This company is unethical & sucks. They think AI replaces hardworking & passionate people with families.. Think Again. No one wants to hear from a bot. I appreciate when companies listen & care for their customers, not AI. This was a bad move by Autodesk & they will see the snowball effect begin shortly. Goodluck.

One of the greediest companies out there. Instead of fixing their software, they pivoted to a subscription model with massive, unjustified costs imposed on existing users. Imagine working in the same software for five years, uploading all your own designs to their platform, and then being told you now have to pay just to access your own work again.
And that’s before even getting into the software itself. Fusion 360 constantly freezes on Windows 11 on every machine I’ve used. It was freezing long before the subscription price hikes, and it still freezes now. Nothing has improved.
So what exactly am I paying for here - higher costs, locked-in data, and the same instability? It’s hard to see the value in continuing with this level of frustration.

Now find Autocad LT software is flagging for an activation code which Autodesk will not supply. As I purchased this package, the Autocad software is now preventing my use. This is nothing short of extortion. I have asked for a refund but the chat line is dropped by their agents. Very dodgy practice.

Buggy and annoying experience
Buggy and annoying experience. I've been using 3ds Max, Revit, and AutoCAD for almost 10 years, and to this day, I encounter problems with bugs or similar issues almost every day. It's just impossible to imagine how bad developers can be at their office. Just be happy that Trustpilot doesn't allow swearing or other inappropriate language, or you'd only get those words. :)

I would give them a zero if I could. The app is not installing on my brand new laptop. The online chat rep wasted so much of my time. They just sent me to self help troubleshooting articles that I had already found on my own, and then they said the only way to speak to someone was to go back and redo all of the many steps I did to troubleshoot and record my screen the whole time. Then they left the chat before waiting to receive my recoding so I had to start again.

Worst ever products. I'm trying to log into my autodesk account all morning and it just keeps crashing. You would expect from a company who charges thousands of dollars on subscriptions yearly that they would peak on user experience? I can tell you that they peak on utter incompetence. How difficult can it be to make a website that works? No access whatsoever.

Always, when I contact customer service, they never ever wanted to help. Just asking so many non related questions and wasting my time.
Recently, I purchased Civil 3D and having some technical issue. I sent an email explaining the problem clearly. Funny, instead of helping me me they ask for a screen shot. Now its more than 5 days. Noone contacted me.
I never recommend this. But, ppl who need this has no any other option. Probably these ppl know that. Tats why they just dont care customers.
I hink these CSR ppl get paid for nothing. Do nothing for us.
Shameful and Discriminatory Culture
I never thought I’d leave a review like this for Autodesk, but here we are.
We submitted a legally binding letter from a UK Local Authority (Hertfordshire EHE Department), confirming that my child is home educated under British law. This is standard UK educational procedure. Every other major studio software provider — Foundry, SideFX, Maxon — accepted the exact same document within hours. Autodesk? Rejected it.
No way to speak to a human. No email. No contact number. Just an impersonal, opaque portal that rejected official documentation because it wasn’t “from a school.” Well, here’s the thing: in the UK, home education is supervised and verified by Local Authorities, not schools. Autodesk clearly doesn’t understand that — or worse, doesn’t care.
Let me be clear: this is not just an oversight — it’s discrimination against children who follow a legally supported alternative education route. You’re denying access to educational software because you refuse to update your understanding of how the world works outside of your Americanised default.
Autodesk positions itself as a global leader. If that’s true, then act like one. Respect all forms of education that are legal and recognised in your customers’ countries. Otherwise, your “student access” policy is nothing but a branding stunt.

The product is good but the business is terrible. The pricing is very badly designed and not friendly at all to embarking new users. The Fusion360 app itself is good, but the entire business model of Autodesk is really frustrating.

Wir haben im April vier Lizenzen gekauft. Leider wurde keine Rechnung übersendet. Der Support spricht kein deutsch, ist unfähig das Problem zu verstehen überhaupt nicht hilfreich. Es werden sinnlos Nachrichten formuliert, ohne irgend eine Hilfe.
Da die Firma nicht in Deutschland sitzt, ist es ziemlich schwierig rechtliche Schritte einzuleiten.
