I had the DNA test done and was a bit annoyed from the start because they send repeated, many repeated texts to urge you to send it back promptly. Even after I had sent it, dropped it at the post office, several days later, I got another text saying my package had not been scanned by the post office. It had. Their system just lags. It's just annoying to get so many reminders. Then the kit was processed and once it was done I was texted to set up a one-on-one consultation. So I did that. Received a meeting invite, accepted, and then received again multiple texts reminding me. One at 24 hours before, one an hour before, one 15 minutes before. It was ridiculous. I had several reps tell me the texts are auto generated, as though they're not responsible for them and don't control the frequency. So I was ready for my call and nothing. Rep stood me up. Utterly obnoxious. About an hour after the meeting time, he texted and said my report was in my portal. No mention of the meeting. No mention that he was a no-show. I asked why he didn't call as scheduled. Never responded and not heard from since.

After further research I have learned they do a serious hard abusive sell during those meetings to buy their $3k system. It's good that he didn't call because I would have hung up.

The report is interesting and I think was worth the $30. They claim they usually charge $100, but I've not seen anyone have to pay full price, so the "sale" is a sham. So overall I'm glad to have the report. But I will have nothing else to do with them.

Companies do so much better and are so much more reputable when they are not so completely obvious that all they want is to upsell you. But from a $30 product to $3000? Um, no.

I was skeptical at first because I've seen a lot of health gimmicks online. But the Alterme DNA test was actually insightful. The report explained why intermittent fasting never worked for me and suggested adjustments that made sense. The ring keeps me accountable daily. Overall, a solid system if you're serious about optimizing your health.

Upon determining that my ring wasn't charging and all steps had been taken to attempt to charge it, the representative kindly offered me a replacement ring, free of charge. I thought I was going to be out of luck, but I was pleasantly surprised how simple it was to get the replacement and stay on my journey.

I really thought I was going to love this ring, but honestly I’m a little disappointed for the price.

There are definitely things I like about it. I enjoy the different workout and tracking options, and I like the idea of having something small and wearable instead of a bulky watch. The concept is great and the data it provides can be helpful.

However, the actual ring itself doesn’t feel as high quality as I expected at this price point. It just doesn’t feel as premium as I thought it would.

The biggest issue for me has been the app. It takes a long time to load and sync, and there have been multiple days where I wore the ring all day and it didn’t track anything. That’s really frustrating when the whole point is to track your activity and health metrics.

Overall, I like the idea of the ring and the variety of tracking options, but for the price I expected a smoother app experience and more reliable tracking. Right now it just doesn’t quite feel worth the cost.

Took the DNA test and then used me Alterme Ring it's so easy to wear and syncs seamlessly and the app is free as long as your training. It look me about couple of weeks I'm more consistent with workouts and sleep patterns. the personalization is real and showing results!

I have been able to actually stick to a work out routine for almost a year! This program keeps me accountable and gives me the health monitoring aspects of oura and also takes care of giving me recommendations and work outs based on that information which is super helpful. I feel stronger and healthier than I did a year ago. The biggest draw back I have found is that I haven't lost a ton of weight which was lower on the priority list, but still a goal of mine. I've recently added barbells and complex movements into my routine which has hastened weight loss more than band work outs but I have to go out of the app for that. The other thing I wish it had was a more straight forward stretching routine based on my mobility issues rather than generalized yoga routines or active stretching.

AlterMe makes it easy for me to track my food intake and sleep, and I love the variety of workout options and accountability! I love that my profile is tailored to ME, using many data points to customize my plan. I’ve really enjoyed the strength workouts, and I am impressed with a number of the enhancements they’ve made since joining.

I like using Alterme, I was initially just interested in the DNA test. I ordered the DNA test and then had an advisor call to go over it. The genetic breakdown was interesting (especially the carb sensitivity and recovery markers), and he tied it into how the ring tracks sleep and daily strain. I was already committed to purchasing the full system but the call with the advisor shifted toward upgrading, which felt a little intense. But overall the explanation of how the wearable data connects to my genetics was actually helpful.

