The AlterMe insights offered from the test have helped me make some positive changes for my health and wellness. My DNA really does tell me what my body likes to eat and how it likes to work out to perform optimally. The fitness ring is very comfortable and the app is easy to use. I've been using the AlterMe program for 4 months now and have seen improvements in my body, weight, overall health, and sleep. It is easy to use. The workout selections offer variety, are engaging and fit into any schedule. I also love being able to generate recipes for meal prepping that are great tasting and easy to prepare. I have tried many new foods thanks to the nutritional options!

I have enjoyed learning about my DNA for health and fitness, but I'm struggling to understand now to use the information to lose weight. I feel better mentally and physically, but my scales are not working with everything that I'm doing.

Great app, great program for people struggling with an exercise routine

I like being able to track my food, I would like to be able to scan barcodes. I don’t like that I have exercise suggestions every day. I’m only able to exercise three times a week. It would also be helpful if I could log a gym workout.

This company has the best customer service. I had a problem with my ring. Asked me if my info was all the same. 5 days later. I have a new ring. So easy to reach a real person also.

I have been waiting for a new ring because the one I currently have no longer fits. When I originally got it I didn't get to pick it out which wasn't too bad but currently I provided the current size I needed based on already having the ring sizing kit and nothing ever came. I've been waiting for a really long time.

AlterMe has been a complete game-changer for me. I may not always agree with some recommendations or tracking, however, I have had nothing but success. I also love the articles provided within the app, the occasional email updating me on new things coming, and the new features installed that are inspired by customer feedback. I feel that I am being heard.

I have loved this program so much! It has been SO convenient to track my nutrition and calories to make sure I am getting the nutrients I need each day. I love that it generates recipes when I am too lazy to think of something to make. One of the things I love most about that it is takes into consideration how my specific body and DNA react to different macros and what combo is the most beneficial for me. One of my favorite things to do each morning is check my readiness score and look at how I slept the night before. My husband and I always do this together and compare our numbers. I can't wait to continue doing this to finally give my body the time and attention for what it truly needs to thrive. Thank you AlterMe!

I love the Alterme System. My DNA results show that Carbs aren't my enemy. Waking up each morning and getting my Readiness Score along with my workout plan keeps me motivated. I purchased the system back in 2024 and love the updates that have been made to the app. The Cardio Sculpt and Pilates classes have been a game changer for me. The instructors for the Workouts and Workins are extremely motivating. Not having to pay for a monthly gym membership and a Macro Tracking makes me happy. The best part of the Alterme System is not being at a gym waiting for equipment, or feeling judged by others, the noise or worse the gym bros and creeps. Best money I have spent for my health and fitness.

I do like most of the new changes. I know it is difficult to please everyone. I am good with all the changes.

I love all the information that is given to help me make better choices to support my goals. I have had Alter for over a year now and have seen a lot of great changes.

The product is FANTASTIC and the customer service is OUTSTANDING! I feel like this ring and the data from my DNA is helping me achieve my fitness goals

Ring is very good, help me control my sleep with all the numbers and I use a lot the heart rates for my cardio sessions. I really recommend if you want to take care of your health.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can be very inept with technology sometimes and I never felt stupid when things were explained to me. The product is also pretty user friendly which I appreciate. All around, a great experience with a great company!!

I love how easy this program is to incorporate into your day to day. I wear my ring while I sleep, wake up, open my app and I know how I slept and what workouts I should do that day. I have the mirror and it makes it so much easier to commit where I've created a space for my to work out and follow along all while tracking my heart rate.

Customer service is also great and are there to help where needed.

I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from Alter Me.

I ordered a smart ring from them, and it did not work as advertised. Because of that, I returned the product in February 2026 following their stated return process. After they received the item, I was emailed confirmation that a refund would be issued.

That refund never came.

To make matters worse, I am still being charged even after returning the ring. So not only did the product fail, but the company has continued billing me while withholding my refund.

I have done everything on my end correctly. I returned the item, followed their process, and relied on their written confirmation. At this point, I am left without the product, without my refund, and dealing with ongoing charges.

This has been extremely frustrating and feels misleading at best. I would recommend that others be very careful before purchasing, especially given the issues with returns and billing.

Good luck getting your results! It doesn’t matter if you schedule a call because they call when they feel like it. Called the number left in a follow up email and didn’t get anywhere. Asked for a supervisor and got nowhere! Save your money! This whole operation is a fraud!

I’ve been enjoying AlterMe so far. I like the ring and how workouts adjust based on rest. it feels personalized. Having the workouts in the app is also nice since I don’t need other fitness subscriptions.
I do wish they added new workouts more often, and it would be great to save/favorite ones I like.
The app updates a lot, which is fun. The new food tracking with just photos is surprisingly accurate. I used to track everything manually, so this saves a ton of time.
Planning to keep using it

I have attempted to reach Alterme several times by phone and email with no success. I never received my DNA kit, and now have been on the phone waiting for someone to pick up for 40 minutes. This is absolutely horrible. They have my money and I have not even gotten to speak with anyone. Strongly DO NOT recommend. the date listed for "date of experience" is the most recent. I have been trying to reach them since January 27!!!

I’ve been a member since September and unfortunately this is an expensive lesson learned.
This ring sucks, it’s bulky and I am constantly moving it to different fingers because it gets in the way of grabbing or holding stuff. And I was unable to return it because they only give you 30 days per their return policy. Ugh
And seemingly the ring doesn’t recognize any of my workouts that are done outside of the app. For example, I’ve been doing Pilates and swimming, and I take walks and it doesn’t register any of it. Disappointed!
Finally, the financial company the makes sure they get your money is also a joke. I reached out to them to let them know I am unable to register my account online using any browser or any device. And all I received from them, is a message telling me how to register my account, and nothing addressing the errors I sent to them.
I hate it.
