I bought a splendid new 4K LG OLED TV a couple of weeks back and decided that it was time to replace my 16 year old (DIY shed-bought and self installed) aerial and cabling to help get the best possible picture.

I was going to get one from a well known national chain (whose name implies they specialise in screws...) but did a bit of hunting and discovered ATV's website.

To me, a bit of Co-Ax cable was a bit of Co-Ax cable, and I had a coil of the stuff left over from my previous efforts, but reading the ATV site soon convinced me that was a bad idea. Perhaps there was a copper shortage when it was made!

Anyhow, I decided to ring ATV to ask for some advice and, after the owner's valiant attempt to persuade me to keep my original aerial with lots of advice about how to get the best out of it (and to avoid him getting my money...), I managed to get him to sell me one of his LOG 36 kits.

By this stage, he'd already taken my details and had a look to sort out which kit was best for me given our location and the local transmitters, so I was confident what I was going to buy was right for the job.

The whole kit, aerial, bracket, pole, 20m of top quality cable, his stainless 'U' bolt upgrade, a whole box of cable clips and literally everything else I needed, was cheaper than buying the stuff with a no-name aerial and dubious cable from the above mentioned national firm.

The postage was only £4. Now how on earth he can send me all that stuff for that little I've no idea, but I ordered it at 11am on Friday and it arrived first thing on Monday morning. Marvellous.

And what lovely stuff it is too. All top quality, really well made and it's been a pleasure to fit.

The result? Well we have a mains powered signal booster for our old aerial and without it, I get three lights out of 12 on a signal direction finder (a Fringe Highlands/Worldwide VHF/UHF TV Signal Finder if you're interested - we use it on our narrow boat). Boosted, it gets up to 9 or 10.

I've not quite completed my cable run from ATV's kit yet, but with no booster (and using an old, used Co-Ax plug just to try it out) I'm getting 7 - 8 lights from it. This may well improve once I've fitted ATV's nice new brass plug. Boosted, it's smack up to the maximum 12. We will certainly be getting every available channel now.

I have to say I've found the website so interesting it's been hard to keep off it, and if there's anything you're not sure about with your aerial, the answers seem to be on it. Everything you need to fit the kits he sells is there and very easy to follow too.

To sum up, I've no idea how this chap provides such a great service for so little money, but anyone who still goes to a DIY shed or national chain to buy aerials and parts when he's out there must be nuts.

I'm from the East Midlands incidentally, and until the middle of last week, had never heard of ATV, so it goes without saying I have no connection with the firm except as a completely satisfied customer.

Keep it up mate.

Good materials dispatched quickly.Very good advice on website. This installer has taken the time to explain issues and carry out tests about their trade which is commendable.

Excellent products and great service. I ordered the kit on Monday and it turned up on Tuesday morning. ATV really know everything there is to know about aerials, poles, brackets, clamps and cables. Great website too. Highly rated!

Just found your site and seen the bodged jobs. As I am, at present, assisting a relative who had a very poor job of aerial installation on her property (and charged for work not actually carried out) I find it somewhat comforting to know that whilst she was charged for a very poor job she may well not be the only one!

I've used ATV a few times now. Their products are excellent quality and completely superior to those you see in DIY outlets. I live on the coast in the NW Highlands and have found the brackets etc Ive used from ATV to be the best - heavy quality, well galvanised and so haven't rusted.

They have also provided some very useful advice and guidance and their delivery is always prompt

These guys only sell high quality gear, they refuse to sell substandard garbage. The prices are superb for this quality equipment. Check out their website for absolutley masses of information and advice. Order from these guys, you won't be disappointed.

I'm not usually one to "review" this or that but wanted to register how I appreciate the information provided on ATV's website. Clear, uncomplicated, comprehensive and intelligent. Whether you buy something from them or not (frankly, I read it only out of interest), the information provided is worthwhile reading. Everyone has a TV/satellite cable of some sort or other, and it's best to know what you're buying next time around. Thanks ATV.

I've used these guys a bit over a few years now and their delivery times and service have been excellent.
Sure, the web site isn't all flash, whizzy graphics and marketing gimmicks, but what is lacks in all that junk it more than makes up in knowledge, advice, fact and a bit of fun.
This is the go to site I use when ever I have a query that is aerial related and where I went when I wanted to replace the mess of wiring that was my satellite and aerial setup.

I needed to replace a load of cable and an aerial and fit a couple of splitters. Found ATV's web site and am pleased I did. Not only is the site informative but their cable, connectors, face plates and other accessories are top quality. There is no comparison between what ATV supply and what you can waste your money on in an out of town shed.

Outstanding website! It is accurate and informative and the company are most helpful on the telephone. I placed an order onTuesday morning, added an item Tuesday afternoon and it all arrived on Wedenesdasy at lunchtime. The equipment is of very high quality.

After much searching the internet to get a caravan aerial solution I came across ATV. Their site is so informative and interesting I was on there for a couple of hours reading all of their technical documents explaining everything you could ever know about aerials. I then phoned to order their caravan kit which has everything you need (including two jockey wheel clamps where other kits only have one). It arrived next day complete with instructions and I had it installed and tested in 45 minutes. The kit contains top quality parts and I will be recommending it and ATV to other caravanners.

Fed up with the rubbish supposedly mobile aerials for our campervan, a search of the internet brought me to these guys. Now know more than I need to regards aerials. Took their advice (36 DM log with associated bits and pieces) and have now enjoyed excellent TV everywhere we've stopped from West Penwith to Mull. Friendly service, no hard sell, everything arrived next day. What more can I say.

Forget cheap aerials from screw fix or B&Q this is most probably the best website regarding aerials, there are pages and pages of useful information regarding on which equipment to use .
I have made a few purchases from this website and the service these guys have provided is awesome, with excellent prices, you do get your money's worth quality wise very happy :)

This company is amazing - they'll get parts to you at the same speed as Amazon, but with the same customer service you'd expect from a local shop back in 1970.

Their website is an amazing source of information and they only stock decent gear with the motto being "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing properly".

I'm a repeat customer and can't praise the product quality or service highly enough!

These guys know what they're doing , stock good quality ( maybe best quality , but I haven't researched the whole market) stuff that is better than what I was getting elsewhere , at keen prices. And they've got everything.
On top of that they're quick and helpful.

After reseaching on the net how best to distribute a TV signal around the home I found the Aerialsandtv.com website.

The website itself is FULL of priceless, accurate and unbiased info on the entire aerials/singal subject.

I ordered some screened faceplates, cable, connectors and a splitter on Friday, they arrived on Tuesday and I was not expecting them to be this solid! The website states it only provides quality goods, no cheap and nasties and it really means it, can't wait to install the kit. It's going t be rock solid and look damn smart at the same time!

Would definitely recommend/use again.
