months as the rental I had been taking was only for 6 months and I'd be using them again. They will never get my business again, mainly because they didn't own any of this and only gave the option of it being sold to a debt-collecting agency if I didn't pay up. No sorry, no small offer of compensation, just blamed it all on me.

This is very tedious but all I will say to your last paragraph is that you didn’t ask me any information. Other than asking me to record a video, you didn’t ask me anything. Any other info you got was because I volunteered it.
You asked Trustpilot to remove my review because you said I was a scam. Easily resolved as I could show proof of my receipts and confirmation of booking email.
You don’t deserve to be in business and your communication is awful.

Hi Vicki,
When booking moves in for customers, we assess a video walk through, provided by the customer, to determine the time and resources required for the job.
On this occasion, you made us aware that you would not be taking everything in the property to your onward address. As such, we provided you with an estimate, based on our hourly rate to accommodate the items you told us were being moved.
We cannot set aside time for hypothetical situations, as I’m sure you can appreciate that it is our aim to keep our diary full! We cannot make assumptions, and can only book jobs in for our customers, based on the information provided.
We did ask you what the nature of your move was, and booked this in accordingly. We were informed that there were no time constraints as completion (which did not affect your part of the move) was happening 4 days later.
The outstanding payment related to the work we completed, based on our hourly rate - you did not make us aware that you were dissatisfied with the service you received, or felt the job was incomplete until 5 days later after we chased you to pay your bill. We usually take payment at the end of the job, however you had vacated the property before the team could discuss this with you, so you were provided with a payment link for this.
As we had not received payment a further 8 days later, we chased this and were met with your comments regarding the service having been unsatisfactory and that you deemed the job to be incomplete. It was at this stage that you informed us that you would not pay the full outstanding amount, so we made you aware that if this wasn’t received by the 21st, we would refer this to a debt collection agency.
In terms of your damaged lamp, you were made aware that any damages or issues needed to be brought to our attention within 7 days of your move. This was not reported until 13 days after your move.
Our office team tried to contact you on the day of your move to organise for a second team to assist with the job, however you did not answer or call us back. Prior to your move, we made further arrangements to accommodate the sofa you were concerned about, and offered last minute solutions to assist with storing the sofa. At every turn, we have tried to find a solution, however, you have waited to report all of these problems after the fact, not allowing us an opportunity to rectify them.
We thank you for making the payment, however, we stand by the service we have delivered. The issues you have alluded to have all stemmed from a lack of information being provided, on your end.
We wish you well in your new home.

I highly recommend Bearded Bros. My move from Brighton to Scotland was a hectic experience and the BB team really helped - they packed my stuff carefully and the guys were so calm and just made the day run smoothly. Thank you.

Exceptional service
My move on 20th July with Charlie and Craig from Bearded Bros deserves 5 stars or more. These friendly guys went above and beyond, even dismantling a large couch in the hot sun so that it could fit through the tricky entrance to my basement flat. They took such care with the loading and unloading that everything (including a picture my daughter made which is covered in origami stars) is in perfect condition. Cannot recommend them highly enough!!

I can’t rate this company highly enough
I can’t rate this company highly enough. On time, extremely hard working, friendly and competent. Completely put my mind at ease. From communication starting with a quote to getting a final invoice copy everything was responded to quickly and throughly.
My items were insured, the movers had all the equipment to protect my furniture in the van for the long drive and it was worth every penny.

Bearded bros removals have moved me twice and second removal as brilliant as the first. Very professional , lovely helpful guys, polite, on time , I find them the most reasonable priced removals , unbeatable. They made my move so easy and stress free. I would recommend them 100%. Thank you to Greg and his first class team.

Brilliant company, Spot on time, exelent service.
The two chaps that moved me to Peacehaven, were effiicient, courteous, and fast.