I have been using alter me for about two years now and it has changed my fitness game to make it more sustainable. It doesn't pressure you to wear yourself out and actually encourages you to take work in days when you don't sleep good,etc. it has helped me be able to make an easy fitness plan especially while being a mom of two. I love that I can do workouts at home that are effective and I can also track my workouts at the gym. The ring has been so nice for me to be able to track my steps and sleep. I have loved alter me and everything that comes with my fitness plan. It's easy to track food too which has helped me lose weight! I recommend it to everyone. Especially my mama friends!

Their dna test didn't show scoliosis, arthritis, or depression and diabetes from both sides of the family. For all that money, it said you can lose weight doing cardio. Who said anyone wanted to lose weight?

Total rip-off. Don't waste your money.

I've been a customer of Alter for nearly two years. I haven't had many service issues, but I recently lost my signal and needed a replacement. The customer service experience was fast, warm, knowledgeable, and the resolution was fantastic. You don't see this level of service very often. Nice work Team!

I've tried tracking tools, but the AlterMe system feels more personalized. I am always busy, so I needed something simple. The ring makes tracking effortless.

Purchased the ring and it never works correctly. Response was "this is due to an outage with one of our connected services. Your readiness score, daily recommendations, historical stats, or other biometric insights may be delayed." I requested a refund a week later and was told I had to pay $99 for restock fee and $899 for DNA analysis which is confusing if I didnt sign up its the $27.99 I originally paid but since I signed up the report is now $899. Its just a scam uses AI for meals and workouts which you can do yourself. Ring doesnt track correct sleep and workouts.

I bought the program. I took the test. I never got anything from them!

I was stupid and fell for the BS. After about a week I realized what I did and wanted to return the ring and end the subscription. The ring cost $99, well to return it is a $99 restocking fee. FOR WHAT?? Don’t fall for it. The ring is bulky so if you lift heavy, it’ll pinch and rip skin. The monthly “subscription “ is $59 with a huge interest rate, and the ring is $99. The DNA results didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know. This really isn’t worth anything. You can do your own research on Google and get the same results.

Just ridiculous. Does NOT take 7-10 days for results. I'm at day 30 and they are now expecting me to talk to someone for 30 minutes about my "result". I just want the results I PAID FOR. BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!

After ordering fitness DNA analysis, they constantly sent intrusive texts. Once I was informed my results were ready, they did not provide them, but required I set a 30-minute appointment for a phone call with on of their “fitness experts,” who is certainly someone who is going to try to upsell me on something else. I just want my results, which they are holding hostage until I speak with one of their salespeople. I am furious. I suspect I will need to get my credit card replaced because I have a feeling they’ll sign me up for something (without my consent) and charge me more. To be polite, this company lacks transparency, to say the least. I wish I had avoided them entirely.

I would strongly urge anyone not to participate in any of this company offers.
I purchased a 'Ring" which monitors your sleep progress . In addition, I was told that I must purchase a monthly subscription (which I later learned in my correspondences is a payment plan pay off the ring?? I was told by their rep that all I had to pay was a $100.00 and the additional cost could be cancelled at any time. Ok fine. However after wearing the ring, I ended up with a rash from it and I could no longer wear it. When I sent an email to the customer service dept. stating both 1) I had a bad reaction from the ring 2) I was told I could send the ring back and cancel any months payments.
I was told that I was not allowed to cancel any payments, even after telling them I could no longer wear the ring due to adverse reaction.
After some back and forth, I was told in an email that I could contact them and "they would be happy to assist with the next steps for closing my account". HOWEVER after contacting them the next day to request the next steps to close the account - It was suddenly no longer an option and the "best we can do is offer a $400.00 but I would still be responsible for paying off the remaining balance of the ring payment plan. Again after responding to them asking for the option to close out my account, they responded with a generic statement about how they are here to help me. I have never experience such a difficult and unorganized company.
But clearly this is a company that does not care about their customers or about the health of their customers. I am utterly disgusted with them and will now need to contact my bank to deal with it.

DONT GET IT! I signed up to do the program. I got the ring and it was bulky and sometimes glitchy. While I liked the original dna report, the tips and content were not anything unique. You can get better exercises on other cheaper sites. And you have to commit to 3 years! They told me I had 30 days to return. I’ve been waiting for weeks and still haven’t gotten processing forms. And then got an alert they are going charge me again. I keep messaging them and no response. If they do charge me, I promise they will see legal action!
