Acquistato sul sito una giacca in data 1 aprile 2026, dopo solleciti e mail nelle quali chiedevo come mai ad oggi, 14 aprile 2026, ancora non fosse stato spedito, mi arriva la mail di annullamento dell’ordine, così, senza motivo. Spero di recuperare i quasi 500€ pagati. Da denuncia. NON ACQUISTATE SUL SITO

Ho acquistato due capi dal loro sito online . Ne ho restituito uno e adesso vorrei restituire anche l’altro ma, nonostante le mail e le telefonate( non risponde mai nessuno) non riesco a farlo. E’ veramente grave e offensivo, per me ,essere trattati in questo modo . NON COMPRATE DA QUESTO SIGNORI.

I have no idea where these bad reviews are originating from but I have never had a bad experience with Barbour. Every item my son and I have bought from barbour has been absolutely excellent quality, service and price. And we have bought quite a few things in the past years. I cannot fault this company on any aspect of their business. And yes, I'm a real customer, from Shetland, drive a truck and love Barbour. Simple. Maybe some folk are just too hard to please!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Barbour.

I purchased several jackets at the same time, and one of them remained unused in my wardrobe for a while. When I finally tried to wear it, I discovered that the material had become deformed and unusable—despite the jacket never being worn.

I took it to two different professional dry cleaners. Both confirmed that the issue was with the fabric itself, not dirt or improper care. Even after cleaning, the jacket continued to attract dust excessively, making it impossible to wear. They both agreed there was nothing that could be done.

I contacted Barbour customer service multiple times, hoping for support. After a very long delay, I was simply told that the jacket is discontinued and no longer under warranty.

This response is unacceptable. A premium product should not deteriorate like this without even being used. This clearly points to a material defect, not normal wear and tear.

I expected far better quality and customer support from a brand like Barbour. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my perception, and I would not recommend their products based on this.

Ordered jacket for delivery but it did not arrive as expected. Contacted Barbour they were not interested in helping.
Some days later an elderly neighbour contacted me and said she had a parcel for me with my name on it but with her address.
It transpired that it had been ‘delivered’ by leaving it outdoors on her patio.
She rarely goes out and didn’t know it was there till a friend took it in for her after it had been outside for days.
Got the parcel and Barbour had wrongly addressed it.
Contacted Barbour again and their curt reply was ‘DPD delivered it.’

Ordinato un Barbour Ashby di Lunedì sera, consegnato il Giovedì pomeriggio dal corriere. Mi ero spaventata per le molteplici recensioni negative ma io posso testimoniare l’esatto contrario: articolo perfetto e tempi ridottissimi. Non ho avuto bisogno di effettuare il reso, quindi non posso esprimermi riguardo questo aspetto. Comunque la mia esperienza d’acquisto è stata TOP!

Questa è stata la mia prima esperienza di acquisto online su Barbour. Purtroppo, non ho ricevuto risposte al telefono e le email sono state gestite con notevole ritardo. Inoltre, la tracciabilità del pacco non era visibile sul sito, costringendomi a cercarla sul sito del corriere. La giacca, comunque, è stupenda e conforme alle aspettative. Consiglio di acquistare sul sito, ma senza aspettarsi una risposta immediata o un servizio al livello che ci si aspetta da un brand come Barbour. Il prodotto è ottimo, ma l’esperienza online potrebbe essere migliorata.

My wellington boots didn't even last a year, hardly worn too and they developed a split in the left one so when the grass is wet my foot is always wet so not fit for purpose as I can only wear them on a dry day which is pointless isn't it. Because I couldn't find the receipt they wouldn't do anything for me even though they look like new. I thought buying Barbour I was buying quality and something that would last, should have read the reviews first!

Vestes matelassées et/ou huilées :
1- exagérément longues
2- adaptées à aucune température, (trop chaudes au dessus de 14 degrés trop froide en dessous de 10)
3- qualité générale : ultra médiocre
4- prix : totalement injustifié

A- Entreprise familiale depuis 5 générations qui ne veut pas faire évoluer et donc renouveler, sa gamme de produits comme son rapport à sa clientèle.
B) complètement sourde aux avis de ses clients même les plus fidèles
C) Incapable d' entretenir un circuit commercial de boutiques dynamiques à l' écoute de leurs clients
CONCLUSION :
La marque Barbour est devenue l'archétype de la marque trompeuse et méprisante :
-A l'égard de ses propres aine(es) à qui elle doit rien de moins que sa notoriété et ses rentes...
- Et de sa clientèle actuelle désormais sciemment trompée a chaque achat !

Azienda seria, ordinato , qualità ottima, ma ho dovuto fare un reso perché il modello non mi stava bene, in sette giorni vedo già il rimborso in banca . Un consiglio , se non vi rispondono all numero indicato sul sito dei resi , telefonate ad uno store che vi danno un numero della Signorina che si occupa dell online. Comunque ho già riacquistato un altro modello

Sizes stop at 2XL, what is it with these people and their superiority complex only offering petite people sizes. I don’t want to spend more money on an already expensive coat for it to fit me. Honestly feel quite discriminated against, any major online brand at least goes up to 3XL. Lovely products but honestly quite disappointing.

I sent a 35 year old Burley coat back to Barbour to be cleaned and rewaxed.
Unfortunately DPD lost it when it was being returned to me.
DPD were appalling and didn’t seem to care, they just eventually referred me back to Barbour.
Barbour were excellent. Once it was established that DPD had lost it, I was told to choose a new wax coat from the website, my fee for cleaning and rewaxing was refunded, and, if the original ever turns up they’ll return it to me also.
There’s no way of replacing an irreplaceable iconic coat, but Barbour have done all they could be expected to do.

Got in touch after a compartment of my Barbour hanging washbag started unravelling at the seam, they offered a replacement straight away after providing some simple details. Victoria in the customer service department made the experience efficient and a replacement has already been sent. Thanks you for providing excellent service!

Giacca Barbour Classic Bedale acquistata nuova nel 2021.

Nonostante un utilizzo del tutto normale e conforme alla destinazione del capo, la giacca presenta oggi evidenti segni di usura e rottura che ritengo anomali rispetto all’età del prodotto. Considerato il prestigio del marchio Barbour, nonché il posizionamento e il prezzo dei capi, ci si aspetta una durata decisamente pluriennale e una resistenza superiore alla media.

Proprio per il blasone e la reputazione del brand, questa situazione risulta per me deludente e distante dalle aspettative che accompagnano l’acquisto di un prodotto Barbour.

Visited your Livingston store after hearing good things, I can only say I was disappointed. Stood and looked at your to till staff that would rather laugh and joke than help customers. I was ignored by every young member of staff only was helped eventually after I asked a lady who was putting stock out if she could help. But the whole experience left a bitter taste in my mouth.
