Beta standard software
Whilst I wanted this to work it simply isn't ready for commercial release. Constantly gets simple things wrong, for example:- It will enter a random number for an invoice despite the invoice being clearly labelled with "Invoice Number" and a number after it. It will also duplicate items on an invoice for example enter a delivery charge twice. Sage say it learns from use, it doesn't, on numerous occasions it's selected the wrong supplier or tax code even though I've corrected it a few times. I think it's just sales spiel from sage with it's "Powered by Ai" nonsense. But finally lets address the elephant in the room, 25p per entry! 50p if an invoice has two lines. Lets be real I can enter an invoice (accurately) myself in five seconds, this can't even get it 50% right. If the transaction fee was lower 2-5p say then it may be worth it but at the moment this is not release candidate software by any stretch.
Auto Entry aying things have happened but they have not
Had minor issue with Auto Entry over the years but the recent issue and the response from the helpdesk was concerning.
The issue was that invoices were showing as published and uploaded to Sage on the Auto Entry app but in fact they were not showing on the Sage application. Contacted the helpdesk who said that they could not tell me which invoices this had happened to but was up to me to manually check. There were a number of 'perhaps' in the conversation.
How can you trust Auto Entry to do was it says it has done.
Very poor all round
Don't bother using this system - waste of time
I honestly don't know anyone would bother with this system! I've been using it now for about two months to enter purchase invoices and it is a complete waste of time. The system consistently matches the invoices with the wrong supplier, converts sterling invoices to euros, ignoring default desctiptions, the list is endless. Much quicker to manually enter the invoices.
Not Fit For Purpose
If the system worked consistently it would be great. But the time you take checking things outweighs inputting them yourself.
Some invoices input never arrive, others arrive with incorrect supplier details on them, all in all its a disaster and cannot be relied on.
Without question, I would disband the system totally but as a Sage user and as its the only system supported by Sage we have no alternative than maintain it and try to mininmise its use
I will say that Support are very good to respond but again the time it makes to explain your issue and then having to upload again is just not constructive.
As I say this product really isn't fit for purpose given that its suposed to provide a fundamental tool in the accounting process and there is never any refund offered for the data incorrectly loaded let alone any compensation for the time spent sorting out the mess it creates!
They really do need to get their act together because as it stands they are charging for a totally unreliable system.
My advice is avoid if you can

You can only speak with BOT or a person on a 'chat'. Then you get inundated with 'How to' instructions that they decide are relevant for you and issues do not get resolved. I'm cancelling my subscription.

I use auto entry it is a trust worthy and reliable platform for preused and will soon be using it for out other company.
The great thing about auto entry unlike the other platforms out there which by and large are absolute rubbish ( and I know this because I have used all of them) it remembers supplier nominal codes and rules which ensure that your accounts are correct.
Terrible waste of time.
A product that is profoundly light in features that but so horrendously designed it's impossible to use - then you're given a bot to answer your questions. A total waste of time. Total.
Terrible Customer Services!
We recently moved to Sage and started using Auto Entry.
Terrible services. We're a decent sized company and have several invoices to go on. Their customer services is appalling. The fact that you can only type and speak to the agents instead of being on call is obnoxious! One of my 3 companies wont connect, one guy Femi tried to help me then went on Lunch and left the system disconnected/broken. Another Guy Gagan then came repeated the same processed - ate 2 hours of my day and failed to respond and now our companies are disconnected (not integrated).
Please stay away from this software! Dont repeat the mistake we made.

I got in touch regarding a faulty intercom system. I had an engineer out within 2 days. There were isssues but the engineer was very professional and stuck to the task. I was very impressed by the service levels.
system breakdown
Since last Wednesday 12th June 24 I have not been able to process invoices via Autoentry. All the company is saying is they are working on it. Its been a week??????????? very very dissapointed
It is rubbish
It is rubbish. It is also not fit for purpose. Too many bugs and rejects too many items. Not recommended. We went back to Dext. Do not use. You can't access mileage expense, reports, etc.
Sales invoices are not uploading into…
Sales invoices are not uploading into my inbox. I contacted Autoentry originally on 01 May 2024. 59 emails later and the issue is not solved. It seems to me that the staff I was in contact with didnot read my emails fully and certainly have not solved my issue. Communication is a disgrace. Nobody will phone me.
Setup UX is very difficult
Setup UX is very difficult, it's like chicken and egg constantly.
It simply doesn't work properly
The app takes a very long time to process receipts and invoices and still gets them wrong frequently. It will not reliably publish items to Xero; it says they've been published but they disappear into thin air.
A brand new problem this morning; I signed in and went to click on a processed invoice to publish it and a the screen flashed up "Forbidden" and said I don't have access to the link I requested. Absolutely useless. Avoid
