**Avoid this company at all costs.**

This has honestly been one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with a travel company. When my Umrah flight was cancelled, I expected support and guidance. Instead, I was told I needed to pay even more money for replacement flights, despite the cancellation not being my fault.

As I couldn't afford this, I asked for a refund. Weeks turned into months and I was repeatedly fobbed off with excuses. I still hadn't received my money back, and instead of taking responsibility, they tried convincing me to cancel the booking myself so they could keep 40% of what I'd paid. It felt completely unfair and incredibly misleading.

The whole process was stressful from start to finish. Getting straightforward answers was almost impossible, communication was poor, and I was constantly left chasing for updates. Once they had my money, it felt like I no longer mattered as a customer.

I also found it worrying that they strongly pushed bank transfers and charged extra if you wanted to pay by credit card. Combined with the fact they appear to trade under different names, it left me with very little confidence in the business.

If your trip goes perfectly, you might never have an issue. But the moment something goes wrong, don't expect them to stand by you. I would never trust this company with another booking and would urge anyone considering them to think twice and read the one-star reviews first. I genuinely wish I had.

On the 19/05/2026 my family and I booked a umrah package for 5 ppl costing £6240 via Zainab to travel on the 26/08/2026. We were told we had to pay £5465 now and the remaining balance in June.

They told us to bank transfer which should have been the first red flag, as this is unheard of in the travel industry

I thought they selling umrah packages they can’t be fraudsters- how wrong was I.

When I made my payment, I made to Times Travel LTD whose address is 13 Station Road, London, SE25 5AH where as on Al Haqs website their address is Romford Road, London E15 4BZ. When I asked why this was she said it’s part of there company but based elsewhere. For what reason I am uncertain but they kept persisting for payment as “prices will rise”

Zainab promised us tour guide ziyarats etc and then asked us to give her a 5 star review. I refused and said I would once I’ve returned from umrah. I’m glad I didn’t and sadly I am writing this review as they don’t even deserve 1 star and trick their customers to give them good reviews.

On 19/06/2026, Zainab contacted me to advise that the airline had cancelled our flight and that alternative flights would need to be booked. I asked why the airline was not providing a suitable replacement flight, as I understood this would normally be arranged following a cancellation. She explained that the alternative offered by the airline did not fit within our travel schedule, so new flights would need to be purchased instead.

During the discussion, it became clear that she expected me to cover the cost of the new flights. When I challenged this, she stated that the cancellation was not her responsibility and that I would have to pay for the replacement flights myself. These flights were approximately £200 more per person than our original booking.

What concerned me most was that no refund for the cancelled flights was offered or even mentioned. Instead, I was being asked to pay for entirely new flights, costing around £3,000 in total. This was simply not affordable for me. Furthermore, there was no clear information provided about recovering the money already paid for the cancelled flights, making the situation both unreasonable and financially stressful.

I seeked some legal advise and was told that she is lying and that Zainab should have offered me two options
1. Give me a full refund as we are covered by the UK Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations act 2018.
2. ⁠provide alternative flights at no extra cost.
Because the Umrah trip is booked as a flight-inclusive package holiday, the travel operator is legally responsible for the entire trip. If the airline cancels the flight and a suitable alternative flight cannot be found, the operator has failed to deliver a key component of the package. They must offer a full refund for the complete package (including hotels, visas, and transport) within 14 days.

I came back to Zainab who got her manager involved Zubair and both just lied saying they cannot as they have already paid for hotels. They then asked me to approve a cancellation which comes at a 40% charge which I refused.

As of today I have not recieved a penny back of Al Haq but just lies and more lies.
This would have been the first time I was going umrah and now instead I will be taking them to the small county courts as this is now about a fight against right and wrong and even if I did pay the extra money and went, I wouldn’t be able to trust Zainab, Zubair and the rest of the Al Haq team.
Please do not book your umrah through these cheats and don’t be fooled by the good reviews as they ask you to give review before you travel.

I booked a umrah package and the flight got cancelled. Al Haq tried to get me to pay for new flights which I couldn’t afford so I requested a refund. It has been over 2 months and they have not returned a penny of my money and tried to manipulate me to request a cancellation so that they can charge me 40% fee which I refused.
My experience with them has been horrendous the staff don’t speak English. They have different trading names and request bank transfer payments rather than debit or credit card which is also dubious. For credit card payments request a extra fee which is totally unheard of.
In my life I have never dealt with anyone as dodgy as them shocking they sell umrah packages.
Dodgy as hell avoid at all costs and please read the bad reviews before you book. It seems they are only good if everything works out but if things go wrong you are on your own and they they are no use.
They provide a service up until they have taken your money once they have then there is no service or accountability.

I had a great experience booking my Umrah package for November 2026 with Maryam at Al Haq Travel. The whole process has been seamless from start to finish, and Maryam has been professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout.

She took the time to answer all my questions, made the booking process straightforward, and also shared some really useful advice to help me prepare for my trip. Her excellent customer service has given me confidence that I'm in good hands.

Right from the outset, a very pleasant lady, Laiba, began helping me very professionally. Within a very short time, gathered the required package. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to change the date which was responded to with equal efficiency and short time scale. Would recommend this sweet pleasant lady to anyone looking to book Saudi package through Alhaq Travel.
