Had an excellent service from Avant Homes when looking for our new home. We went to a few developments to see different house types and staff were so welcoming and helpful. Made the process so much easier than we thought it would be. Special mention to Ruby & Kornelija at Seely Fields for outstanding customer service with a friendly manner.

I was attended to by an Avant team member called Poppy, I would say , she is the best I have spoken to on all my dealings . Very respectful, kind , and supportive. Would go over every question with me..I am impressed. Thanks Poppy from Avant team , nice work today .

Laura at Smithy Wood Gate, Dodworth was very helpful. Friendly atmosphere. Clear information. Sensible advise. Laura was able to answer all our questions. Laura is very knowledgeable and patient. Laura gave us all information we needed to make informed decisions.

The sales person at the site was really helpful and answered all our questions.

Had Andy Jones come round to sort out some snagging issues related to door handles, doors and insulation. He fixed the doors that we had issues with, also fixed the door handles (one of them i told him about today). After he checked the rest of the door handles in the house then went up in the loft to check the insulation was installed properly over one of the bedrooms . Really nice bloke and it was a nice touch to check all of the other handles in the house and even fix an additional handle he was informed about today.

We have just reserved are forever home - Plot 163 - at Bennerley View. In what turned out to be a frantic process of selling our house, we cannot thank Sarah and Kornelija enough. They have made the whole process of securing the plot a breeze and kept us up to date as things progressed.

Julie and Keith have both been amazing, so helpful and gone the extra mile 🤩

Andy Jones popped in to fix a few problems and he was very progressional, approachable and helpful! He was more than happy to assist with any future problems too!

This is a review specifically for Andy (Avant joiner at the Tranent site).

Andy was booked to resolve a long‑running issue, and although the root cause turned out to be something he couldn’t remediate on the day, he handled the situation with complete transparency and professionalism. What really stood out was his willingness to help with an unrelated issue I mentioned in passing — he fixed the front door immediately and without any prompt. That level of initiative and customer care is rare. I’d happily recommend Andy to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely helpful joiner.

Really positive experience at Strawberry Fields, Carlton. Love the house, few snags picked up by our professional snagger which were all resolved quickly and without dispute. Everyone really friendly on site and can't do enough for you 👍.

Couldn’t have asked any more of the Avant staff at highstonehall, Hamilton. From the saleswoman Jenn to the site team Martin and Chris. Very welcoming and always available if we need help or advice.

We bought the house based on the previous reputation of the quality of the homes that Avant used to be. As per the other reviews, we have had issues with things not being sorted out. And being ghosted, it's taken months to even get people around to agree to get to sort our garden out, which we paid for and still it's not been sorted.

It's clear that this company is no longer the high quality level of company that it used to be. And it is making houses now on the cheap, and the customer service is non existent, even though they think that it is existent.

Being a business owner i would not normally put a review like this however, it is just getting ridiculous now. We paid over 2000 pounds to have a lawn put down, however, again they just put it down on old rubbish building site. Soil and literally it has sunk and not grown properly. Even after, asking them before to make sure it is done properly. They've refused to give me a refund on it and are trying to just get away with cutting and resending it. We'll see how it goes, but this will not be the end of it if this is not sort out properly.

From the very beginning of the reservation process, Keiran Wilmot (Hackett Grange) has been excellent. He made what can often feel like a stressful stage, incredibly smooth and straightforward, clearly explaining each step and ensuring we always knew what to expect next. His communication has been timely, clear, and genuinely helpful.

During the personalisation meeting, Keiran took the time to understand what we wanted from our home, and offered thoughtful suggestions. It felt like he was genuinely invested in helping us create the right home.

What we’ve appreciated most so far, is the level of professionalism paired with a friendly, approachable manner. Keiran has been easy to reach, quick to respond, and proactive in keeping us updated throughout the process.

Overall, Keiran has made the entire experience so far with Avant Homes feel positive and well-supported. We’re genuinely grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone beginning their home-buying journey.

Abi was incredibly helpful and answered all our questions patiently and professionally. She was knowledgeable on all aspects of the new build estate and homes and was really easy to talk to and find out more.

Moved in November. Still waiting on all the snagging being completed. Sent an email on Thursday asking for an update; as usual was “ ghosted “ and now have an out of office email from Holly who is on annual leave. It would be courteous to reply even though if the questions could not be answered before annual leave started.

Great experience good communication great service

From the moment we arrived at Earls Park, we were given such a warm and genuine welcome by Tashana that it immediately put us at ease. We had originally been quite hesitant about considering a new build, especially as our hearts had always been set on a certain 1800s property. In truth, we only came to visit the site because friends had recommended it to us, so our expectations were fairly neutral.

However, over a number of visits, Tashana completely changed our perspective. Her passion, energy, and deep knowledge of Avant and the development really stood out.(not to mention her friendly energy!) She took the time to walk us through everything in detail, answered every question we had, and never made us feel pressured at any point. It was clear she genuinely cared about helping us make the right decision for our family.

What really stood out was the sense of community on the site. While walking to the show home, several residents who had already moved in were waving and saying hello to Tashana, and she greeted each of them by name. That level of familiarity and connection spoke volumes about both her commitment and the kind of environment being created at Earls Park.

Thanks to the confidence and reassurance Tashana has given us in both the development site and its management, we are now excited with purchasing on this site! Something we never expected when we first arrived. We’re incredibly grateful for her support throughout the process. Thank you C&A
