Would give 0 stars men’s blue long wellies worn no more than 20 times and both on the back seam back of the ankle location are coming apart letting water in, complete rubbish your just paying for the name will never buy hunter again !!

hunterbootsitalias.com Il sito dal quale ho acquistato gli stivali è questo, non so se sia vero o no ma a questo punto credo di no, è un mese e mezzo che ho fatto l’acquisto, dice sempre consegna fallita perché non sono riusciti a contattarmi ma la consegna è in un negozio su strada. Mi sembra una truffa bella e buona, vado a denunciare ai carabinieri perché ho provato a scrivere e non mi risponde nessuno.

My boots split within a couple of months of part time wearing them, so I am well within the warranty period. This company has no decency to its clients, and has no intention of honouring the guarantee.
Hunter are using their past reputation to sell low quality goods at top prices. It is no surprise the company went into liquidation some years back. I hope it goes bust again so that other people aren’t conned out of their hard earned cash.

I got my boots 2 days ago and…
I got my boots 2 days ago and immediately returned it on the same day. I was not happy for the fit. At first I want to exchange with another style of boots but I just can’t find any so I opted for full refund. Now here’s my problem, they charged handling fee. YOU CANNOT PENALISE YOUR CUSTOMERS JUS BECAUSE THEY ARE DISSATISFIED WITH YOUR PRODUCTS. You are the only company I dealt with charging me handling fee for return.
Appalling expensive boots
Never ever going to buy this expensive brand again. The boots split and the soles have no grip and are lethal.
Avoid if you’re on a deadline
I ordered umbrellas on a Tuesday with next-day delivery, specifically for a trip later that week. By Thursday, I still hadn't received shipping info. While they refunded my shipping cost immediately upon emailing (a sign they knew there was an issue), the promised "same-day shipping" didn't happen. The items arrived the following Monday—six days late. My subsequent attempts to reach customer service for updates went ignored. I'm hoping the quality is better than the service, though recent reviews have me concerned.
Boots are absolute rubbish
Original chelsea boots have split in several places after just two years - out of warranty, of course! Wish I’d read these reviews instead of assuming they’d be the same quality as my 30 year old wellies!
Extremely Disappointed -Won't buy anything again from Hunters
I have a pair of the Hunters wellingtons, on the inside facing of both feet on the crease line where you bend your foot when walking both boots have cracked on the crease, the LHS worse than the RHS.
I keep my wellingtons indoors and always clean after walking, so that cannot be a cause.
I did have a previous pair which did the same, but as I had had for a number of years I put it down to wear and tear as I had used a great deal.
However, this is not the case with this pair, I contacted Hunters direct informing that I was extremely
disappointed that this has happened, considering the cost ( £125.00) as you don't expect this to happen at all, but it is now on 2 pairs I have owned.

I didn't purchase directly from Hunters.
However I did think that they would have appreciated feedback, it could be a fault etc.
OR may have offered a token of something as a gesture of goodwill, but NO, NOTHING.
I will never purchase anything again from Hunters for myself or any other family member.
There are plenty more providers out there providing excellent quality products for a fraction of the cost.
Terrible customer service
All my family have hunters wellington boots and all are the neoprene ones costing quite a lot of money for wellies but we thought we went for one of the best we only wear them very seldom I have had mine for just over a year and it is now leaking so as a wellington boots totally useless I took them back to the shop and they said out of guarantee get in touch with hunters I did that and their customer services were awful not helpful one bit I will never buy hunters again simply for the fact they don’t care my advice either buy cheap ones that do the job or buy le chameau
What a shame that this company doesn’t…
What a shame that this company doesn’t support with returns. The boots did not look like the colour on the website and the coat’s fit was not clear from the images, so sadly I wanted to return the items. I have been told to organise my own shipping and ensure that I pay for insurance. Sadly, I will not be buying Hunter via mail order again.
Disappointing Customer Support & No Flexibility
I purchased a pair of boots from Hunter on 9 January. Unfortunately, the boots were too small and I was unable to wear them.
I travelled abroad shortly before the return window closed and, by the time I returned to the UK, I had missed the return deadline by just 2 days. I contacted Hunter immediately, politely explained the situation, and even offered to provide my flight tickets as proof that I was out of the country.
Despite this, they refused to make any exception.
I fully understand that companies have policies. However, customer service is also about discretion and reasonable flexibility — especially when:
The boots were unworn
The delay was only 2 days
Evidence could be provided
The request was made in good faith
This experience has left me with a brand-new pair of boots I cannot use and no support from the brand.
For a premium brand that promotes quality and heritage, I expected a higher level of customer care and understanding.
Very disappointing.
Not good
Was bought a pair of wellies for Christmas last year and they have started to peel.. I sent pictures of them to the customer care team and no help at all! Wanted proof I where I purchase them from. I could not that as they were a gift.
Overpriced rubbish made in China.
For the premium price, I expected these boots to last for many years. Instead, they fell apart within two years, with the soles detaching and causing leaks and wet feet. Given the poor quality and manufacturing, these are absolutely not worth the money. Overpriced rubbish made in China.
Poor quality / Poor customer service
Just bought a 200€ raincoat in collab with Hunter: plastic button broke after 1 month. Ask Hunter or Maison Kitsune just for the replacement of the plastic button: impossible from both side. It’s not luxury if they don’t serve the customer. Luxury is all about the customer experience. This is just a shame, for a 1 USD button!!!
Cheap wellies
Cheap wellies, worth looking at reviews before buying these expensive wellies as you'll pay over £100 and then have to pay £10+ for the cheapest option to return them as the returns aren't covered in this "luxury" brand. You'll get a lot more for your money with a lot of different alternatives.
Extremely Disappointed With Poor Quality Of Winter Boots
Overpriced and constructed cheaply. I purchased warm winter boots for my daughter and gave them to her on Christmas Day 2025. It is mid February 2026 and the boots have holes in both feet. The inexpensive winter boots purchased on Amazon BEFORE the overpriced Hunter boots are still completely fine. I contacted customer service and received what is probably an automated message, but nothing beyond that. I am extremely disappointed with the Hunter winter boots and regret spending so much on a substandard product.
Poor quality.
Had my boots 3 months. Use them most days to walk the dog a few miles.
Leaking already!
Do not buy from Hunter
My hunter boots of 5 years has cracked and leaked. I made the mistake of ordering new ones but realised I forgot to enter my promo code after I had already submitted my payment. Within 6 (SIX!) minutes of the order, I contacted Hunter to cancel the order. I got an email response 22 hours later that the order was already too far along the fulfillment process. Whether thats true or not (I have not received dispatch or shipping info), it was definitely not too far along the process when I emailed them (the only way to contact Hunter) 6 minutes after the order.
Now my only remedy is to RETURN the boots and pay for return shipping.
This is pretty bad customer service and I should have checked trust pilot before I ordered.
There are a lot of boot sellers out there (Mucky, Le Chameau, Barbour, Uggs, to name a few) so I strongly advise that you do not purchase from Hunter.
