In this case, the flight unfortunately does not meet the legal eligibility criteria for compensation under the applicable passenger-rights regulations, as it was not covered by EU Regulation 261/2004. This is a matter of law and not something we can influence or override.

When this happens, our litigation department must escalate the case to the relevant Aviation Authority or legal stage. This is not something we can control—it is the airline’s unwillingness to comply with EU Regulation 261/2004 that prolongs the process.

We understand this delay is disappointing, but please know we have kept you informed throughout and explained that escalated cases can take many months (sometimes over a year) depending on the authority’s response times. Aireclaim’s role is to represent and support passengers until they receive what they are legally entitled to, even when the process is slowed down by external entities.

We’re sorry to read your review, but we must clarify an important point: unfortunately, airline compensation cases can take much longer than expected to be resolved. When airlines refuse to pay voluntarily and we are forced to escalate matters to court, the process can take months or even years depending on the jurisdiction.

This is not because Aireclaim withholds payments—we only succeed when our passengers succeed. We continuously fight for passenger rights and follow up with airlines and courts until compensation is actually paid. Negative reviews directed at us because of airline delays and unwillingness to pay are unfair, as the true obstacle lies with the airlines’ tactics to avoid compliance.
