Never buy autodesk products. I used fusion for several years but the renewal and helpdesk is the worst experience ever. After an employee renewed my subscription he also cancelled it again after two weeks after a little over 20 contact moments with the helpdesk I was locked out of my account and had the pay an additional €150 to get my account working again. The helpdesk has not been able to solve any of the problems they created themselves. Even after being locked out to their wrong doing they were unwilling to reactivate my account

If you buy their programs, hope you never need customer support because it will never happen!!

Autodesk support is absolutely atrocious, spending a couple hundred grand a year to get ignored.

Autodesk feels like they can snoop around in your pc when you install their spyware software you paid for. Privacy is non existent for these people.
The software is harder to use and they stopped innovating 15 years ago. All they now do is annoy the user with useless new software every year that cannot operate with the old one, making your life harder, not easier. Dont install any software from them. They will invade your privacy and scam you.
Edit: I had a conversation with the head of Autodesk Dana Steele. The woman seems completely unhinged from reality, her response to privacy concerns: "dont use our software". She also tried to threaten me with a "team of lawyers". The wolf of wallstreet can learn from her. Crazy how far a software company goes to defend their own bad behaviour just to make a quick buck. Thank god I did learn that her pronouns are "she/her".

Was enquiring about the collections, call was dropped after a minute, no call back. Horrible customer service.

Program unstable and unusable. Apparently happen to reopen a case that they failed to fix but then they wont, just a load of automated responses, gotta start the process all over again. Hateful system.

I'm logged in but apparently licence has run out....its nowhere near expiry, its on a renewing monthly contract.

AutoDesk products 2023 or later collect our personal privacy data on our PCs since we can no longer opt out data collection. We weren't notified about this and didn't know until we read about it on their FAQ.

I hate how difficult it is to uninstall their software

Worse customer service from a software supplier. I have a active license and get a "license expired error" again! The last time it happened they had to remote in and change an env variable!

Crashes all the time for no reason. Not even performing difficult things. Then work is lost with no recovery. Terrible program

Revit constantly crashes on me wasting so much time. They cant fix it and now have just started ignoring me

Mockery towards customers. Programs that do not work a web page in which you can not find anything. Helpdesk almost zero. 14 pieces of junk to install a single program.

Year on year price increases for zero innovation.
How has this company not been investigated for being a monopoly?

Meine Version ist nicht mehr aktivierbar, da Autodesk sie für zu alt befindet. Also nicht mehr benutzbar. Zudem ist eine Neuwerwerb nur über ein ksotspieliges Abonnement möglich. Das Kosten/Nutzenverhältnis finde ich sehr unvorteilhaft für mich bzw. ich kann den Mehrwert im Verhältnis Kosten nicht erkennen. Ich bin jetzt auf eine deutlich günstigere Dauerlizenz von Gstar CAD umgestiegen, welche eine fast gleichartige Benutzerobläche wie Autocad anbietet und für mich den gleichenumfang an Funktionen anbietet. Somit mußte ich mich nach langjährigem Autocad-Gebrauch nicht in einen neue Software einarbeiten. Darüber bin ich sehr froh, da das die Abhängigkeit von einer Software verhindert.

AutoDesk er fuldstændig ligeglade med at en enkelt kunde har problemer med at få adgang til sin konto.
Jeg har skiftet mail, og kan nu ikke få min nye mail føjet til min konto.
Jeg kan derfor ikke tilgå mine dokumenter.
Har haft problemet 3 gange på 2 måneder, og AutoDesk erkender problemet, men er åbenbart ligeglad med at hjælpe.
Min licens er en proffessionel licens som jeg betaler for.

Autodesk is the most money hungry, greedy software company I have ever experienced. We entered into a contract worth well over $100,000 over 3 years (not to mention the tens of thousands we spent before then). I asked for a simple upgrade from Autcad LT to the Autocad/Revit LT suite, fully willing to pay the difference between the AutoCad LT price and the Autocad/Revit LT suite. After escalating the issue to the Western US and Canada representative, they told me that there was no way to make this request happen, and that we had to pay for the full price of both Autocad LT and Revit LT. The lack of care towards its customers is atrocious, and will have lasting effects on their company name.

I contacted Autodesk to renew a license for one of our users. 6 weeks and 50 odd emails later neither of the two sales agents can confirm which payment information to use. In the most recent reply the sales agent said to ''assume its the invoice pdf''. Two conflicting PDF files were sent to me, which I sent to the agent for clarification before their response. The issue is still not resolved and the license may expire before Autodesk can confirm how they want to be paid for the software. Which means the user who works with the software cannot complete the work on their project, which means the client will be dissatisfied. Why has it taken nearly 2 full months to renew a license?

I had a very, very different experience when working with Autodesk last year before the CS was outsourced. I believe the main issue comes from the outsourced customer service support, who have little to no training or resources, in an effort to cut corners and increase their margin.

Do not install any Autodesk software. They come bundled with actual malware that they call "GenuineService". When you remove their useless program, their service stays and when you try to uninstall it, you are greeted with "nuh uh you can't remove this message" because it is for "your own protection".

Never in my life have I felt this much hatred for a company before. What gives you the right to hijack my system without my permission even after I tried to remove your programs from my PC? (Waiting for a response that is not "it's for your own protection").

So-called GenuineService makes frequent requests to Autodesk servers and I am confident it also shares information with those servers. One might argue that they are not sharing personal or sensitive information about my system. However, if you welcome a guest into your house and after while you express them that they should leave and they are no longer welcomed in your house, would you be happy if they showed every-once in a while, entering your home without your knowledge doing stuff you don't know and basically just being there. If you are cool with that, I cannot recommed any company to work for other than autodesk, because clearly this is their mantra. They not only purposfully install malware to your system. But, make it impossible to remove it without having advanced computer skills. Which lest be hones at least 95% of their customers do not have. And when those customers express that they don't want their software in their PCs they are belitted and told "it's for their own protection".

In order to uninstall "genuine service" you need to donwload additional tools from microsoft that are actually used to remove malware that prevents you from uninstalling it. On top of that you need to stop and delete services, remove registiry entires and dozen other files.

I uninstalled your service and I am no longer consenting to this. You have no right to do this. I will never ever install any Autodesk software ever again. I have already spoken with friends and family who use your tools and urged them to remove your software.

I downloaded ReCap Photo trial for 30 days, and when I tried to use it, it won't let me upload a photo, which is the main function of this program unless I buy the Pro version. I asked for a call back from Autodesk customer support and they told me that they deeply apologize but in other words they told me that their 30 days trial of this program is worthless! I will remove all Autodesk programs from my computer, and let my IT department to scan my computer registry for any Autodesk extension after removing all programs, and if my IT will find any small extension from Autodesk, it will go to my legal department for a lawsuit! This is really unbelievable!!!
New development; After uninstalling both Autodesk programs from my computer, our IT guy found many LOCK files and TEMP file related to the latest Autodesk downloads from today's date, if you download any Autodesk program to your computer, unless you are very familiar with windows registry, Autodesk semi hidden files will stay on your computer until you will remove them. Most will not give any indications that these are Autodesk TEMP files. I have several screenshots of these files. Instead of spending time money on legal battles with this company, I will send all info to Federal authorities and media, I'm sure they will be interested! Stay a way from Autodesk!!!
